Wonderful food at very reasonable prices. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, nor is there any ‘yuppie’ or ‘hipster’ ambience. But the food is amazing.I had the chorizo eggs—I swear there were at least four eggs scrambled with the chorizo. The refried beans actually had flavor—something lacking in 90% of Tex-Mex restaurants.I didn’t order a hamburger, but you can order by weight, and the ones I saw emerge from the kitchen made me wish we weren’t just passing through.My wife had Guisada Tacos and she loved the flavor of the marinated beef. They were out of barbacoa, another reason I’d like to revisit.They also have an almost endless list of taco options.

Outstanding!This kids are making damn good food!My burger was hot, fresh, perfectly grilled, seasoned just right, with awesome melted cheese. The bun was toasted exactly perfectly. And the fries were fresh cut, thick, battered with something special, and fried to perfection.DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE!

PLEASE READ THIS!!! DO NOT let the outside or inside appearance of this place fool or deter you. I went in for my 2nd time today and had an amazing talk with the owner. A humble man with a story surrounding this restaurant that is purely amazing. The food is impeccable! Made to order and ((FRESH)) ingredient food! This place was a fireworks stand back in the 70s. Owned by his parents until the land was annexed, and they were forced to close the family business. They had to make money to survive so they added on feet by feet at a time to form a restaurant. And let me tell you the food here is AMAZING! Give it a chance, I promise you will return for more. I recommend the burgers!!!!Parking: Trucker parking available.

Archy’s is the best place to go if you’re in town! Food is outstanding & all employees are great! This was our first time here and we felt at home. We want to give a big thanks to the owners. Our kids had a great time! We also bought their homemade salsa…. They made it fresh for our travel home. Thank you everyone for making this trip memorable. We will be back soon 💕

Finally got a chance to swing by this place and try out their burger. I occasionally work in the area, but don’t get back into town until later in the day, so Tuesday is my only chance.The burger itself was really good, definitely the best burger you’re going to be able to get in Cotulla. The size is also customizable, from 5oz up to 12oz patty.It wasn’t very busy, but the wait time for the food was a little long. This by no means was negative in my opinion, I wasn’t looking for a frozen patty to be slapped on the grill and thrown on my plate a minute later. These are quality burgers that are made to order.Archy was there in person. He took my order, brought my food out to me, and even checked on me a couple times. He’s a very personable, friendly person, and he probably solidified my 5 star rating.So yes, the burger is good. I can’t speak on his breakfast tacos or other lunch specials at this time. If you’re working in the area or you’re hungry when you’re passing through Cotulla, give this place a shot.

Good food the only reason I gave it a 3 rating is because their tortillas are not very good. They were kind of hard unless they weren't freshly made. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros plate the ranchero sauce was good and so was the beans and potatoes. Coffee was good and fresh. Not much seating. The place could use some attention but the place was clean. Very pricey but then everything here in Cotulla, Tx is very pricey. Oh I almost forgot to mention they gave me an extra egg!!

Fresh hand made patty. Fresh fries.The 12oz was way bigger then I expected.Food is delicious and you can tell this isn’t some frozen junk it the real deal home style burgers.I know where I’ll be stopping by when I’m in this area.

The loaded barbacoa tacos are the best in cotulla. Breakfast tacos are decent. Salsa is good.

The building definitely needs some TLC, which I completely understand given the circumstances. I ordered a 10oz burger which came with fries and a soda. There was a sign that said this was not fast food, and while I did not expect it to be fast, I did NOT expect to have to wait 35 minutes for one burger, with only one order ahead of me that I could tell. The burger was as large as I expected and the flavor was mostly there. The fries were a big disappointment. Strange texture and flavor. Bun was properly toasted so the burger did not collapse. Overall I would probably try it again and felt I got good value per dollar, though if you're looking for good french fries you are in the wrong place.

We have been ordering from here at least twice a week for the past 4 months. Today, a young man answered the phone and didn't have a clue what he was doing. Got there to pick up our order and he only had half of it. They fixed the rest of it and it was still wrong when we got home. I called and they said to come pick up the replacements. I was supposed to have 3 soft tacos and they only gave me one. 3 of them argued with me until I gave up and said I wouldn't be back. The young man then said, "that sounds good to me". I have never been treated like that in a restaurant and plan to tell everyone I know. Archy's is too good to have that kind of employees.

Working in the area and decided I’d stop by to see what the hype is about. Archy’s did not disappoint. I’d have to say it’s the best burger I’ve ever had, I try all types of burgers from the Austin area and none compare. You want want of those burgers you only see food network, this is the place to go. Homemade fries are also a phenomenal side to a 5 star burger. So good I’m planning on going back and having it for the 2nd day straight and will definitely swing by everytime I’m in cotulla.

The Best South Texas Brurgers!Try the ultimate, it won't disappoint.I didn't even get a chance to take a pic!Once I started tasting it, I couldn't stop eating it!Fair warning, the outside ain't much to look at but the inside is where the magic happens.

I'll start with saying the burgers here are great! The fries are unique in that they're fried with a batter like onion rings. Very good and I would eat here again.That being said this place is hard to miss. The place is a little bit run down but don't let that scare you. The food is good. Seating is a bit limited with a handful of tables. I came at 2PM on a Tuesday and it wasn't crowded. A few locals came in and picked up food to go.5/5 I would recommend this place.

The staff was excellent! I had the 10oz burger and the battered fries.. It too, was excellent.. remember.. the bigger the burger.. the longer the wait.. their biggest was 16oz.. He came out from the kitchen as a courtesy to inform us that the order was coming.. and explained why.. we weren't in any hurry at all.. and the wait wasn't bad to begin with.. If I lived in Cotulla, I'd visit again so I could explore their menu.. this isn't a complaint.. but I didn't notice much seasoning.. mainly salt, honestly.. but I wanted to try it how they make it.. salt is on the table for you.. don't let that stop you from getting their burger.. especially since I only ate there once.. I would definitely eat there again..
