Dr. Arsola and every other Dr and vet tech that I have encountered have all been so caring with all of our dogs! My senior dog is starting having frequent visits and their care and compassion is unmatched. My dog is happy to walk through those doors and trusts them. I’ve had vets where she dreads going and shakes the entire time. She is relaxed and calm at Longwood. She has been under their care for over a year now and will be for the rest of her life. Pictured is my senior dog Lucky with her brother Titan who sometimes attends her appointments for moral support.

We took our pup, Gustopher, to be neutered and have his baby canine teeth removed. The surgery was very quick and he was happily on pain meds when I picked him up. The incision site is very small and Gus is healing well. It was a bit expensive but we wanted to ensure he was taken care of with the best hands. The front desk staff and tech were especially kind to a dog mom who was worried about her fur baby.

We use Longwood for boarding and Vet services. Our dog loves the experience and is always happy to go. Dr. Gasson has great bedside manner and he is very knowledgeable. The facilities are pristine and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

They always are compassionate and prompt to take care of our dogs needs when we had to put our dog Jack, down after bone cancer.. we went ahead and had leg amputated, and he lived eight months longer than he could have. I really feel comfortable with Longwood animal clinic with my fur babies needs.

Longwood is the best. I’ve been going for 18 years with dogs that have come and gone sadly. I moved and now drive 45 minutes past 3 vets to get to them. Will not change because they are amazing.

We took our dog for her annual checkup and shot updates. She had such a great time because everyone was so friendly and attentive. Normally she cries at the previous vets we've been too, but this was like a fun outing for her!Doctor Gasson was also very patient and walked us through her health, and answered all of the questions we had. Previous vets we've been to didn't bother giving us extra time to answer any concerns we had, or brushed off our problems. Doctor Gasson actually made us feel confident in our visit, and helped walk us through our concerns in a professional and friendly way.We'll definitely be bringing our dog here from now on! I don't think she'll let us bring her anywhere else after all of the love she received.

Had to find a place to board my dog on short notice. Quick to accomidate only to find out day of they dont socialize the animals. They also take the dogs out 3 times for only 15 min a day which I find unacceptable considering they are cages the other 23 hours and 15 min in a day. Don't worry they can milk you for more money if you want adequate exercise time for your dog up to 3 addition play times a day. For a vet / "resort" I expected more than sub par standard of care.

This was our first visit and even though I wasn’t able to make the visit my husband was. He was blown AWAY with the efficiency and friendliness of the Doctor and staff! From the moment of talking on the phone scheduling the appointment, to immediately being taken back into the room to be seen, to paying inside of the room we were in, it was done so smoothly! We are so happy we switched to this Veterinarian!

Doctors and staff are reasonable and caring, the place is clean and tidy, and I trust what they’re saying. I’d give 4.5 stars if I could simply due to price. They’re not exorbitant but they’re definitely not cheap either. Overall I definitely recommend.

Although an appointment was not available, you have a drop off program so my dog with a broken dew claw could be see right away. Dr. Gaston called me within two hours with the diagnosis and treatment plan. I picked up my dog within 30 minutes of his call. That’s wonderful service!

I was pleasantly surprised by the kindness of the staff and Doctors. The care and importance that my dog was given was amazing. I was a client of a previous clinic for over 10 years. The owner retired and passed the practice over to some young vets that don't share the quality standards nor have the passionate staffing that the clinic once had. I highly recomend these people. They have been awesome, 120% loving.. Thank you guys for taking care of my Duke!

I can't say enough good things. I have been bring my girls for boarding for several years- they love going on their "vacation". When it was time for one of our girls to cross over, the compassion showed by the staff was amazing. I know they loved her as much as we did. Thank you.

I had made an appointment for vaccines for my 2 dogs for them to stay at a resort and they called me now to tell me they cant get one of my dogs in and this upsets me because i had already booked at the resort and have a deposit. The lady in the phone tells me other clinics take walk ins lol excuse me but i have an APPOINTMENT with you guys i shouldn’t have to go to a clinic as a walk in. Also a couple days ago i went to treat one of my dogs for heart worms and they gave him a heart worm prevention shot and tbh i feel like they never gave him that shot and it was $175. This clinic just wants ur money not help your dogs here is the bill for that little visit $300 dls so today i was like okay im gonna give them another chance and take them for the vaccine and they cancelled my appointment? Ill never go here again.

Let me preface this review by letting the reader know I was a veterinary technician for a large emergency vet and speciality clinic in Austin for 15 years before moving to the Houston area. I have worked with veterinary neurologists, surgeons, radiologists, oncologists, internists and even physical therapists and acupuncturists. That being said, it has been a challenge to find a primary care vet for our dogs that I have felt comfortable with. Not to say I am a know-it-all, I very much respect each doctor’s knowledge and opinions, however I have yet to find a practice who I entrusted.I found Longwood Animal Hospital when our corgi developed seizures a couple years ago. We saw Dr Arsola who was compassionate and realistic about our options moving forward. She was open to hearing what my goals where for his quality of life without being pushy about recommending diagnostics that would ultimately lead us to the same place: medical management with oral medications. We started him out on a seizure control medication called Zonisamide and she even sent me home with a written script for an additional med, should he continue to have break-through seizures. We did ultimately have to start the second med, but it was so convenient to have it already on hand so we could get our pup some relief as soon as possible. He has done well for the past year on meds. Thank you Dr Arsola!We recently adopted a heeler puppy named Dolly who began vomiting and became inappetant after spending the weekend in the country at my in-laws. We were so sad to see our normally spunky girl so depressed. We brought her in to see Dr Gasson after an initial visit to VCA (they were unable to see her due to a full schedule). Together Dr Gasson and I decided on a plan of action and performed diagnostics and treatment, step by step, where he kept be updated on results and his recommendations for next steps. Dr Gasson and his technician (Nicole?) were attentive to my concerns while also interacting with our puppy in a gentle and compassionate manner. Our puppy has since made a full recovery and we are so thankful for the expert care we received at Longwood Animal Hospital.I couldn’t leave a review without also mentioning the amazing client service coordinators at the front desk. Amber and Nicki were so friendly and welcoming. Nicki brought my three year old son right over to the complimentary coloring book and crayons which kept him busy during our visit. Amber called the next day to check up on Dolly and was so sweet in an authentic way, not in the hollow “customer service” way that sometimes come with medical care. These are our babies after all!It’s also worth noting the prices at Longwood Animal hospital are very reasonable. I took my dog for grooming and it is the worst cut I’ve ever seen. My dog is a cocker spaniel and it looks like he had scissors taken to him all over. I was so disappointedI also asked about the total price and when I got there, they gave me a more expensive price. I had stopped going here but decided to give it another try, it was a mistake.(He was already losing the hair on his back, so only look at the lopsided hair on his sides and the scissor lines with no blending)

