My job put us up here, and I've been staying here for work. Room are great, staff is amazing, best house keeping I've ever seen in a hotel. Andrea took great care of my crew and makes an amazing breakfast. Absolutely fantastic hotel. Wonderful staff and owner that really take care of their guests. I stayed here two weeks for work, rooms were cleaned nice daily. The best part of my stay was the awesome breakfast served daily. Real eggs! Not the powdered or bagged grab you get at any other hotel. The breakfast was amazing everyday. Best breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel other than a resort.

Manager and employees are nice and very helpful. They have an awesome service and good breakfast, pool table and some beer. You can have a good night while you are staying the night there. Also they treat their guest and their families great. Holidays they feed their guests and employees, like this Thanksgiving we had a good turn out and feed all guests that didn't make it home for the holiday. I recommend anyone that needs to rent a room go on ahead and call this motel!!

The staff here is supper nice and very accommodating to your needs. The rooms are awesome. Very clean and spacious. I stayed here for work over the Christmas holiday week and the staff was amazing! Hot breakfast every day. The staff even prepared a Christmas lunch and dinner for the guests. Nice picnic area outside with two big BBQ pits. My room was nice with a comfy bed and quiet surroundings for good sleep. Nice hot shower with plenty of hot water. WiFi speed was great. Thank you for the great stay!

Lobby was dark and stank like body order covered up by excessive amounts of a cheap cologne...Loud obnoxious people playing pool in a room off lobby...Woman that checked me was a real dope.... didn't seem to know anything ... couldn't anwser why the entrance doors said "do not enter " on them...or didn't seem to understand or care that the lobby stinks...The room itself was old and dingy looking and the toilet seat was not cleaned very well....had to do it out myself....other than that it was medicorce at best...I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone nor will I stay here again.There are better places than this in town...Definitely not worth the price charged....

Here is what you get for $63...a huge clean room,a huge king size bed,a clean big bathroom, no funny smells,refrigerator with freezer, another smaller refrigerator, electric oven, microwave ,good size tv with cable programs, desk,chair,lights all over the room...a nice sized pool..as a 30 yrs traveler arround the country, in my opinion one of top 10 low price hotels in the country.

This is a great place to stay. My wife and I are over the road truck drivers. We broke down and needed a place to stay for a few days, with dogs. They had a room, reasonably priced. The breakfast is great. The people who work here have been great and helpful. We needed to go to the store and they had transportation and is always available. They picked us up and are going to give us a ride back to our semi when it's fixed. We can't say enough great things about the place. Highly recommend and we will be back.

Great little hotel for when you’re working in the area. All of the staff and other visitors have been very friendly. Very affordable. Rooms are a lot better than what you’d expect for the price. I have stayed here several times now, and this will continue to be my go to spot when I work in this area. Breakfast starts at 4:30am, which is fantastic for us workers that have to leave our early in the mornings to get to our job sites. Oh, happy hour in the evenings is a wonderful perk.

Me and my family came here after a long exhausting trip and we’re glad we picked this place. The room was neat, had everything we needed and the bed was comfy. What really impressed me was the complimentary breakfast, they had everything. There was refried beans with cheese, eggs and bacon, waffles, biscuits and gravy, fried potatoes, and much more. We pretty much paid to go out and eat as well as a nice room. I do admit that there was a funky smell on the second floor, maybe the carpet? Also some paper seat covers could go a long way at this day of age but that wasn’t a huge deal. We will look for more written inn’s in the future for a good night sleep and an early breakfast.

Awesome they set me right up for my RV spot. You get the same amenities as if you stayed in the hotel right next door. Washer/ Dryer, pool, pool table, free beer during happy hours! I will be back here again! The service desk people were friendly and helpful.

The building and set up is nice and the breakfast was good but the service from the employees is awful they are rude and provide sloppy service. Our room smelled like cigarettes and it's a non smoking hotel. They never cleaned the room we would have to call front desk it would be 630-7 in the evening after we complained that our room would get cleaned the Wi-Fi connection is poor our Tv went out at 5am and it didn't get fixed till about 1pm the fridge hand an awful smell and the employees are too friendly with the customers one employee was constantly asking for a married man that works for one of the companies. We just could not wait to leave this hotel. Our sheets never got changed all they did was take out the trash and make the bed they came into the room without knocking to get towels. It was just a miserable experience

I've spent more time at this establishment than my home for the better part of 7 months due to work. While I know that no hotel room will ever give me the feelings of being home and sleeping in my own bed, this hotel has been a great place to stay. The TV's could use some updates, but that may be my only gripe. The internet is superb, but be sure to bring an ethernet cord to hardwire into the system. The wifi can be sketchy at times. We have also ran into cleaning issues, but not bad enough to give less than 4 stars.The rates are great. They also offer early breakfast starting at 4:30am for the workers.

The Whitten Inn is a home away from home. The staff is friendly and polite, the room are always nice and clean and they are even pet friendly. The pool is absolutely refreshing on a hot south Texas day and the breakfast is always hot and ready. The front office staff is welcoming and I can’t wait to book them for my next trip to Cotulla.

Decent place with the free beer in the afternoon and a small pool. Also, decent pricing, BUT, employees were rude! Its a smoke free motel, but when I checked in, the room smelled so bad like smoke. They didnt change our room till the next afternoon. When we talked to one of the ladies at the front desk, and were complaining, she said we had to wait to speak to the manager. Few mins later, we went back and asked when the manager would be in, and she said she was the manager. I told her she was being rude and she switched up her attitude. Then, the next day, another red headed lady was being so rude. 1 girl, i asked for quarters, it looked like she was gonna help me with that, and she walked away to spray febreeze. The red headed lady came to the front desk, and literally said “what do you want” i said, um, quarters?...i get that workers get frustrated, but if you dont like your job, then you need to rethink your profession and move on somewhere else. Workers are tired, and people traveling are tired. Hotels are supposed to make guests feel comfortable, not like WE are the bother. Also, beds are way too firm and wifi is sooo bad. Such a bad experience for us!

Been spending most my year at this hotel and it is a great stay. The service is great but the reason I did not give a 5 star rating is because of the beds, I mean you can sleep on them but they are not that comfortable. That would be the only thing I would change.
