I recently visited family Dollar 8550 S Polk st. Dallas Tx 75237 @ 6p 07/31/23 the customer service I received from this family dollar in particular is very good. It’s very clean & they stay stocked. But recently while in line I witnessed the tall elderly off-duty officer make very women of color remove her purse/bags to place it at the front register.The reason I give them one star and why I won’t be going back is because I also watched as Hispanic and white women walk pass the off -duty officers but they were not instructed to remove their bags/purses.

Today I was at family dollar 8550 S Polk St. Dallas Tx 75237 around 6 the old officer was making all the black women remove their bags but he didn’t make the Hispanics or white woman remove their bag's . This family is right across the street from the sheriffs office by the way , If anyone was planning on stealing they wouldn’t do it right across the street from the sheriffs office he just discriminating against black women.

The hours say 10 pm is there closing time. We showed up at 9:44 and they were closed. Last time we went at 9:30 same thing closed already. Seems like they close when they feel like it.

FANTASTIC!!This dude they call “dolf,” best dude there. Super friendly, super nice, knows where everything is. Kinda cluttered store but pretty neat, it’s got what you need!This lady Jasmin is a lil grumpy a lot but that’s all right, pretty friendly staff, good store.

Very Racist!! They speak different languages when you approach the counter so you don’t understand! Never friendly I always have to explain over and over what I need.. They seem to only understand Hispanics! I’ve had the manger Brittany talk nasty to me at the cash register. Spoke about my age etc with my children with me. This is by far the WORSE family dollar store on this side of town!!!

I like this Family Dollar because the employees are friendly and helpful. The only thing I am not too fond of, is that there is always boxes all throughout the store aisles, making it incredibly difficult to even get close to what I'm shopping for. Perhaps stocking should be done at an earlier or later time in the day, because with it being around dinner time, I probably would have grabbed something to cook and a few more things if I would have been able to get to them. For the most part though, this Family Dollar is definitely higher up on my list then some. And thank you to the gentleman who stands at the door. Your kindness goes a long way, sir, and it's much appreciated after a hard day. Thank you!

The staff let me put things I had bought from other stores behind the counter. Everything was in the bags when I left. Staff is very approachable even when they're tired. Love this store.

Well over all I enjoy going to family dollar but since the virus I haven't been able to get state I'd & I'm 65 years old & I can't even buy cigerettes in you guys store so now I might have to seek to another convience store. But Oh Well

I have been living by this Family Dollar for a long time today was my first time ever going in here. Man it has a lot of stuff in here like really clutter and it was a little bit dark in there and stuff. I don't think I'll be going back to this one. One thing I can say the staff was very friendly
