Odyssey has been my go-to for over 15 years. Recently one of my 2 canine buddies was diagnosed with a terminal condition and was losing his appetite. The Oddessy staff food recommendations were a hit, and Java eats 3 squares a day to keep his weight and strength up. Staff and management have always been great, why we continue to frequent the establishment, OH, we did find Nemo at Odessy many years ago.

I’ve been coming here for over a year now, and I’ve never had an issue with anything before. It’s always clean and I like that I can place special orders so I’m always sure I’ll get my dog’s food. They have the healthiest pet foods and treats, which is why I started coming here since I got Kylo. There’s really nothing to complain about. And it seems like the few 1 star reviews are from clueless Karen’s that don’t know anything or like to complain about the smallest things 😂. Come here if you want to buy the best quality stuff for your pet. Keep in mind they are a small locally owned place. Don’t expect them to carry every product, but they will carry the best products. Anyway, here’s kylo enjoying his antler and new hoodie from Odyssey Pets.

I have been coming to Odyssey Pets for the last few years. The staff has always been extremely friendly and helpful.I have been getting my pets groomed there for just as long. Kirstin is my preferred groomer. She has always done an excellent job with my animals. She's not afraid to make suggestions or to point out if what I am asking for is not in the best interest of my pet. Not only does she groom my dogs to perfection, she is excellent at trimming my cats nails.I have also had the pleasure in meeting one of the owners, Sherry, and she was kind enough to give me a little tour of the facility. I saw the grooming room, the boarding pens and the daycare room. Each space was kept extremely clean. I saw no evidence of spills or messes being left unattended. The crates themselves were pretty well kept.I would recommend Odyssey Pets to anyone and have passed out business cards, especially if someone mentions their pets need a good groom. Kirstin is the best!

I’ve been having my dog groomed by Gina at Odyssey Pets on Preston and Belt Line in Dallas for a couple of years now. I truly can’t say enough about how FABULOUS she is and today was no exception. I needed my dog done by 12:00 and she said she would try. They let me know she was ready at 10:30 and she looks as awesome as always when Gina does her magic!! Thanks Gina, you’re the BEST❣️🐶🐾

Bear has a particular problem with him getting a new leash every other week, I’d rather go visit Odyssey Pets for their great customer service and family oriented environment today was my first time visiting and I’m excited to go back just to get that welcome feeling again, not only did we leave with a leash and harness but new food and knowledge for his eating habits, great way to end the month. Keep up the fantastic job guys!!

We love this place! They have great quality dog food and the owners are very nice and knowledgeable. Our dog has had a great experience with nail trimming as well. She doesn’t like her nails trimmed but was nice and calm all throughout the nail trim here. Great people and great store! I highly recommend it!

I highly recommend Odyssey Pets! Great selection of high quality pet foods and bulk chews for my dogs. One of my dogs is impossible for his nails. Kirstin is the only one that can grind his nails without a fight. Also he is so shiny after his baths with Kirstin. Thanks!

Kirstin has been grooming my golden retriever abd wheaten terrier for a couple of grooms now and I will not go anywhere else. She is a perfectionist. My two have never looked better!!!

This place is right beside my grocery store, so I will sometimes drop my pet off to he groomed while I grocery shop. They do an amazing job. If you plan to purchase dog food or pet toys from here be prepared to spend a lot more than you would elsewhere. But I would assume this is because it is a private petstore. Outside of the pricing being a bit high. The customer service is fabulous. Very nice and well kept store overall.

The Fish Room at Odyssey Pets: One of my go-to local fish stores! I'm a <5 year freshwater fish keeper and have found this store to have healthy fish, clean tanks, fun rotating selection of aquatic creatures, and good deals. The fish keepers are amicable and enthusiastic, and I get the feeling they genuinely care for the livelihood of these wet friends. I love that they post their stock on Facebook - this is a luxury I didn't know I needed. Because this LFS is inside a pet store, I bring my dog sometimes to shop with me.

My family loves this pet store! The staff is so knowledgeable and had so much great advice for my fur baby with allergies! Everyone is always so friendly and helpful! Also, there are so many high quality dog treats and foods! Highly recommend!

Great selection of food and supplies. The groomers always give my dog a good cut, including a cute little mohawk. I've been shopping at Odyssey since they were further north on Preston ages ago. It's definitely my go-to pet store.

I have taken my teacup chi to this salon twice and Carly is so sweet and loving with Georgie. I appreciate how she takes her time with her knowing the Georgie is not only tiny and fragile but she's not used to it and a little on the timid side. Georgie left yesterday looking perfect, smelling great, and she even had a new toy to boot (thanks to Carly).

Odyssey Pets is absolutely fantastic. The variety of top-notch fish and supplements they offer is outstanding. The entire staff, with a special shout-out to John, consistently provides friendly and exceptional service. Their extensive knowledge and experience in working with animals further enhance the overall experience. A must-visit for pet lovers!

Making Odyssey Pets my new go-to store for freshwater aquarium needs. They don't have the biggest selection in North Dallas, but I felt much more comfortable choosing healthy stock from them than other stores. Prices for most everything (particularly amano and neocaridina shrimps) was cheaper as well

Very happy! First time there today. It was clean, everyone was friendly and helpful. I got a bunch of nice plants with a dwarf crawfish and some shrimp! My betta is SO happy! He’s been fairly shy, but swam up to me as soon as I got some of the stuff put in! He’s very happy and so am I!I will totally be back!!

Kirstin has been grooming our dog, Cinder, for a while and we have had nothing but great experiences. Cinder is always excited to see Kirstin and you can tell that she really cares for the dogs she grooms. We definitely would recommend Kirstin!

Great small business pet store! Decent variety, finally found beef liver treats that my dog loves and couldn't find at any of the big stores! Have a great membership program. Had pictures with Santa for your pets!
