I took my dog to Furry Tails and this was the end result as see in the photos. My dog eye lids were swollen and his eyes were bloodshot red. The manager told me that he was pulling on the leash while being groomed and that his eyes should be fine within 3 days. I don't believe him. I left their establishment and immediately took my dog to the vet. My question is why didnt she stop and call me. This led me to believe that this may have happened to someone elses dog before. I asked the manager if there were cameras installed in their facility that will validate their explanation I was told no.My dog has not been the same since I took him to Furry Tails to be groomed. He took responsibility for what their technicians negligence, however, they didn't check on my fur baby to see if he was okay. I had to bring their lack of sympathy and follow-up.to his attention.They need to install cameras in this facility because trust goes both ways. I never expected to pick up my dog and see him looking abused. Usually, he's energetic but this time he seemed distraught. He layed down once we got inside the car.I am leaving this review to ensure this never happens to another dog.

I absolutely hate leaving bad reviews but I just couldn’t stay silent. After doing my research on places to get my dog groomed I decided to give this establishment a chance since overall they had positive reviews so I don’t understand what went wrong or if it was the groomer assigned to work this past Saturday but my dog has FIVE cuts throughout his body. The 2 that are in the photo, 1 below his genitals and 1 behind each ear. For me, that’s unacceptable, I can understand one but FIVE that’s just negligence, unprofessionalism and simply wrong. It was my first time with y’all and best believe it will be my last.

Before and after pics! We love furry tails and the quality they give! Not only do they do the best grooming in North Dallas, but they are the most affordable too! I’ve been to 3-4 other groomers in north dallas and Furry Tails is our fave!

Our dog Reign loves furry tails and we love being able to take her here to get a nice grooming and be socialized waiting for us to pick her up. Reign is hyperactive despite the hours of swimming and running she does everyday, so she can definitely be a handful at times. However, the staff always handles her with care and she comes out with a huge smile on her face and a cute bandana. One negative of Furry Tails my husband and I have noticed is lack of communication with Furry Tails. They never answer our calls whether it’s too book and appointment or check for same day availability. Usually when they get back to us, I’ve noticed it takes a while and sometimes days to return the call. It’s frustrating to deal with the booking side of things. I understand they are taking care of a lot there, but days without a call back & continuous times without an answer is not great communication practice. Overall, we love Furry Tails and Reign does as well, so we hope this communication issue can be resolved. Throw us a bone and call back please! 🐾

I highly recommend! Staff is so nice and caring. I brought my beloved dog Ayla in for a much-needed bath and grooming, and I'm absolutely blown away by the results. She's now completely unrecognizable, in the best way possible! The team at this grooming service went above and beyond to make her look and feel her absolute best. I couldn't be happier with the exceptional care they provided. Ayla and I are beyond grateful!

I have been taking my golden doodle Teddy here for a little less than a year. We do all of our grooming, daycare and boarding here as Teddy has pretty bad separation anxiety. Furry Tails is truly the best! Teddy is always so excited to see everyone. I work a lot and have a lot of work trips and he never seems upset when he knows he’ll be there. They are great about sending photos and videos while I’m away. They also don’t use crates and every dog has it’s own little room. They are also really flexible and always very patient with my questions or when I can’t remember dates. I never worry when he is at Furry Tails because I know he’s having fun and being well looked after. I highly recommend them especially for doodle hair cuts! Teddy always comes home looking so cute!!

We love Furry Tails! We have used them for boarding and grooming. They have always taken such good care of our Golden Retriever. The staff know her by name, she comes home happy, healthy, and smelling good. The business does not have a webcam (they are working on it!) but they will gladly send you photos and videos of your baby!

My pup loves coming here!! He is a large golden doodle so he needs regular grooming and I am so thankful I found Furry Tails!!! They do the best job out of all of the groomers I have taken my boy to.

My first Experience was great! The customer service they give is excellent very professional, friendly and kind. I will definitely be coming back. My Dog was super happy when I arrived, he usually is very upset at me when I leave him at another grooming place. Oh and price is great!

After a grooming place refused to groom my 9 month old dog because they said she won’t stay still, I was so worried that no one else would groom her. It turned out that (PetSmart) lied.Fury tails had no trouble whatsoever getting her groomed.I really enjoyed the service I received here and the place was so clean.It’s very hard to find an early reservation because they have so many customers. The best is to try to book in advance.I’ve found a permanent groomer for my Duchess (she’s a 7lbs Havanese)

If you are planning to treat your furry friend, Definitely I recommend Furry Tails for your grooming. It was my first time here, when I arrived, I was greeted, the staff was very courteous and Knowledgeable. Most importantly this place is spotless. Giovi is a Bichon Frise, he looked adorable after his grooming. For sure I'll return. You should give it a try. You and your furry friend will love it.

