I regret to say that my recent experience with Kibble Pet was utterly disappointing and extremely alarming. For instance, not only did the location on Sherry Ln. cancel our appointment for our goldendoodle less than 24 hours in advance, but the treatment we received over the phone was passive-aggressive and unprofessional.The lady claiming to "run the entire company" showed no willingness to accommodate our situation, even after explaining the inconvenience it caused us. Instead, she arrogantly asserted her authority, leaving us with no option for recourse or resolution.Additionally, our goldendoodle was mistaken for another dog and given a completely different haircut than we had asked for. In fact, we specifically mentioned that we wanted a teddy bear cut and that we do not want a poodle cut for him. The incompetence displayed by the groomer, who mistakenly butchered our dog's haircut due to a mix-up with another dog, is simply unacceptable. Furthermore, the lack of professionalism, communication, and ability to take accountability by the receptionist made things worse. Instead, she pointed fingers at the groomer putting all blame on him.To add insult to injury, they called me to pick up my doberman another time because she was barking while waiting to be groomed, displaying a lack of basic understanding of animal behavior.Despite previous experiences, I opted to extend another opportunity to the grooming service. This morning, I scheduled an appointment for my second goldendoodle at The Hill location for 9 am. Upon drop-off, I politely requested that the groomer contact me prior to any trimming should they detect any matting. This precaution stemmed from a prior incident where my pet was shaved without consultation. Groomer Yurie assured me she would comply. However, at 10 am, I received a call indicating they had already shaved the body but encountered matting on the tail and chin, requiring further action. Despite offering to address the issue by brushing out the matting myself or paying for a subsequent visit to complete the service, I was informed I would be charged the full amount for the incomplete service and would need to pay again for any additional work. Notably, the initially scheduled service, inclusive of an XL doodle package plus the essential bundle and doodle fee, was allotted four hours and priced at $180 before taxes and gratuity. Despite this, only one hour was expended, with subsequent claims of insufficient time to fulfill the agreed-upon services unless authorization was granted to shave the pet again, which I declined. Upon swiftly resolving the matting issue myself in under two minutes, I requested Yurie to proceed with the service, which she refused. Declaring my refusal to pay for an incomplete service, I was met with threats of theft charges unless payment was made. Security and law enforcement were subsequently involved. Fortunately, another groomer named Trina demonstrated exceptional professionalism, despite being fully booked, by offering to complete the remaining services for my pet. As Trina attended to my pet, I received communication from Kibble Pet indicating the manager, Molly, had prohibited them from rectifying the cut, despite potential benefits to customer satisfaction and increased revenue.It's evident that Kibble Pet has serious issues with staff retention and customer service. Constantly closing or canceling locations due to staffing problems speaks volumes about their mismanagement and disregard for customer satisfaction.In conclusion, I urge Kibble Pet to reassess their business practices and prioritize treating customers with respect and dignity. Until then, I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone seeking reliable and professional pet grooming services.

I can't believe how much KP Grooming exceeded expectations. My yorkiepoo puppy, Boba, had his first groom today and he couldn't be happier. He was a hairy fluff before, and now he can't stop smiling. I initially called first to gather information in order to understand the process, and not only was the receptionist more than patient and kind with all of my questions, Natalia the groomer even took time away to speak with me in detail about exactly what to expect. She put me completely at ease about the care my pup would receive. I wish I had gotten the receptionists name to specifically thank her too, she and Natalia are the best! THANK YOU KP GROOMING!šŸ–¤

Extremely disappointed with the service provided by Holly. Despite booking my appointment well in advance, it was abruptly canceled less than 24 hours before, with a passive and aggressive response when I expressed my dissatisfaction. The constant turnover of groomers further exacerbated the issue, highlighting the business's inability to maintain a reliable staff. Such inconsistency is unacceptable and reflects poorly on their professionalism. I expected better from a company supposedly dedicated to customer satisfaction.I've brought my dog from Frisco to Dallas to get groomed with Kibble pet for almost 3 yrs. Within the last six months the quality has gone downhill. The manager is rude and should consider her snarky tone and passive remarks when saying "other than me there's the CEO. So pretty much what I say goes"

Our family loves Kibble Pet!! We have a very large chocolate lab with arthritis, and he is always taken care of in the best way. The staff always makes us feel comfortable. Their communication is also really great - they alert us right away when our dog is ready for pickup. AND, he always walks away with the best smell and a lil' bandana - the cherry on top!!

We are so thankful to have found Kibble Pet on Sherry Lane. I just picked up Cubby today and our whole family is all over him with how good he looks and smells. The team is always friendly and professional. Natalia, the groomer listened to my instructions/requests with patience and offered her opinion professionally, whereas at other places they would just nod yes and couldnā€™t wait for me to leave. I feel like Cubby is safe when I leave him there because they are well staffed. I highly recommend Kibble Pet, and we will keep going to Kibble Pet because of the great service and experience.

