This moving company is the greatest! If I could give them 10 stars, I would. The men who came to move our furniture were very careful and professional. They really knew their stuff. Nothing was damaged, and everything was put in the exact place I wanted it to be. The people in the office were very nice and really knew their stuff as well. I’ve moved several times in my adult life and have never felt so compelled to leave a 100% five star review until now. The guys with Johnson Storage and Moving blew my mind with how quickly and thoroughly they packed my house and loaded the truck in the same day. Arriving at the destination in another state on schedule, they unloaded and assembled my furniture like true professionals, even deflating and folding the inflatable mattress I had been sleeping on while my belongings were in transit. Ron and his team members are legit! - outstanding work ethic, efficient while still being thorough and careful, true gentlemen with refreshing cheerful and positive attitudes. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Johnson moved my household across state lines. They arrived and packed up a lot of boxes and furniture within 4 hours. 2 days later, right when I was ready for it, the items were delivered to my new home and quickly delivered. Overall a good moving experience.

Wonderful experience overall. Driving/loading crews were great in all respects. Professional, efficient, courteous, etc. Only issue was with the subcontracting packing firm. Supervisor is spread too thin and has too many sites to deal with at the same time. Spent minimal time at our home, the result was that some of the packers did not get the instructions we gave to him and made errors in packing, leaving some items unpacked and not packing other items correctly. The supervisor had to come the next morning and fix their errors. He should have been present more throughout the day, and certainly should have been present at the end of the packing before the crew was discharged.

We used this moving service to move from Texas to Illinois. The whole process was super easy and we had no issues. The truck was always on time or early. The driver was super flexible, friendly, and professional. He was always in communication with me so I knew exactly when the truck was going to arrive at the new house. My wife and I used Johnson Storage and Moving earlier this month for a local move. It was the best moving experience either one of us have ever had. Not only were the movers both timely and professional, but the customer service and follow-up from the main office was second-to-none. I have used different moving companies before as a customer. As a real estate agent, I have also helped coordinate moves for clients. I would gladly recommend this company to anyone. A perfect move! This was a fantastic move. I moved from Dallas to the Seattle area during winter. The packing team was fantastic. I had a lot of high value art and many very delicate breakables. They took extra care and attention in insuring that everything was packed very well. They completed the pack in one day, both my home and storage area. Kirk was spot on with the quote. The moving teams on both sides of my move were unbelievable. They moved in the rain in Dallas and my driver Reggie, maneuvered through many snowy mountain ranges to get my belongings safe to Seattle in perilous driving conditions. The teams took great care of not only my stuff, but in my home making sure the walls were wrapped and the floors had runners on them to protect them from the elements. This is my 6th cross-country move, and by far the best experience I had. Great teams, excellent customer service and my stuff came through unscathed! I highly recommend this company!

I used Johnson Moving and Storage for my last move. Without getting into all the details of the move; I'll say it was a bad overall experience. This was an expensive move And I knew that it would be. One of the issues I had was damage to my furniture. Some cabinets were damaged beyond repair plus a table leg was completely broken. The amount I submitted in my claim was about $800.00. My claim was rejected because it was submitted 8 days after the deadline. I responded to that rejection with a letter detailing the many other problems we had, some of which never were resolved. I suggested that after me paying them over $10,000. on this move they might waive the late clause (which I was not aware of, my ignorance), and honor my claim. I never received a reply.

From the initial estimates with Kirk, to the packing and storage and then moving support with Chrissy, everything about our move was too-notch and professionally completed. I was extremely impressed with the movers they were very professional, polite, punctualand were cognizant of items that needed special care.I appreciated that both gentlemenworked diligently, in a timely manner with patience and care.Both gentleman worked well together the lead mover was respectful and specific with hisdirections when speaking to his associate as they moved and lifted many heavy items.This is by far the best and really only good experience I have had with a moving company.From the beginning it went wellJohnson storage and moving sent representative to my home to give an estimate and assured me that it would not go over the amount quoted and it did Not!That alone is unprecedented.In the past the company's I have used always have a surprise bill at the end with reasons that claim the office did not quote it correctly or some double talk regarding mileage.In the last 5 years I've had to move three times and it is always stressful finding a good moving company, I would definitely use Johnson Storage and Moving in the future I believe the company does a great job screening and qualifying their movers . Specifically I would request the movers I used they were an excellent team, however if they weren't available I would definitely have confidence with whoever they would send since my experience here from start to finish was a good one! :-)

The only extra charges we got where from the 3rd party who crated and uncrated our tv's...They claimed we hadn't paid a bill when we did...The move went great only a few small things broke but I could have packed them better. We did loose 1 box though of important kitchen items I will have to rebuy now. But overall the actual move went well and would use again! United has a do not go over price and they did not! They inventoried like crazy but this way no unexpected charges come up.