My fur babies are no fans of vets but their experience here are less stressful then anywhere else! Also the view is awesome, good to take your mind of vet stuff while waiting for doctor exam :)

Took me in quickly and provided excellent care for my cat who got an infection after a cat fight. They were very thorough and were able to handle my anxious cat. Better than any other vet i’ve taken her too (even if she doesn’t think so)

I just took my silky terrier into the vet for his joint shot. The technician takes good care of my dog while he receives his shot. My dog is not afraid to go to the vet; he always is greeted by friendly staff and they treat him gently. Love this veterinary staff!

I researched online to find a good boarding facility after PetSuites let a dog die of a heat stroke. I honestly never had issues with them, and my dogs loved being in there, but I didn't want to jeopardize the health of my dogs.Our Vet Clinic recommended Longwood Animal Hospital, and I think as a clinic, they be very good, but as a boarding facility, they need to learn a lot.They advertise themselves as a Pet Resort but they are not. We asked for the tour and everything was clean, but it was very basic, the cages are big enough for two large dogs, but the area is small and crowded. We got charged for a full night because we picked them on Sunday, and you have to pick up your dogs at 5PM, not a minute earlier. They hand you the dogs outside in the parking lot, you can not even enter to the reception area.I feel that the price is too high for the type of facilities and services. If you want to learn more ask for the tour and see yourself for what you are paying. We left the 2 dogs there on Friday, picked them on Sunday (5pm) the bill was $318.They may be fantastic as a clinic, but as a boarding facility, I will never use them again.

Our experience with LAH has been wonderful, our dog Casper was abandoned and had anxiety problem, but since we moved to this state and use LAH facility for care and overnight stay he has been very happy and well taken care of. The staffs at LAH are loving & excellent dealing with dogs like Casper. We travel quite often and have no worry when we place Casper under their watch. Thank you LAH!!

WILL NOT EVER GO BACK! I have been taking my dogs there for 10 or 11 years and have always liked the vets, but after my experience yesterday with my dog dying, I will never step foot in there again! Called them about 4:30 to speak to someone cause my dog was dying and wanted to possibly speak to a vet or tech about what to do. After telling the girl who answered everything that was going on, she told me to hold for a minute and she would get a vet tech. Well after a few minutes on hold, someone came back on the line and said "I'm sorry sir but we had an emergency come in and we can't care for your dog and I need to find somewhere else to take him." I was was kind of taken back by it and said are you serious. She said yes she was, they had an emergency come and and can't do anything for my dog and find somewhere else to go. Going to the same vet with my dog for that many years you would think that is the place to go, but I guess not anymore and my dog dying was not a concern to them. I had to find another place, which I did and they were great and very compassionate in that hard time, to put him down.

Every experience that I have had here with the vets and staff has been exceedingly positive. They are all so kind and compassionate! My 12-year-old chipoo, Murray, is a unique case - to say the least. :) He has a perineal hernia, luxating patella in both back legs, and he is prone to stress seizures. I bring him to Longwood to be groomed because he is 6.3 lbs of fury and requires sedation.I had him groomed on Wednesday, but before that it had been quite some time - mainly because of the seizures. We were trying to maintain his skin and coat at home but it got to a point where this was unsustainable. I brought him in for a wellness visit in September; we saw Dr. Li and Murray didn't growl at her at ALL. (A first for him!) She gave me anti-seizure meds that I was to administer starting two days prior to his appointment. Thankfully, they made all the difference and we had no seizures the day of the groom.Dr. Li was not available on Wednesday but Dr. Gasson was - both vets are W O N D E R F U L and I would be comfortable recommending either. They took the time to talk to me, explain everything, and also listened to what I had to say. Dr. Gasson called me a couple of times on Wednesday to keep me posted on his observations of Murray and what he wanted to do, to which I obliged.My *only* complaint, if any, is that I wish the cost of the additional procedures was provided to me over the phone. When I dropped Murray off, we were quoted at around ~$250 - upon pickup, I believe the total was ~$650?Honestly, I have no issues paying this considering that Murray looks great, received excellent care, and is acting like a brand new dog now! Even so, I do not think it should be up to the patient to have to proactively seek out the cost. It would have prevented me from having to log in to my bank account in the lobby because I was unprepared and needed to transfer some money over.Despite this, I will still bring Murray to Longwood and recommend them because I've had some crummy vets in the past; I know that quality care for your pet is worth the price tag.<3
