Everyone is so nice, they are always busy. But will stop to get lines down. Except when they only have two people. Realize that they are cashing and stocking at same time. Always walk in their shoes. It’s hard working with public, not everyone is the nicest.

Worst experience ever. The store manager would not allow me to purchase the products I had collected before the store was set to close. I still had 5 minutes before official store closing time and was in the store for approximately 15 minutes. He refused to allow me checkout even though the store was technically still in operation. Additionally he passed by me multiple times in the store and did not inform me of the closing time or make any mention that I could potentially be denied my purchase. Cannot explain how terrible of customer service and bad overall customer experience this way. Additionally he proceeded to follow and lock the door while make personal comments and insults. Terrible terrible terrible. Will never shop here again. Corporate please assess accordingly.

On Friday 12/8/23 I bought icy hot and wireless headphones because my sister needed some, she tried them out and she told me the next that they didn’t work I didn’t have time to go back until today 12/11/23 I had my receipt and everything the black guy with dreads and glasses supposedly the manager asked me for my ID and asked if I had my debit card with me and I told him no because I paid with Apple Pay when I bought the headphones and I even showed him on my phone that I paid with Apple Pay and kept saying I still needed my card WHICH YOU DONT, I work in retail and I’m a manager myself and you don’t need your card physically with you if you pay with Apple Pay… the dude just doesn’t want to do his job if he don’t like it then he shouldn’t be working at all that simple rude as hell talking about wasting his his time and he has stuff to do, he acts like he is working but he don’t be nothing

If I could give you zero stars I would. Today I was in the store I entered before the store had closed. I entered at 8:30 it was 8:50 and I was ready to pay, the store closed at 9. They said I couldn't pay because the store had already closed and they told me to leave.

African American man in the dreadsWorking today 10/08/2023 @ closing… is EXTREMELY rude. He told my parents to get out of the store because my dad simply helped pick up a bag of dog food that was all over the floor ( in the way) he responded (instead of thank you sir) he said “SIR THAT WAS ON THE FLOOR FOR A REASON!” So my sister asked him for his name to which he responded he doesn’t have to give a name and to “ get out of my store”First of all that IS NOT YOUR STORE! You’re not even the manager. He’s claiming he is the manager and I know he in fact is not. Corporate please contact me.This is not the first time he has been rude to us and to people in general.. Dollar general please watch your comments, they’re all about this dude! Why would you lose customers because of him?!My dad did NOTHING WRONG and he has banned him from the store is RIDICULOUS…? Seriously corporate contact me because this is wrong is so many levels.

The super rude guy, there were 5 minutes left before closing and he almost took me out, I told him I was going to get my mom and he told me no, that I should go out and he would go get my mom and when she arrived, he took the things from her hands and don't let her pay, disrespect, that disgusting person

This place is trash and the tall black slender guy with dreads is the most unprofessional/filthy individual I have ever met. I went in to pick up a grocery order for a lady on door dash and couldn’t find a buggy. When I finally found one to put some of the items in this guy came and found me and asked me where I got the buggy from and he informed me that they don’t provide buggy’s for customers. When I asked how I was suppose to shop his reply was just like everyone else. People were standing at the register with their arms full and some items stacked on the floor beside them. I’ve never heard of anything like this before and there were clearly buggies that they had removed from the floor and put up by the registers in this small hallway and you could see a room to the right where buggies were stuffed in that room. The guy proceeded to take my buggy with the lady’s groceries away from me and told me in his rude snarky voice to have a good day. I messaged the customer to let them know what had happened and called and reported them. I’ve never experienced anything like this before in my life. It’s a sad world we live in today. Never been to this location before and wouldn’t have been here had it not been for a customer and would never go back. The customer was just as shocked as I was!

This store is super clean and everything is in order. I'll give them that. I seen the rude customer service to other people. Tonight I received it...I googled what time this store closes with was 9pm. I made it there at 8:36. This tall skinny dude with the glasses stops me and say "we closed, that why the door closed" I didn't make a fuss about it. I just went to family dollar across the street.Since I've been coming to this store, it always gets vandalized and broken doors....throw the entire staff away PLEASE

The employee that is tall, skinny, black guy, with dreads, and is mentally confused is very unprofessional and acts like a child. On top of that the manager just stood by and didn't do anything about it. Both should be terminated.

Usually have a good experience there. But on occasion staff is a little cranky. They did not allow my service dog to come in. Claiming he wasn't one. Also they refuse to sell cigarettes to anyone who does not 🚭 have an ID. And yes even Senior Citizens who do not have any ID cannot get them. Even God himself would be denied without ID. Which is ridiculous. I won't start that up.

This location is relatively new and needs to get its act together they have yet to fix the ice machine so no ice purchases and bags also no propane exchange even though they have the cage all bottles are empty and the propane service is not exchanged him in more than a year contact management and see if they can improve this new store

Worst dollar store in Dallas, the extremely rude employee literally kicked me out of the store because I used the restroom. He (a black guy with terribly bleached hair/ hiding his badge) said that the restroom was out of order!?! it was not and the sign was only over the male restroom door. Mind you I am 8 months pregnant which is an obvious condition that didn’t stop him from being rude and not allowing us to shop.

This location did not have the product I ordered. I was not able to receive notice of this until I arrived to pick up my order. Not only was my trip and time wasted, but I had to go to a competitor food service place to place a 2nd order. Very stressful and time consuming.

I made a purchase online and when I went to pick it up the store didn't have an item so I asked the manager if I could replace it with another scent he said he couldn't do it I told him it wasn't my fault if the product I bought didn't they had and that if he removed it from my order the amount I would have to pay would be higher because the corresponding coupons would not be applied he said that he was not going to do it and that if he wanted me to speak to the corporation I asked for his name and number the store, which he refused to do, I asked him why and he told me that he did not have to give me his name and that the number of the store was on the receipt that I should look for it there, he was very rude and arrogant..
