Went to get a sandwich last night @ subway yesterday and there was only 1 person working. She was very young maybe 17 yrs old. Anyways it was full and there was a line, she was very attentive and fast. Im a regular customer and shes faster than half of the guys i see working there. But i don't know why you are leaving a young girl like that on her own, i can see she knows what she’s doing but I at least think she should have help. She was a great help, and was very attentive to detail, I didn’t get her name but if i were yall i would give her a raise or something because honestly she’s doing more than what she has too. Just putting it out there.

terrible, it takes 3 hours to wait in line for the shower. 16 people in line, no one cleans the shower, the queue has been standing for an hour

The BEST store ever. I went in got a subway and GREAT customer service. Especially the worker who was working there. I believe he was named emanuel or something like that. Props to that guy, the sandwich tasted amazing and was made adequately. The cashiers were very friendly and welcoming. I would DEFINITELY come back again. 10/10

I waited for the shower room for more than 45 minutes. After entering, I found the water was cold and there was no hot water for washing. I objected and went to the person in charge. He was rude to me and spoke in an unsophisticated manner. The worst place here.His name Joey, the general manager in this location he is attitude and he is not respect me

Passing real quick and had to stop for gas. They had fresh hot coffee and the strong stuff. They also have self checkout, so you don't have to wait in long lines. The store floors had just been mopped and it was quiet. Not to much traffic. Not bad place for strong coffee.

This is a very clean truck stop. This is a good place to stop between Laredo and San Antonio. Gas prices are competitive. I used the restrooms which were clean. I also ate at Subway. Sandwich was good and what you would expect from a chain restaurant. The staff was very friendly.

Clean showers hot / cood water nice staff.... Stopped here twice today no food made, has a subway but closes... If you plan to pull in around 9-10pm you might be snacking on chips. I parked at stripes laredo taco is good, but also closes at 8pm but stripes had hot food all day. Small trucker lounge, small slot machine room no arcade. Just a Basic fly J. Free wifi inside11-12-17Update subway stays open 24hr guess someone called in? Yesterday. Still no food hot on the store side after 11pm. Salads and pre made subs. I think the kitchen is messed up signs posted about food on store side.1/31/18 all fuel pumps seem to be working, Kitchen working again needs more staff working place stays busy!

Typical truck/rest stop. The restrooms weren't exactly clean but it wasn't the worst I've experienced. It's in a high traffic area yet on a Saturday night there were few hot food choices to choose from. Also there were 10 State Trooper vehicles there for over an hour. Some would feel safe, as a minority I was more nervous.

This place is a joke the fruit is warm and rotten at best. The Sodas and juices are way at best, I told the cashier that the drink cooler needs to be turned up because the beverages like Sodas and juices were warm👍who wants a way drink after working all day or night she Snickers and said she would let the manager know. If I have to stop here again I will get my drinks and food before I get here and just shower and take a break here

There has been a bizarre transformation of this place that defies explanation. The one or two overworked employees at the checkout counter are spending much more time directing customers to the self checkout stations instead of checking out customers. These employees are basically being paid to eliminate their own jobs. I think self checkout sucks and is a cop out on the shoulders of the manager or owner. This arrangement and the problems with the subway in the same building really make me not want to go there again even with their excellent coffee machines.

The service I rec'd at this FJ is one of the worst. I encountered 3/4 so-called guest agents or customer reps who were rude, dismissive nd clearly concerned with being selective with who they showed customer respect to. I am a professional driver nd visited MANY Pilot/FJ centers thru out the USA nd Canada. Again, on this day, 9/29/23, btwn 1750-1800 hrs, the service i received was disrespectful nd deliberately rude. There probably won't be change, 2wards customers ofa certain persuasion since the three workers who exuded poor service were comfortable doing so. However, for those who are concerned with reviews nd find commonality with my review, yu are cautioned to be aware of such foul, poor service from certain ppl who work here, both at the register nd PJ Fresh counter. The subway guys were wonderful but I dnt think they're employed by this franchise. Thus, the difference in how I was treated.

I've showered on 5 of the 7 showers and have yet to get any hot water, slightly above freezing is all they'll do,they're usually pretty clean though

What is the purpose of having workers (like walmart) if your going to force customers to use the self checkout. Y'all have 3-4 registers and plenty of workers and im waiting to purchase a shower and get my receipt from fueling, lady asks me if I need help...why yes im not waiting in line for no reason and then refuses to use the actual register and makes me use self checkout. If I wanted to use them I would. I prefer to actually deal with human beings it's part of your job, what you get paid to do, there's a smaller chance for error. It is simple and easy and I don't have to swipe my card unnecessarily (plenty of scammers out there) or sign unnecessarily etc etc. I understand Y'all think it's a waste of your time but....its your job. Its not MY job.Update: if I had known I'd be waiting 1.5hrs for a shower or that it would be cold and therefore unenjoyable at all then I wouldn't have wasted my time or my money. I don't mind a warm shower instead of a hot one but I was livid when it was cold and there was no way to adjust it bc it only gave you an inch to turn the knob before the shower shut off. This stop is now on my ban list. I'll run out of diesel 1st before I stop here again.

I'm parked in a spot that is out of the way, just resting and I have a 400 pound deputy sheriff give me a warning citation for not parking in a legal zone. Looking out, the whole department is in the parking lot shaking down the transportation spine of Texas for infractions instead of enforcement of crime! Infractions by DOT nature are not criminal

Well....that was a great stop! Not sure what some of the other reviews are. Generally if you're nice to people, they are nice to you...so maybe look in the mirror when you say people are rude. The shower was very clean, spacious and water wasn't hot or cold... It was wherever I put the handle. Best stop of the week. Thanks.

I come here often and is always a good experience. Everything is always clean, even the dang fuel pumps. Cleanest restrooms around. The subway restaurant is always a plus for me and the y have an good deli selection as well. Showers for pro drivers and a rest area and laundry room. Good selection of travel goods and accessories. Staff is always friendly too.

Got food poisoning From the pizza. Sick for 4 days. They don’t cook pizza correctly and leave it under heat lamps all day long never making fresh . Would not recommend

Stopped in for a shower. There were 4 ahead of us but the wait wasn't as long as we expected. Shower was clean and well stocked. The store employees were friendly and helpful. There is a drivers lounge. Nothing special, but adequate. The store seemed clean and well organized.

Need to do better maintenance on their pumps. Also would help if driver courtesy was still around. Took almost an hour to get partial fillup and packed with too many trucks trying to move through one entrance/exit.

Me and my husband always stop here whenever we are heading to and from Laredo, the bathrooms are always clean even tho it's a high traffic area and they have hot food with really friendly employees,,

Store area is awesome! Nice selection of food however there was no Mexican food to speak of. Had to walk next door for that. The shower was clean for the most part, however there was a bunched up piece of paper on the floor, a string, and a lot of dirt in the corner. You could tell it wasn’t throughly cleaned. Behind the door was stickers indicating sizes, like “Large”. Looks like they had been there for awhile. In shower 6, the shower valve did not work very well so you only received slightly warm water. Also had a paper shower mat.
