Very nice ladies. Lots of different items to buy.They were Knowingly selling out of date animal food and treats. It was marked on sale.I know it was knowingly because when I mentioned it they said"I know that's why it's marked down."It is illegal to sale out of date items and potentially very dangerous for which ever animal you give it to.

I went to visit the store October 16, 2023 in hopes to find some flea meds for my dog and cat. Before going to the counter for what i really needed i went to visit the animal room to find a worker lost in her phone taking selfies with one of the animals, it was cute of course just maybe focus on cleaning the pee by the front door lol? Once I went to the front after walking around the store with no help another girl “Elisa” was at a computer desk sitting on her phone completely ignoring me and my family. I’m not that quiet but anyone would be able to sense the presence of someone in front the counter? Anyways when I got her attention she never got up from her seat so i had no idea who I was talking to until she got up to grab a box for me. Didn’t seem like there is any adult super vision just a couple of irresponsible teens running the store. Pee on the floor, playing with animals? Like seriously lol?

Went in today hoping to fine bison horn again. We have purchased two of these over the last 2 or 3 years. We also bought a buffalo horn as well. Had a very rude red headed lady with curly short hair seem to get angry with us because we asked about this and then informed her that we did in fact buy HORNs from this store-not hoof. We left and spent almost $200. at another small pet store that had polite and helpful employees.

I tried to get my dogs groomed here countless times, but their groomer, Katie, kept canceling and would not return my calls! It's extremely frustrating to constantly deal with. The manager was apologetic and tried to work with me, but I refused. The store itself is wonderful, I get all my pets food and toys from them. I've never had this much of an issue, and it was quite shocking to say the least. I will continue shopping here but will look for a different groomer.

I'm giving a 5 because the employees are great. The manager Sandy was extremely helpful and empathetic. Now for the grooming I would give a 1. I dropped my furbaby at 10 am and checked in on my dog after 2 hours, the groomer wasn't there ,she had stepped out. My baby was in the store from 10 to 3 which is ridiculous. I just don't understand how grooming could take that long.

I am giving a two star review because the though staff is polite. They way they don’t gender small animals, the Guinea pigs and rabbits is cruel. I got my first two Guinea pigs from here and my girl was already pregnant because she was living with males in a “female” cage. I go by occasional to see how these small animals are and they had them mixed again claiming they were all males. I asked to verify they bunnies they had and there was one girl in a cage with 4 males. I told them they should separate but to let people know the females may already be pregnant because of this living situation. I need to go back to verify they were separated, but I hope the young employee listened to my advice.

This place is incredible! When I walked in, the ladies were so nice and made me feel like they’d known me for years. I browsed a bit, and they kept coming by to love on my pup I had with me. The store was so cute and I love the selection. The absolute best part was when a homeless man came in and told them he only had $2 but wanted to buy one of their $5 bags of dog food. The ladies didn’t hesitate to give him one, free of charge. These practices are the types of things I want to support. Thank you guys for your kindness to someone who was down on their luck, as well as providing great customer service and such an amazing environment. Will definitely be back.

Toenail Tuesday was great! Very friendly and did a great job with my our Eve. They helped us as soon as we walked in. Great customer service! Definitely coming back another Tuesday!This place continues to be great! We still come once a month on Tuesday to get toes clipped. They are very good with our dog! Super friendly staff!

Very unprofessional place after a long wait to get an appointment. Show up at the time and date of my appointment and the groomer is NOT AVAILABLE… the store phoned her but she decides she doesn’t want to come in and just changed appointment for another time! I was inconvenience and upset! Then to be told by the manager she would shave off $10 when I get my dog groomed…when they charge anywhere from $60-$80 for grooming.😡

Really good selection of dog food as well as any small pets you can think of. I was impressed with the staff. Very helpful. The animal cages were clean and the pets were not stressed. The rabbits were adorable! I would give 5 stars but the smell is very strong when you walk in. I'm not sure why because the store is very clean.

