The night cashier does not know Dollar General return policy. I bought some orange juice that was bitter. Took it back WITH the receipt. She told me it is a federal law that food must be returned within 24 hours of purchase. I told her that's not true and cited my experience returning an item at Kroger that was purchased almost a week before I brought it back. She refused to refund my money. I told her I was a regular customer and this incident was bad enough to not return. She absent-mindly said,"No problem!" I looked up DG return policy and returned a couple of days later. Same woman. I had to show her my phone with the corporate policy showing on the screen. She called her manager on the phone, anyway. I could tell she wasn't happy with the managers answer. She finally gave my money back. Federal law, my foot!

Rude cashier, they literally wanted me to leave my bag at the front and I told her I had personal belongings inside and she said it was store policy. No other dollar general or store even has this rule smh

this was my favorite store when they first openthe customer service is terriblethey don't greet customer they don't never be at their registered and they always on their phone while serving customers they take too many smoke breaks and the older lady with the ponytail and glasses she rude and need to fine another job

Horrible Customer Service , the cashier was super rude and she was yelling at us as we paid. Never going to this store again she never to get fired for how disrespectful she was over coupons.

It doesn't even deserve the star. They are very racist towards the people who use coupons. They think they own the stores. I hope those from the General Corporation can change that because in the end the cashiers are only employees.
