Elrods looks a little 1960s and worn from the outside. It’s part of small chain. Would have been a bit leery about going in, but a local had high praises for price and inventory. Once you enter, as if via a portal, it is really nice. Fresh produce as displayed looks like they are serious about grocery business. Both times I’ve been there, it had lots of customers. Mostly families.Floors, shelves of food were well kept. Staff are pretty friendly, though not overly. Nice little surprise in Pleasant Grove, part of Dallas. Well worth a trip for groceries. The outside could use a make-over, but once you’ve been there, it’s no concern.

Never had any issues until they hired a girl named Mari Cruz. Mari is rude and acts like she doesn't wanna do her job. He attitude stinks. I had to sack my own groceries four times. I really don't know why she is still employed there. You guys need to get rid of her , her attitude really is unprofessional and seriously rude

Store prices are great compared to other stores. Store is always clean. This morning cashier Thania didn’t greet us upon going to her register to be checked out. She was busy talking to colleagues. Once she finished ringing us up she never once said how much the bill was, just kept talking to her colleagues. Apparently she doesn’t have any customer service skills. She needs to be at the back of the store away from customers if she can’t get her customer service skills up to par.

Great store would gave it an 5 star only gave it an 3 star because the worker that's works there in the morning the short dark skin black girl has an very nasty attitude when you get in her line because you have a lot of groceries ..... If you don't like your job then you should quit or find another job but don't get mad at customers because they come to shop and buy a lot of groceries... this is the location in pleasant GroveEdit post her name is keraAnd I spent $500 dollars at this store

They make it seem cheap because of the discounts, but at the end u pay more than what u would at other stores. They dont just charge for the state tax, but they also charge their own tax which is rediculously high! I had got cat food there which was $3.50. After the state tax and their tax it came out to almost $6. That is redicous! So they charged me over $2 tax for one item that was only $3.50. Smh. Will never shop there again.

The prices was good but when you check out they added 426 to my total of 23.00 made it a total of 27.00 which I don't like I rather pay more then have more money added so I rather pay the taxes on my groceries instead of adding extra money to my total wasn't impress at all I guess that why it called Cost Plus lol

Awesome experience. Best store to go to, so organized and clean. And don’t get me started on those workers. If I had to choose the best looking ones, I would definitely choose Kayla and Amy (should definitely get a raise).

As a former employee, I wouldn’t recommend this place of employment to anyone. Favoritism is blatantly key to a good experience. They will overwork you and expect you to push yourself for $8? As mentioned, if you’re not a favorite, good luck getting promoted, or a raise for that matter. Don’t get me started on the unprofessionalism some of the managers exude by getting romantically involved with their workers. Again, the latter being a key to having a “good” experience at such place where everyone is “family”. Nonetheless, prices are insane. Anyone thinking they’re getting a good deal, good luck is all I have to say😁 HR is clearly not well involved when it comes to its employees work environment and ethics.

This is a great grocery chain. They recently did upgrades at this location. Looks great! Prices are reasonable and affordable. The store employs a lot of young individuals. Home grown family style business. Nice location plenty of fruit and vegetable selection.

This store had a lot more than I expected! Great values but I hate the add-ons at the register. Its a fairly clean and neat store. Store was packed with fresh fruit and veggies in the produce. The meat department was well stocked too.... Nothing looked old (I 💟 that). Although quite, the cashiers were pleasant. I will shop again and recommend... But those add-ons ... Man!!!!

It was all good until I got to checkout. I was paying for my groceries and ants were crawling on pay machine. I told the cashier and "she stated she was not surprised." Then the screen said use your membership card and I asked the cashier to look it up and she stated: "oh we don't use that anymore."Why is it still on the machine and they charge you a fee for shopping in their store. Will be my last visit there.

They advertise good sales prices throughout the store but then tax the hell out of you as well as add an additional store tax. Using a calculator & pricing each item according to sales advertised. My total was approximately 68.78, however after ringing up items i totaled out at $90+. Wal-Mart pr Fiesta it is from now on! Then they didn't sack majority of my items.

Always have fresh fruit and vegetables. I come here cause they always have really good avocados. Well stocked and found everything I was looking for. Great job Elrod's Cost Plus. P.S. the corns from the corn guy in the front door are really good.

Pleasant Grove Dallas Texas store. We've been shopping there for over 25 years. I still think that they have the best prices on fresh vegetables and fruit. Their meat selections are still much lower in price than any other store around. Even with their percent added in, I think we get the best prices on most everything. I don't do 100% of my shopping there but for a great majority I do.

Call the meat department, very good customer service. Ask for a price check on the pork shoulder, he answer honestly at a very low price at .98 a pound. Went in person to buy as he stated to find at a low price. Awesome service! Even a lady at the meat department help me to my question. Thank you! 👍😊

This store is excellent It is Well stocked from top to bottom there is so much in the store as far as the vegetables can good everything is neat and clean the attitudes are pretty much professional so far they seem to have more than Walmart as far as food nevertheless great place nice location people wear your mask sanitize your hands and keep your immune system build up for what is coming eat healthy exercise

Can someone tell me why do people shop here? I can't understand why anyone would waste their precious time here. They up charge you and you come out the same amount as Walmart. Complete waste of time. They're not cheap and the quality of their food is not the greatest. Fiesta is better. The Hispanics come to this store because they cater to them, but it's a total waste of time to compare them to Walmart. You save nothing and you give up on quality. Visit at your own risk.....savings my ass!