The staff at the store are wonderful. They are polite and very helpful. The store has a great variety of food, toys, and treats. We originally went there because our English bulldog had s UTI and need cranberry. We got some cranberry/liver treats suggested by the staff. Now, both the bulldog and my scottie are hooked! It is their special before bed treat.

I love this place. It has a great selection of pet items and toys. I particularly like the wide selection of healthy foods and treats. Trust me when I say that my dogs and cat are happy to have such a store in Corpus Christi.

It was great! It did smell a bit, but come on, its a pet store. I took my kid there to get a rabbit or guinea pig, the people were really nice & friendly, and helped me. They even let my kid pet the bunnys!<3

I was sold a “Tire track eel” here that would grow to 20”+ but it’s actually NOT. It is a Half banded spiny eel that will only grow 20cm. Now I have this very small eel for 10+ years instead of a large one.

The store itself is amazing and the owner, I presume was very helpful, kind, and attentive. But my initial reason for going into the store was for a groom. I wasn't too pleased with the overall service of her haircut. I'm not sure if she had any issues with being able to complete the process of her groom, but upon picking her up I wasn't informed of her having any issues with her not being able to. There are areas on her cut where she was shaved down either not enough or way too low. Her ears seemed to not have been done or plucked correctly, and the sanitary trim on her paw pads also didn't seem to have been done either. I did call the groomer the same day after picking her up and she did mention I could take her back and it would be fixed, but I don't live in town and with all that's going on right now I am trying to limit how much I actually have to go out, I also don't feel that I should even be put in a situation where I would have to even bring her back after explaining in full what I wanted done, I had really high hopes for this place as I've read so many awesome reviews, unfortunately I guess it's back to the drawing board on a new groomer.

I have been here a few times and I have to say, wow! They are so amazingly helpful and well stocked! I have bought cat food, dog food, cat litter, toys, treats. You name it, I've bought it there. There are usually 2 - 3 employees working on any given day. They are knowledgeable and helpful. If they don't know, they look it up and check with vendors for you. If it's not something they carry, they will see if they can order it. Their selection of food and treats is fantastic! They only carry the best!I will continue to shop here as long as they are open!

Not your average pet store! Loaded with natural, wholesome goodness for more than just dogs and cats, with the friendliest staff! Rebecca always greets our puppy girls and, if they are good for their nail trims, shares a treat with them. (Sometimes they get a treat even if they aren't so good 🤭). Even with the premium brands they carry, you can find a really good deal here, too. Grooming service is also available.

This is a clean store with friendly staff. They provide a variety of items at affordable prices. I love that they host a monthly discount mobile veterinarian. You can bring your pets here to get tested, examined, microchipped, vaccinated and purchase discount preventative medications.

Stopped in to check it out and thought the store was dirty. I picked up an item from off the shelf and it was noticably sticky/wet to the touch. Looked inside and there appeared to be feces in it. I asked an employee if they sell used merch and they said that they didn't, but there were mice (pests) living in the store that may have used it. I appreciate the honesty but that's disgusting. If I brought that home to my rats they could get really sick. Also, there are animals for sale in extremely small cages and I was hoping to see a difference in that regard from the bigger pet retailers like PetSmart and Petco. Overall I was dissapointed. I was hoping to find a new local business to support, but I don't want to spend more money on the same products when the place is dirty and doesn't seem to treat the animals any better...

This place is awesome! Rebecca is so friendly and helpful! We’ve been getting grain free cat food for a kitty with stomach issues. We call ahead, she brings it to the car. They are very knowledgeable!!! Please support them and keep them in business. They are located at Gulf Way close to Jason’s Deli!

Yeahh im done with this place. Your employees dont respect the customers time. I work long hours 6 days a week and value my time off, standing at the counter for 15 minutes on my one day off while 2 employees are in the back doesnt really work for me. There was one other customer than me and i was ready to check out my two items. Its always the same employee that takes her sweet time too.
