Recently I was forced to pay triple the fee for the same service I had received for several years. I was not informed of this increase which did not include any additional time or cost to the business from previous transactions. The additional expense left me with no alternative since non compliance on my part would had lead to a greater financial loss.....UPDATE TO YOUR RESPONSE, Your explanation of the events is laughable. Your costs and or time did not increase for services provided. You did not send an email to me. Your posting of the new charges being written on a piece of paper taped to a countertop in the rear of the store is ridiculous. The statement that you notified online dealers of your rate is irrelevant since no one other than the your customer is concerned with this matter. You never mentioned any increase prior to receivership which would have been prudent since your new rate is most likely the most expensive in the state.

Pretty unprofessional experience and will not be returning. I ordered a simple bug spray on the website the night before and picked it up this afternoon. The website and email offered me curbside pickup. As soon as i parked my vehicle i called the store. first time i called, no answer after 5 minutes waiting. second time i called got an answer and was asked to hold before i could say anything. waited 5 minutes and nothing. i would have gladly just gone in and grabbed it but i had my dog in the vehicle with me so i couldnt leave him without ac. i am then forced to go inside while i just let the window down for my dog in texas 90 degree weather and was waiting patiently next to the register with none of the cashiers acknowledging me. i asked for help and said im only picking up an online order but i keep getting put on hold attempting to do curbside pickup. the cashier continues with the customer she already had which is fine but ill be waiting outside in the car so my dog has ac again. the cashier comes and delivers the bug spray and tells me they didnt even know they offered curbside pickup. i would highly suggest removing that option form your website and the email that tell you your order is ready for pickup. i was getting ugly stares from the cashiers and customers as if i was asking for something crazy out of this world. that was an option on my pickup email i followed the instructions and the employees that work here don’t even know they offer that pickup option after getting ugly stares simply asking for assistance. i wasnt rude, i didnt cause a scene, and i never raise my voice. will not be returning due to this.

I wish that Google had a zero stars option. Crosby Ace location is the worst. They only help who they want, never have items you need in stock, if they did you will never find them anyways. I drive to Atascocita Ace where I am welcomed with smiles and friendly greetings to spend my hard earned money and treated like somebody.Don't waste your time in Crosby!

It's like if your ornery Grandpa owned a hardware store. The staff is friendly and helpful and they have just about everything you need. It's not a Lowes or Home Depot and you might pay a little more than the big name stores. It also saves you a trip from Baytown or Atascocita. Spend more time getting there and back than looking for what you need.

Every time I have to run to Ace Hardware, I am thankful it is local and open. Today I went 15 minutes before closing time. The cashier asked me a question. I didn’t understand her. I asked her to repeat it. She took her hand made a fist and slammed it on the countertop and yelled.

Prices are a bit higher than big chain stores but the customer service and close vicinity make the little extra money spent worth it. They always are knowledgeable, stand behind their products and really care about having your business. Thanks to all the staff that are always so helpful.

I am writing this review to inform other customers of the lack of professionalism and organization at Ace Hardware in Crosby. I ordered a christmas gift for my father a week ago and it was supposed to arrive December 23. The item arrived, I called in the morning to confirm. Few hours later, I receive a voicemail stating the item i ordered and purchased was sold to someone else. No other compensation was offered other than waiting a week for a new item or a refund. There are plenty of hardware stores in the area, choose a different one.

A great place to get materials and more with a vast selection of item that are not offered any where else that is remotely close to that area. Thanks again with the outstanding service and help with my project. I truly could not have done it without you all. Also this store is being kept extremely clean while observing social distancing.

I love this store. There have been times when I looked at 6 or more hardware stores (local, big box) and this was the only place that I could find the part I needed. All shelves and rows are neat and in order even small plumbing and other items

It's very small. They have a lot of merchandise. We get our propane change their. everyone's nice and you have to wait 6 ft away from everyone else and you can only one person can come up to the register. They wear masks and they encourage you to ware a mask.

I have dealt with this store for many years. The staff are always friendly helpful and professional. The last time I was there it was almost closing and I had two of my grandchildren with me Kaden and Alice. I was joking with them about let's look at everything they have in the store when one of the ladies said when y'all get ready to check out I have a surprise for you. She had a pet , I won't say what it was, but my grandkids fell in love with it and she let them hold it and take pictures with it. I have never been to another store with such a wonderful staff.