Even though I read reviews stating similar issues and rating was poorly, I still took them (FOUR). I paid and I get with this...... definitely not recommending and not going back. First time I ever post something, but nowadays social media has become powerful and it can be your friend or your worst enemy. This is my personal experience and opinion, but if you really concern and see ratings, please don't disregard. ("Groomer Bre")Spoke to the ā€œVice Presidentā€ and basically she called me to give me a consultation of what had happened to my dog. A hot spot and that the groomer had nothing to do with it. Itā€™s a wow reaction of the lack of sympathy and way of handling the conversation. Not expecting to pay me back but definitely not letting it slide like nothing happened. She didnā€™t provide her name but I know groomer is Bre. Avoid going here!Responding to the latest reply: I spoke to the ā€œhead groomerā€ and ā€œVice presidentā€, as I requested to speak to a manager. Your consultation about what cause physical injuries are not due to ā€œextremely mattingā€ Regarding other complaints about your facility are aside from what i experienced and I want to assure that your facility did all this to my baby and itā€™s is very easy for you to disregard that two of my pets had cuts in the tip of their ears. One has gone to vet due to this and not because of extreme matting like you want to put it as to avoid the problem. You will have to be very careful when you get dogs ā€œextremely mattedā€ and advise of this issue. I am not sure who I spoke or if youā€™re the owner but it is very clear the lack of sympathy and way of ā€œassistingā€ ā€œresolving my issueā€. This platform hopefully serves as an eye opening for future clients. Thank you for try and making it right but my dog is the one paying for your poor service.

I have been coming to Kibble for 4 years. Today, I received their updated client contract and the first section states that I blanketly relinquish all rights to legal action if they kill my dog. While I would not pursue legal action over an accident (underlying health condition not detected, etc) if my dog passed due to groomer negligence (as we've seen far too many times in Dallas) I would like to have the option on the table... I stated I would be willing to sign an amended contract that does not release the groomer themselves of liability. They declined.I don't have to sign a release at the hair salon that if I die, my family won't potentially pursue legal action (hyperbolic, but shears can slip, who knows)...I will not do it for my dog.Since looking for a new groomer, I have talked to several companies and other groomers that do not have this clause and would be hesitant of a company that does. Unfortunately, I cannot trust or recommend Kibble to other dog parents.*Edit after response: whether or not the clause is old or new is irrelevant, itā€™s concerning. Again, after consulting other local grooming companies, it is not standard practice for it to be such a blanket consent that releases the groomer/company in cases of negligence. Disappointing.

I love this place!! My groomer Yurie is so nice. She takes care of my puppy so well and gives me helpful suggestions for how to keep up between grooming. Highly recommend her. She books up quickly so recommend calling in few weeks in advance and request her.

We had such a great experience here from start to finish. Special shout-out to our groomer Nicole who was so patient and kind with our dog who was a matted stray and has never been groomed before. She spent so much time gaining his trust and he is SO much happier now that he is all cleaned up and free of mats. This was an incredible place with fantastic employees and we will definitely be back! Nicole is the best!

My dogs had an appointment for grooming at 11 oā€™clock. I drop them off at 10:30 I was told that the Yorkie would be the quickest to get done and asked if I wanted to pick her up earlier and I declined. 230 rolled around and I called to check on them with no answer 3 PM rolled around. I called and got no answer so I drove up there and I was told that the Yorkie was not finished. Their new Director of operations brought both of my dogs out. I was shown that my other dog hadnā€™t even been completed or started. The Director of operations then had the balls to start ringing up the haircut for my Yorky and mentioned she was giving me a discount and I think she said the total was $59. Part of me thought that she shouldā€™ve done her job and said Iā€™m sorry we screwed up. Weā€™re not gonna charge you, but I looked at her took $100 bill and tossed at her and told her to keep it and I would never walk through those doors again. That store has a rotating door of employees and is so disorganized I will never walk in ever again.

Recently our dog dot cut in multiple spots including private area- when i called to complain the "Vice president " lady ) came to the phone and she was taught no manners- telling me they cut them because i had let them get matted and it was basically my fault! I have been been going to Kibble Grooming on Sherry Lane for several months and have always received amazing service. Liz and Elizabeth are fantastic. They are so patient and really take the time to walk through what you want for your dog, and will make recommendations based on their expertise. They take such good care of the pups, and my dog always comes home looking (and smelling) amazing! They even include a cute bandana/bow tie every time! I highly recommend Kibble Pet Grooming!

You will LOVE this spot for your doggo! I was able to call and get an appointment the same day, and he was finished in under two hours! Another awesome feature I haven't seen anywhere else - dogs had pens with beds in the front area, not crates/cages behind closed doors! He has some anxiety around new places and grooming especially, but he came out happy and smelling so good. Thank you to everyone who helped us out.

Terrible with big dogs, if you have a golden doodle I do not recommend going to this place. Paid $124 and they only brushed the most visible areas of his fur and left knots around his neck. The fur on his head is significantly shorter than the rest of his body and his paws are very sensitive from over trimming his nails. Worst service possible.

Very disappointed came in with high expectations based off of some of the reviews and pictures took my poodle in for a full groom and I did get the bundle package unfortunately she came back very choppy her top knot was cut very short and uneven. though I definitely paid it didn't appear that they did any thing that came with the bundle her sanitary area was not shaved her ears still had a lot of hair in it and they did not look clean her teeth did not look like they got brushed from what the staff told me she was not difficult so I don't understand why she came back looking like this but she did smell very good and the staff was nice so if you want to pay 106 for a 7 lb dog just for a nice smelling dog and ok staff you should definitely go.

I took my senior shih tzu into Kibble Pet for a groom, and while Iā€™m super cautious in who I trust my pup with, Natalia and the Kibble Pet team put my worries at ease! They were so kind and knowledgeable at my check in, and Ozzy came back looking like such a stud. Will definitely be back!

Took my Pomeranian on the advice of my realtor who highly recommended this place and I couldnā€™t have been happier! The customer service was exceptional which was impressive considering it was our first visit there. The gentleman at the front desk was very informative and had a great demeanor about him. The dog groomer came out to meet my fur baby and spent a little time petting him and making him feel comfortable before taking him back to get all cleaned up! I believe I dropped him off for about 3 hours and was texted when he was ready to be picked up. My Pom smelled and looked amazing and has continued to smell amazing well after his visit! We will definitely be back soon!