It’s been awhile but finally decided to leave a review.. My dog scratched her skin until it bleeds all over starting after grooming from here….:( my doctor friend said it seems like an allergic reaction.. i told them she has sensitive skin but this happened. very upsetting and will never go back.

Took my dog for the first time to Furry Tails for a nail trim and ear cleaning. Great staff and even better services. My vet has always done her mail trimming since she was a puppy and has struggled at the bet to let them trim her nails. It was always a fight between her and the vet. At Furry Tails she went in and came out in no time with the BEST mail trim of her life. Definitely will be coming back here from now on.

I will definitely be returning here with Corduroy! My dog usually gets very stressed for days when she goes in for grooming elsewhere (and there has been sure signs of stress), but the ladies at Furry Tails took care of my little girl very well! Even though Roy can be feisty and gets spooked easily, the ladies were thorough and very calm when they took her in. It was reassuring to see that Corduroy was showered with love and care. Roy is currently smelling nice and her coat is ready for the upcoming heat of spring/summer. Also, I'm thinking of sending my pupster for daycare sometime, which I am excited to try out!

I love this place. The staff here are very friendly with both people and pets. My cat can be very finicky when getting his nails trimmed, but the staff keeps him calm and does a great job. I would definitely recommend it to other people who want to get their pets looked after. As for my cat, Buddy, he gives this place two paws up.

I took my baby Girasol to Furry Tails for the very first time today. I can’t say enough about this place. The employees are very welcoming, they ask questions to make sure they do the best job they can do according to your wants. Girasol was in at 10:30 and out by 1:00. She was super happy, looked absolutely beautiful, she got a bandana, and she also got a yummy treat! We are definitely coming back. Thank you 💚

I love this place. My dog Louis has been there 3 times in the last month for different services. Even though staff is really busy, they always try to fit him in. My dog has only been away for me once and with this being only the second time, I am so grateful to have found a place that I trust with his care. Thanks Furry Tails!!!

Fantastic place! I can’t say enough good things about Furry Tails. For boarding & grooming I have only had wonderful experiences with them. I have a little senior dog who can be a little delicate and they do such a great job of taking care of her. Finding a place you trust with your pet is difficult and I’m so happy I found Furry Tails! I know when I drop my dog off that she’s being taken care of by their considerate staff. I’ve been using their services for about 2 years now and I would 10/10 recommend!

We just moved to Texas in May, every month since the short time we been here I been very happy with your service. Till today, as I dropped of my dogs for grooming service there was a lot of confusion on how to use the computer system, then as I picked them up I asked about your boarding services as I plan to go out of town at the end of the month. I asked to see your boarding facilities. I care a lot about my dogs, since I plan to go out of town. But she look at me like I was crazy, Oriantal girl, then the Salvadoran girl she’d up a said that there were to many dogs to tour the facility. Hate to say you lost my boarding and grooming business

Best grooming results ever oh my gosh! My bichon frise, Hachiko, was getting his birthday hairdo and they made him look better than the Caesar dog! ☺💕 all for a reasonable price.

Ahhhh! My ollie boy came out so good! He is SUPER CURLY (weeniepoo more poo than ween) and was a teeny bit matted...but they did such a nice job and he got a little bandana! And he smelled so good too! The staff wasnt too chatty when I came in and a few stray pups at puppycare greeted us but I didnt mind. Surprisingly affordable for what I have been charged for my little guy. I dropped him off at 11 and had him back around 2 so great turn around time! Totally going back!

Been going here for years for our large German Shepherd. He has a lot of fur and a thick coat so we go for deshed between seasons. Furry Tails has always given us exceptional service. My dog comes back fluffy, clean, and smells fantastic. They even give him a bonus bandana that gives him a cute look! For a dog that is usually anxious around other specialists, he comes back very happy. If you are looking for a pet friendly groomer, this is the place to go. Great value and service!

Today I took my dog for a trim. They took great care of him and he was super shaggy before the cut. After we picked him up he had a nice short cut and everything was perfect. I would highly recommend this place for dog grooming! ❤️

Took my dog in for a bath service with deshedding. When I picked her up there was fur steadily coming off of her. I asked what to expect with the deshed bath and I was told about 60% less shedding around the house, so I assumed this was just loose after her initial bath. After getting home she continued to have a lot of shedding. I know she is a high shed breed and this service is not a miracle worker. But, I returned to the facility and explained my concerns and the office manager expressed his apologies for the services not being provided with upmost quality. They are advocating for the pets and customers by relieving and hiring groomers as appropriate who exemplify their standards, which I can appreciate. I have since talked to the office manager again who reached out to further alleviate my concerns for the care and services provided. It is evident they pride themselves on quality work and have gone on to refund for this service provided.
