Contacting the GM J. Rivas will not get things done faster in this store. He doesn't really care about nothing but money. Will fire you for nothing at all, what "he feels has been done".For those that ask about the employee, we are not here anymore. Me, and 4 others have been fired. I would not recommend to go to this store or the one on Beckley Ave. Do not apply to either.

I work next door from this Family Dollar, I always go to get sandwiches for lunch and gotta say that the staff there is really nice and friendly, specially the puertorican lady I forgot her name but my compatriot is always sweet and helpful 🙂

You are better off driving further to another location. Shelves are 75% empty, store is closed on random days at random times, and the cashiers are slow and would rather chat up the customers than scan faster.

This place had been closed for a while. Why? We don't know, since reopening it hasn't been fully stocked. You walk in and are greeted by employees and loud blaring rap music. However you have to remember where you are, the Highland Hills Area. I'm cheering for them to improve.

Disorganized and Messy Location, Things out of order and Left in Boxes on the Floor, Rude Customer Service , needs better training on how to greet and treat Customers, Stop placing Items behind the Cashier's such as Air fresheners and Deodorant and place where the Customers can see and Purchase them. This Store needs Immediate Attention from Their Corporate Office, Stop allowing this Store to go down like this Because it's Considered to be in the Oak Cliff area... Do Better by your Customers , Be a Better Business Establishment.

The employees are friendly. The items overall are a bit more than other FDs and they tend to run out of staples. At times line can be long due to them not consistently having more than one register open. But again I say the employees are helpful, nice and efficient as they can be. THAT is most important to me.

I can't even get into the store because they allow homeless to squat AT THE DOOR!!! Come on now, no way this would occur in other neighborhoods. I've reached out to their corporate office but no follow-up. It's fine I'll take my money to a store I can enter without having to step over someone and their personal belongings.

The shelves are stocked nicely. I never have a problem finding what I am looking for. I just wish that the cashiers would look and act like they are blessed to have a job and want to be there to do it. They either look like they got called in on their day off or just plain don't ask me any questions, just put your stuff on the counter and give me your money so you can get the heck out. This store manager need to either find people that want to work or have a sensitivity class. Wow is all I can say because I have been in some kind of customer service half my life and even when you know people don't care for you they still manage to smile because that is your job. Working in public or behind the scenes if you don't like your job for whatever reason you need to quit and find something you might like, but this isnt it. There is always a line of people and 1 cashier working up front I just don't get it. This store needs restructuring badly.

The store is much better now clean. Cashiers are so nice and helpful, glad they stop playing that music. They have shopping carts nowI stop going. But now. A big difference .love it. Keep up the great work

Horrible customer service. The employees are LAZY. There has been times that I have went in there; they are fully staffed and still only have one register open. It’s ridiculous. There has been a time that I have went and they left a new employee in there by herself without being properly trained while the other employee signed off their register to go outside and flirt with girls. They never know where anything is. Poorly trained, poor customer service. The only reason I go the is because it’s the only local store within the radius of my house. Just because we’re in the hood doesn’t mean we have to keep the hood mentality. Let’s do better please.

It was stocked and ready to go! Cleaning supplies, medications, hand sanitizers and sprays, I mean everything. They do have the 6 ft tags on the floor not that ppl seem to follow them unless you say something. Very nice and clean. Customer services is alright.. All in all its close to me so I will be back... Oh its near food places!

The outside of this store, the parking lot & sides of the building are atrociously NASTY. WHY is that? Is it because this location is in a low income area? Just Nasty. The inside was relatively clean & orderly & the staff was very helpful. I plan Never to return. Our neighborhood deserves better. I hope to find a # to call to report this NASTINESS!!!!

The employee at this store refused to sell cigarettes to my 66 year old client, stating he needed to provide an I D. Employee should have common sense. He has never had to provide ID as it's obvious as to his age. This is very disturbing.

Being at the location doesn't have a grocery store I think they would do good if they could just stay open there never open and this is unfortunate for the people that live here and they're building apartments not too far from this location this is a travesty who's the manager can y'all keep employees I've never seen a store or open maybe two days out of the week now they never open please can somebody do something we need to stop I'll see about writing a congressman

This is a shame. There no grocery stores are nothing. This store is never open. Who is the General Manager of this store. I went there today and it wasn't even open. At 3:00 pm today. This just shows you have the city cares about us. Get t together people.

People that work there are very cheery considering they don't get paid in $$'s or benifits... they have to take ridicule and abuse from people with very low IQs and very bad attitudes so I've been very happy with all of the young people that have tried to make a go of it there. I've been very appreciative of you and I wish you all the best. the store needs to be enlarged there's stuff all over the floors which is a danger to employees as well as visitors they should be concerned with our perhaps they are not concerned with lawsuits or personal injury claims more than a shoplifting in my opinion perhaps if it was clear you can see the shoplifters easier

The a/c is constantly broken even in the summer. It's not in the best neighborhood, so it seems like FD would step up and provide proper security so that the unit doesn't get stolen every month (is what the employees say) poor customer service 70% of the time, store looks dirty 95% of the time

I was amazed at how packed with customers they were on a Saturday night. Then on all the isle they were stacked up with Christmas treats and gifts everywhere. The workers have their job cut out for them they've got a lot of stacking to do. Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year.

Convenience store? What a joke.No carts or baskets to carry your items in, which suggests that you should only get one item (I suppose).If you get 4 or 5 items, you will stand in an extremely long line while juggling those items as you wait on the one person checking you out while observing the other 4 or 5 employees standing around gossiping and laughing as loud as possible.The absolute worst customer service!

I felt very unsafe going in and coming out. There are always people hanging out in the parking lot & standing around the door. I would like to patronize businesses in my neighborhood but if this is how the management runs their store, I won't be shopping here and will be telling everyone I know not to shop here.

Always have a long line at the register even when fully staffed. Also don't go when schools are out always fights in the entrance with kids and then they start harassing customers as your walking out of the store, and even during the day there is a lot of people just harassing you for money and they don't even say anything to them.

The cashier was very rude when I pressed the cash back option requesting $25 on the debit card machine there was two signs listed on it stating cash back option. Then there was a sign on the Plex glass with a handwritten sign that said no cash back. When I selected the $25 cash back option the cashier tells me that that was a problem because they don't offer cash back. I stated well I've made a $20 purchase so I don't understand why I can't get cash back it would be a difference if I came in and bought something that cost a dollar or less and requested cash back the cashier got nasty with me saying this is a big sign sitting right here you can't read. I said yes just like I can read the sign that's on the debit payment machine that says that I can receive cash back, so I'm confused which is it? I then took pictures of both signs and asked him what which one is it because you're making me confused would you like me to take the sign off of the debit card machine or do you want to take the sign down off the Plex glass that says no cash back.

No hand carts or push carts. If you worked before in circus or as a waiter and can hold all your purchase in hand, this is a golden opportunity for you. Place is quite dirty. But prices are super high..

The lines are always long; even though there are 4 registers normally only one is open. Be prepared to hold your items in your hands! The store does not have many baskets.

This Family Dollar is one of the most disorganized, poorly managed stores that I have patronized. The cashiers are slow and unconcerned. The store is always in some degree cluttered and in disarray. There is an absence of professionalism and good work ethics exhibited by most employees.

This is the worse family dollar I have ever been in... I have never written a review before, but I had to say somthing about this store hoping that management would see and address. The store is GHETTO and unprofessionally supervised and the employees are young and PLAY a lot during buisness hours. Stood in check out line with only four people for almost 15 mins. Every other family dollar says "welcome" when you come in. NOT HERE, they actually seem to hope that no one comes in at all.
