We decided to go to Big Lots today to see what they had. I haven't been to one in years. They had some good bargains including some furniture. We bought a few Blue Ray's that were priced just right. There was a little bit of everything in the store.

5-10-2023 we came in today at approximately 8pm with our service animal(Dog) and was asked by another associate for proof of service animal documentation. Under Texas law and the ADA state, staff may not ask about the nature of the person’s disability or about the qualificationsof the service animal, require medical documentation, require a special identification card or training documentation for the animal, or ask that the animal demonstrate its ability to perform the work or task.The Hispanic guy went about and told Michelle the manager about the dog. Michelle came off very rude over the intercom and caused a huge scene stating my dog was growling at people. My dog was just breathing heavy as we had taken him on a walk previouslyMichelle and this big lots lost our service coming back into this establishment never again will we come back.People with a service animal be warned Michelle will haul you down and ask you to leave don’t show her any paper work know your animal rights

Definitely the ghetto-ist unprofessional location Big Lots has. I asked some black 50year old woman and she was very rude. Usually I don't even worry too much about it but the way she responded was too far. Not to mention the store itself is very unorganized

I can’t praise this place enough. Kevin, the store manager, personally pulled several box springs for me yesterday AND helped me load them in the rain. After chatting with him, I learned he was at the end of a fairly long shift. Providing quality customer service is a lost art these days anyway; not to mention doing at a high level after working 8-10 hrs. This place will get my business over and over again. Excellent experience.Update: went back yesterday and got the same quality service. Multiple visits, multiple good experiences. Quality place and quality people 👍🏼

As big as this place is you'd think they'd have a power shopper for disabled shoppers. But all they have is a wheelchair with a basket on it . It look like something you'd see in a third world country. This was very disappointing to an avid big shop shopper.

I tried calling the store to check on status of online order pickup and was told nobody was fulfilling orders. I tried cancelling my order with the customer care team and was told I had to contact the store. I tried reaching out to the store and was told manager had to approve this. I was put on hold and hung up on three times. Probably worst retail customer service I've ever had.

This store is beautifully kept and full of very friendly employees. It's difficult to find a discount store where people have not wrecked it just with their inconsiderate shopping. This place though, is one of the stores that really excels in keeping the merchandise stocked, neat, and well-ordered.I was greeted the moment I went in, and I really felt like they appreciated my business. I'll be back.!

well today is September 6th 2023. Customer service in the furniture department sucked I browsed for about 30 minutes, didn't get any assistance at all. I wanted to buy a a loveseat they had on clearance nobody bothered to see if we needed anything so they lost a sale. I wanted to buy a mattress set as well and a bed frame. But oh well. Next.

This particular Big Lots often has the worst options or lack thereof. I believe it is only operational because of location, it definitely isn't due to quality or quantity. But the employees are always polite on the occasions I've visited even though it stays under staffed.

They sit and look at you at 10 a.m on sundays through the window with 5 people waiting. The guy worker that mops, the cashiers & stockers all just staring as if its too early. I had to knock to let them know it was indeed past opening. Elderly all out front on walkers, hurting & waiting. People spend way too much money here on a daily to be waiting after it says it should be open. I shop here daily, & I'll find me another place who'd appreciate my hard earned money.

The customer service that I recieved today was great..The young Hispanic lady on the first register when entering the store was very courteous and very knowledgeable..I think she's new, but she is always cordial when I go there..She's about 5"8 or 5ft 9..I want to specify this, so she get her props..Great service..I Hispanic an older gentlemen, when above and beyond in assisting me with a large dresser drawer.. And he also assisted with helping to put it in taxi.. He kept a positive attitude, and he was very, very helpful...Thanks biglots you've done a great job in hiring 2 wonderful sales associates...I was there between 2-4:00p.m. on October 15, 2021..Biglots always has great selections and great quality items...I truly recommend this store...

I live right next door and I have been in this store maybe 4 times. Kinda dissatisfied and disappointed. I still have not been able to get Pine Sol, regular green name brand Pine Sol. I do not do generic or off brands. They are not effective. Also, for Men,they never have any kind of selection for after shave mens after shaving. It doesn't take me long to void places out due to these things. I just don't have for it