It took four full days to carefully pack my uncle's precious (i.e., breakable and pricey) belongings. His belongings and furniture filled two 26-foot moving trucks. The team that handled the bulk of the packing and unloading were professional, caring, and hard working. Karl, Rudy, and Anthony were absolute rock stars!The process was lengthy and there were 262 company-packed boxes in various sizes that were used for the job. The unloading process was also lengthy as it took nearly 9 hours!I will be forever grateful that the general manager, Mitch Putnam, stepped in to help his employees finish the job. He even brought in his assistant manager to help with the packing of crystal and glass. My customer service representative, Chrissy Gregath, virtually held my hand every step of the way and treated me so well.Now that I am in the process of unpacking my uncle's belongings, I am highly impressed with how carefully each item was wrapped. I had a great experience with Johnson Moving.. I have moved several times across the country using different moving companies and this was definitely the most dedicated group of workers. I had 10 place settings of china/delicate items and not a single one was broken. They really made an effort to protect my stuff, I would recommend them to anyone looking for a moving service!!!

Excellent movers. I was moving from Texas to Wisconsin. Michael showed up a day early to inventory and even packed some boxes on the truck. The next day he worked alone for several hours loading the truck quickly and efficiently. The company worked with me and got my belongings to Wisconsin very quickly. I would recommend them to anyone needing a moving company.

Rob and his team communicated effectively on timing of move, worked hard, knew where everything went or asked, did not damage anything, protected the house and cleaned up afterward. This company is HORRIBLE!!!!! They handled our move 10 miles down the road and it was a nightmare from the start! The two crews they sent to our house argued and used profanity toward each other while they were in our home, they damaged MULTIPLE pieces of furniture because they didn't wrap our furniture (even though we were told they would wrap everything) and their regional manager that was in from Colorado had to come in his business suit to our home and help finish the job because they did not send a crew who had proper experience moving a baby grand worth $10K even though that was the first question I asked when getting a quote. To top off a very difficult 2 days of moving they are now not responding to us when we are trying to get our furniture repaired and replaced (the completely snapped a storage cabinet in half) . We paid the extra insurance on our valuables and now they are not taking care of all the items they damaged (and like I said the regional manager was at our house and assured us we would get our furniture taken care of). It has been over 2 months since our move and still not resolved. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!

Unprofessional!!This company is at Public Storage moving out their customer. I'm in the unit directly next to their customers' unit and I have my own movers. They have 15 boxes piled high in front of my storage door and refused to move them. He tells me, "I understand all of that but I have a job to do too." I started kicking their boxes out of the way and the workers started to verbally attack me. I had to threaten to call the police and mace them for them to back off.Their move should in no way disrupt anyone else's move. If someone tells you that you're blocking their storage unit that they're paying for, you should promptly move out of the way. I waited 20 minutes for them to move the boxes before kicking them out of the way. I don't recommend anyone to use them. Two men 100+ pounds heavier than me and at least 6" taller than me verbally attacked a woman!

The driver of our truck was excellent! He was at our home to pick up when he said he would be. He kept in contact with us and was at our new home when he said he would be. He and his son were extremely careful with our stuff and put boxes in the room we requested. VERY PLEASED WITH THEM!

If this is the right company, Im sure it is..I was at first surprised of how well mannered they were when arriving to pack our home for a PCS( Military move) after home was boxed we started noticing some things we werent happy about but shorty after decided ot was not worth mentioning. After the movers came.and packed the truck we were impressed. Fast and hard working gentleman. After we.moved.and the HHG arrived at our home.in OK, we noticed a few damges. The. Once looking closely we noticed all the inaccurate codes they use. They mark everything as badly worn to.prevent accountable actions against them. The only proof I have is from.text messages. If used they mark W as badly worn. Problem is, we have brand new furniture that isn't worn at all and if was showing wear or damage we'd have nothing to hold them accountable. Things happen. Sure. But this is dishonest. Pay attention to your inventory. My brother works for moving company and told me of the things he had seen when working. Added weight, why they code a certain way etc. This company does the same...dishonest. filing claim now.

The team that performed my move was very professional and i did not have anything damaged or broken.New house had some tight areas and that was quite the feat to have nothing affected.
