Employees were extremely "cold." I brought my 3 dogs there for a bath after a day of daycare. I walk through the door and a woman abruptly walks into my path and says "how can I help you?" I explained that I am just going to bath my dogs. She commenced to follow me through the store as I went to the back of the store to get a bottle of shampoo. I get to the register, paid for the 3 baths and shampoo. The young lady at the register NEVER asked me if I am a rewards customer; and after ringing up my items, she walked away. I had to call her back to the register and asked her for my receipt. Annoyed, she came back and gave me my receipt. As I finished, no one said thank you, have a nice day.....NOTHING. Just rude. Or racist. Either way, I can spend my hard-earned money elsewhere.

Nice employees, good selection. The store is rather messy and it always looks like they're doing inventory. The restrooms are absolutely FILTHY (no cleaning, sanitizing or sweeping - UGH!)

Did the dog wash. The clerks were very nice and made sure we had everything necessary. Also showed us were the extra towels were because we have a very large dog and one towel won't do the job. Of course we had to stop by a well stocked treat bar. Now we have a clean dog bot a stinky dog.

I always do my pet shopping at Petco. Recently, I have had issues with a finicky senior dog, She has become a picky eater, and the Petco employee recommended a different brand of kibble. IT WORKED!! She loves it! THANK YOU, PETCO!!

I love this store! The young ladies, especially Tiffany, who work here are so nice And knowledgeable about the products they sell. I rescued a dog and didn't know what food to buy. They instantly recommended one And said why they recommend it. It wasn't even the most expensive! Thanks Ladies! My baby, Molly Mae is very happy and healthy!

I love this particular location for the self wash tubs they have set up. It is so much easier on my back when washing my dog and let's not forget about the fact that you dont have to wash your bathtub at home when it's all said and done. The staff are extremely friendly and eager to help with whatever you may be looking for.

No carts to put my car food or litter in and I always buy the bigger size bags of pet food and the big box of litter. I had to take things one at a time to the counter and then to the car. Store was not clean and just overall not a good experience. I always shop at Petco.. I won’t be shopping at this one anymore

I have been a customer for a long time. But have decided not to shop here anymore. Just little over a month, I purchased 6 bags of dog food. ( 2months supply). And I found one of the bag had gone bad when I opened it. Had mold (about 40%). So I brought it back to let them know and to also purchase additional bags. Long story short, they said bc it was over 30days since purchased they were not able to give me store credit. Personally, I do. Ot care so much about the money but did not appreciate thier unwillingness to standby products they sold.

It’s on the small side, but it had everything we needed. Included a dog washing station for $20. The employee was super nice and helped my two year old who thought he was her Dad. Thank you for being patient with us and being so courteous!

Great store if you have a cat or a dog. But I have a tropical aquarium.The fish section is one tiny shelf of mostly betta fish foods. Very disappointing.

It's kind of like the Marshall's version of petco. There are some good deals, but the selection is very limited and it looks like someone let their kids loose to destroy the place faster than the 1 employee on staff can put it back together. The one bag of food I found that was close to what I was looking for had a hole in it, so I ended up leaving empty handed.

The store manager in the grooming department was absolutely amazing. She was so thorough in explaining our new puppy needs. She took the time to explain the importance of selecting puppy food and which ones are preferred. She went into great detail regarding the vetco clinic as well as the new pet insurance. I got all.of my questions answered in at one time. I highly recommend her for all pet needs. She is phenomenal.

Apparently you can return bad dog food if it’s from a different location. The girl just looked at the receipt and ran to grab a manager…rude…Tried to return dog food (over half of the bags weight) and they said because the bag was too expensive and we bought it too far away from this store? It really shouldn’t matter? Petco is going down the drain. Service sucks and no one is consistent with store policies.

Worked there for 6 months. It is a great place with staff that care about the well being of all animals. The company focuses on nutrition as a number one priority so you can be sure you are getting good advice when they make a recommendation. Taylor the Assistant Store Manager, is extremely knowledgeable and will make sure you leave the store happy and with whatever product you need. It is a small store that is quite with a neighborhood feel to it. Highly recommend this store!!

The awesome lady who checked me out was so helpful. I could tell she was a bit anxious but she was doing a great job and even helped me pick out a great kitty litter that gives me the option for refills so I can recycle my container instead of continuously buying a new one. I am thankful for her help. I love this location. Definitely one of my favorites.

Very knowledgeable and helpful staff at the Tuckerton at Barker Cypress location (next to Kroger) in Cypress, TX. I have a bad knee and so use a cane to walk at this time. Upon entering the store on one of my recent visits, a young man who works there asked if he could assist me. After explaining that the item I was looking for was located in the very back of the store, he asked me to wait there at the front counter and that he would get the item so that I wouldn't have to struggle with carrying it. He brought back multiple containers of the item, some very large, since he didn't know which size I wanted. The product was in liquid form, so all together, must have been quite heavy to carry all at once. This is but one example of the stellar service I've received every time I've shopped at that store. The employees are always quick to greet me as soon as I walk through the door, are always friendly and polite, very knowledgeable about whatever product I'm looking for, as well as it's location in the store. In addition, they have always walked with me to get it and assisted me by carrying it to the check-out counter. I could manage to carry the things I buy to the counter, but in most cases it would be very difficult to do so while walking with my cane, and using a shopping cart is also difficult for me because of my severe knee problems. I have never had to ask them to assist me in this way. They've always taken the initiative and acted. I highly recommend this store and will continue to shop there 👍👍👍👍👍

Truly a pleasant store. Friendly staff, organized and always super clean. Dogs on the right, cats and pet accessories to the left and center. Not to mention the sanitary/clean dog bath at the back of the store.

The store is great, mainly because they carry a wide variety of high quality dog food! We feed ours Taste of The Wild. I also like the store size, I don't mind paying a little extra vs purchasing online. The staff is always friendly.

Poor service, dog wash supplies are filthy, my puppy had an accident and they acted like she did it on purpose. She handed me 2 napkins, no gloves, no cleaning spray, no plastic bag to put the waste in. I had to wall around the store to find a receptacle myself while the staff said ewwe and watched me clean up. I asked where I could wash my hands and she said they don't have a place for that. I asked for hand sanitizer and she was even hesitant in giving that... I'm surprised.. I usually have an amazing experience at other lolocations. I'll be back, just not to this location.

Both workers today we're AWESOME. Erica went far and beyond to help me with what I needed. She helped with food for my new 8 wk old German shepherd. She gave me some good advice for Hazel. I would highly recommend anyone to go there.

I have gone here several times, and the most recent time was exceptional. I was trying to find flea products for my cat and the nicest lady helped me out. She explained to me what flea collars were, treatments, and medicine. Big shoutout to her. The vetco here is also very nice, my cat got her yearly shots here back in February and we were very pleased.

Phone inquiry: Called this location, nearest to our location, to inquire about the availability of an item at this store. Rebecca answered the phone there and completely blew me away with how thoughtful and accommodating she was with her replies to ALL my questions. She even offered extremely helpful advice when I shared a dilemma I was having. Kudos to whoever had the foresight in hiring Rebecca. Her wonderful attitude towards customer service is refreshing in these times we live. Should be the SOP (standard operating procedure)
