This is the worst store ever!! Absolutely filthy!! I couldn’t walk down the isles. I left my basket in the middle of the store and walked out.

I've encountered some really good employees here and some not so great. Job turnover rate must be bad here. There has been one man that's been a familiar face there for a little while now. He's always kind and friendly to my kids. Store isn't always in the best shape but, when there seems to be an employee issue that makes things a little more difficult.

I just wanted to say that corporate should be thankful for their employees because they go above and beyond and have to do 12 jobs in a days time, they work hard and are definitely unappreciated and underpaid!! Sarah and Cassidy go above and beyond and they get the job done even when they can’t even take a decent break because teamwork only exist when these 2 are working together!!! They should be employees of the month, rewarded with a raise and given a day or two off with paid time!!! DOLLAR GENERAL NEEDS TO APPRECIATE THEIR EMPLOYEES AND MAYBE THEY WONT HAVE TO PUT HIRING ADS OUT SO OFTEN!!!

Lady was very nice and very helpful. Even told me I could return item if it didn't work. Rockdale is not a real large town so I found them nice. Store was dusty a.d dirty in places but she was all alone everyday to put up stock wait on customers etc. She did good.

Very well laid out. Professional and organized employees. Manager seems friendly, knowledgeable and kind. Customer focus needs is what appears to be their motto.

I took part in the remodel this week. Store opens tomorrow, there will still be work being done. It looks amazing if we can keep customers and employees doing their part this store should be one of the best from here on out!!

I love dollar general. It have all of my everyday needs. The prizes are great , I can go in get what I need and it doesn't slow me up on what have to get done during the day.

They have good stuff, but i still see people not wearing masks correctly or at all. Otherwise, the staff is very nice and helpful.

The store has had a complete makeover, it's has more refrigerated/freezer coolers, it has isles that are numbered. They are headed in the right direction. Keep up the good work.

I like Dollar General stores, but this one is always a mess. Pallets in the aisles, boxes everywhere and everything's out of place. This time they even had two big pallets of merchandise right in the entrance of items that weren't for sale, no idea why!

Stood in line, even squeezed the little toy (As requested by the staffings note) several times, and yelled out Hello. This all continued for 2 - 3 minutes. No one came to the register. There was 1 customer in front of me and as the line continued to get longer, I went to the backroom to see if the staff was in the back. Luckly, I found the ASM and a cashier, they were both outside the back door, smoking and talking. I strongly suggested that someone come up front and tend to the customers. When I returned the Manager came out from her office stating "Sorry, I was taking a test." What the heck? Are you SERIOUS? The office is right by the registers and you (the Manager) waited for a customer to hunt YOUR employees down to get assistance. Terrible.

This store can't keep workers always 1 person checking out and they get a new person they don't train them they don't know what they doing is always a long line the manager is hardly there he's always high from smoking the store is not organized everything every time you go in there there's a new person working or half the time you go in there Noone is at the counter you can just walk in there get what you want in leave and they don't sanitize there baskets like Walmart

I was in store 3357 in rockdale Texas today and was appalled to hear the racial comments the STORE MANAGER was saying to another person during conversation. No way was it at all appropriate. There is no way I'll give another dollar to this company until they start expecting more professionalism from their employees.

They may not have as much as Wal-Mart, but it's a lot more convenient to shop at these smaller strores if you just need a few basic things. I often find cheaper products that Wal-Mart doesn't offer, so I shop at Dollar General stores pretty often. They also have a good selection of misc. items that just cost a dollar. Also, their canned foods are often priced better than most grocery stores. I definitely recommend shopping there if you're on a tight budget.

First time ide been back in awhile the new guy behind the counter was greeting everyone as they came in and unlike before he was checking everyone quickly not sure of his name but he was new , a hispanic gentleman and was taking care of business and was cheerful with his duties he is to be commended

Good for quick pick ups but ilse are too close everything is crowded. People walking down isle have to walk in the same direction because two carts won't pass beside eachother

Conveniently located off the Thoroughfare, just turn in and you'll find parking just as fitting as it's location. With the accessibility it makes me want to forget about the "Big Box"stores and the usual characteristics i.e., Hugh parking lots, long lines, & if lucky enough the self-checker is on the fritz, In addition DG™ has value brands to really give their guest a money saving experience, as well as Top Name Brands at competitive pricing. To be fair to the "BigBox" stores out there I use you too. One short coming I do find at this DG™ like several others I frequent, easy in and usual store front parking not so much when it's time to settle up. At times it seems to take a moment more to ring out. (Hit&miss)However, I will still shop here for my everyday day needs at DG™ it's suitable for me. I would like to Thank the GM and staff for their everyday pursuit of building a culture that is guest-related and keeps people coming back.

It seems that all DG stores are messy. Not enough employees. Stock is always on the floors in boxes and no one to put it away. ALL DG Stores except the one on Bastrop hwy I think it's hwy 95 & Round Rock on N. Mays.

Clean and clear aisles. However, cashier seemed a bit bothered of having to walk back to the register, after just exiting behind the counter.

If you use digital coupons get ready for a problem. The kids either don't know how to deal with them. Or the register doesn't. But the young lady did manually put the discount in for me.
