I know people you're going to look at the pictures and you're going to say this is a bad place. Truly they're trying to service people in a bad neighborhood with the products everybody uses 🧦👕. I went into this location for very simple things and found multiple items way cheaper 💵 at this location then Kroger's or Tom Thumb💰. I was going to give a bad 🤔 review. When I was standing in line for like 20 minutes because there was some old ladies in front of me and they were just having a good time talking and wasting the cashier patience 😂 but I cannot give a bad review when the person at the door as I was exiting wish me a good day with a smile 😁 when I get a chance I definitely will be going back here to shop daytime only 🤫🤣

Horrible location!The management/employees are unprofessional and rude. When you walk into the store, they just STARE at you and act like they’re upset they have to work. They don’t greet you or offer any type of assistance!The last time I went, the employees stood behind the counter talking about BS while several people were waiting to be checked out. GHETTO!Additionally, the store is a MESS! It’s never organized and the layout doesn’t make sense. They leave junk laying around everywhere. I’ve visited this location several times throughout the day. It’s messy morning, noon, and night!

I love Family Dollar, I'm surrounded by at least 4 store locations within no more than 5 miles of my home! If one doesn't have what you're looking for; the other locations are guaranteed to have what you want. 👍🏾

Suppose to close at 10 however we got there at 9:30 and they were already closed! Definitely an inconvenience for buyers!

Got here around 8:15 and all the doors were locked. No one would come to the door either. If you don't open at 8, the hours need to be changed.

Everything is out of place and overpriced but it looks like someone didn't stop in time and ran their car through the front, unfortunately it is in a bad part of town (or so I have been told) and is broken into constantly. They are not open after dark so they are usually closed by 8pm. The staff are great though, very friendly and helpful. Not snappy and putout acting when asked for price checks or where something is.

Bought items at 3129 grand ave that were priced at 2 bags of tostitos chips for 6.50 , they were actually 4.95 eachAlso crush soda 2 litres are advertised on shelf for 1.25 each they were actually 2.50 eachWhen asked for manager to help with the ordeal I was told by the poorly dressed security that had on flip flops that he didn't know, when he was seen in managers office with her and her mom and sibling.I was approached and confronted outside by the manager, the security and her mom and sibling for what I said to the security. I proceeded to tell the supposed manager about my issue and was disregarded because the security and her mom wanted to argue and pick a fight, then try and force me to leave.This type of behavior in not appropriate and they are stealing from customers . The whole staff should be fired and the company need to fix the issues or other issues will ensure. I also will contact my credit card company and file a claim to have my money refunded . False advertising is a serious crime unprofessionalism should be countered with termination. This is the main issue and problem with south dallas family dollars. Not worth having in the neighborhood

This family dollar is closed before closing time. It’s literally 9:38pm. They are suppose to close at 10AM. Doors are literally locked.

I do not recommend this store by no means what so ever, I only go because it is close to my home and then I even regret it. This visit was pleasant but I can't speak for every other visit because it hasn't been. There's no consistency on Customer Service at all, safety is an issue and inventory is definitely a problem. Employee friendlier, Real Professional Customer Service Reps and people who actually care about People. Please and Thank you. Common Sense and Courtesy would be nice...

O have never been into a family dollar that was as empty as this one. One door had cardboard over it and the other one had wood. The casier was friendly. The manager and another employee was sitting in the office gossipping about different people. I felt sorry for the cashier he was swamped.

Store is never open they take personal breaks and lock the door all the time they say it closes at 10 pm but the employees close it at 8:30 pm went there yesterday at 1 pm doors locked need to close this location down asap

I began shopping at the store on Grand St and had positive experiences from 2009 until 2013. All employees were pleasant and helpful, and the variety of merchandise was surprising for the size of the store. Prices are reasonable for the quality of items. The only person who. I had a problem with is the manager, he would stop employees who were trying to assist customers search for specific items. I still live in the area, but I stopped shopping at the store.

Decent service. I walked in and needed a fan they were able to pull one from the back. It was expensive but it was for my fair workers so I got it. Also got good info on an antenna for my office. It works well. Very personable service quick in and out.

I got caught shop lifting there for 3 items . And there were two black guys running the floor the they were a perfect 10Well 0 tells 1 to look in my bag. And as 1 removed the 3 items from my bag he stole something out of my purse. Really. Ay number 1 two wrongs don't make a right. How you gonna go steal something from a woman's purse. It's not like I was stealing from you personally. So I don't understand why you took it so personal that you had to steal something out of my purse something that I personally paid for. So do you get like a lil party or a star by your name or something for calling me out? Cuz I know fa sho you ain't getting paid any extra for it. Or maybe it just makes y'all sleep better at night

I have had several great experiences when coming into this family dollar only because of Levy she is so kind and helpful I will only come to this location because of her I have never ever experienced such professionalism and genuine consideration for human beings the way I have with her if this world was filled with the level of customer service she has provided the world would be a phenomenal place to be also I truly believe levy attitude deserves her a promotion or raise of some sort other employees should learn and take notes from a her because no one's attitude and service matches hers without her this location would not survive thank you for hiring levy family dollar!

This place is an awesome start thanks to the remodel everything is neat and organized Erica is the manager there and it is the best store that I will go to I will drive across town just to go to that store because the other one on Hatcher Avenue is not worth going because it is so unorganized and disgusting and dirty but I will not shop there anymore I will try will cost him to go to the one on Grand Avenue Erica is at because I know her store is clean everything is well put together an organized and put away where it needs to be there is a lot of people there to answer questions as well some of them are rude with allergies but the rest of them are willing to help some act like they don't do their job at all

No public bathroom. I was checked out while the guy watched a music video. He didn’t even acknowledge us... pressed buttons and ripped the receipt and handed it to me without looking. Another lady behind the counter had a whole conversation on her phone. Store looked unkept. I guess I’m just mad I had to hold my pee while spending money.. only reason I was in this neighborhood was to try the Southside steak and cakes place...

Very bad shopping experience almost all the time is stress is closed, on cashier had a an attitude raised her vice at me coz their was a long line of customers and they couldn't handle the pressure I recommend dont shop at this family dollar
