I have brought my dog here twice and have had a good experience both times. I always ask that my dogs ears are not trimmed and that she is not shaved down (just a trim) and to not give her a teddy bear cut. I think they do a great job each time and she always comes home smelling great and feeling clean. These are before and after pictures of the most recent time I took her.The most recent time I took her, she was in and out in 2 hours even though when I came in there was a long line of other dogs to be groomed as well. I pay less than $40 (not including tip).Will be back!

Our dog Rex has been going to Petsnart since he was 6 months old- he is 14 years old-turns 15 in September. I heard about this place from a fellow poodle owner.. I was greeted with a smile and they treated Rex so beautifully. He looks amazing and he didn’t have to stay all day like he does with Petsnart.! Thank you-🐾🙏🏼

I recently visited The Dog House for grooming and was thoroughly impressed. The staff were welcoming, scheduling was easy, and the prices were reasonable. My dog looks amazing after their grooming session. Highly recommended!

This is sad. Words can’t describe how disappointed I am in myself for taking my yorkie here. Never in his 8 years of being my pet has he ever been harmed or even injured like these photos in the slightest until I brought him here. This is horrible. He has a cut on his neck. I’m extremely upset, and would advise anyone in the Corpus area who cares for their animals to send them elsewhere. No dog should have to experience this at their grooming appointment. This saddens me to write, and it’s awful to know that other pet owners had similar experiences.. I hope this places gets held accountable for all of the animals they have injured and traumatized.

first time taking my dog here (she’s a chow chow) and it was a very friendly environment. and the price oh my god!!! i was expecting to pay $70+ because my dog has a lot of hair and it came out to like $48. will be coming here for pet grooming👍🏻

Been taking my mom’s dog Daisy the Chihuahua here for a couple of months now and so far we love it. They take care of her so good she always come back to us happy and smelling so good ! Highly recommend this place with affordable prices.

We've been taking our dog, Ruby, here every few weeks for about a year and we've never had a bad experience. We're charged less than $17 to get her a bath, nails trimmed, and ears cleaned. Ruby is a short hair dog, and they told me that factors into the price which makes sense.They recommend you take your dog in before 11am if you don't want to make an appointment. They're usually finished within a couple hours and they call you when your dog is ready.The staff have always been good with Ruby, which is huge, although admittedly I've never seen how they operate in the back.

The Dog House has been doing a good job with our pooch (pooches, now) for almost two years. Bath, trim, clip, dip, express, etc. No teeth cleaning, though. Pet-sensitive owners. Reasonable rates. Local & family-owned business. 🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕

I’ve taken my dog here a few times and he always comes home terrified and throwing up. My poor guy doesn’t want to play or even come out of his crate. He is usually so happy and playful but he’s just not himself after this appointment. I should have taken the time to read reviews before taking him. But I will definitely not be taking him back!! So many people have awful things to say about this mom and pop business.

The very nice lady that I believe owns this new grooming store gave me money for the bus and I was so happy to see such genuine generosity I have to tell her thank you again and I will always remember nice lady and the people that were kind to me at the Dog House Pet Supplies and Grooming store and GOD BLESS them and their business and whoever is reading this. Brought my Patches, and now bring my Puddles to this place. They used to shake with fear when I took them to Petsmart or Petco for grooming, Patches and now Puddles always seem to look to forward to coming here.

A friend of mine comes here quite often with her pooch and they recommended this place. But my experience, I was disappointed with how they did my baby. My boyfriend had gone to pick her up after being groomed and he didn’t notice but when he brought her to me, I finally saw my baby I was happy at first until I saw her poor paw was cut. At drop off, the groomer was nice - spoke short and rushed. But I’m surprised they didn’t ask me how I wanted her groomed, just did what they thought she should be cut like.

when i picked her up i was charged and nothing was said to me it wasn’t until i got in the car and noticed my puppy’s eye was red and had a vessel popped, i immediately went back in calm and asked why her eye was like this, they then told me it was due to shampoo, and proceeded to tell me my puppy was feisty and it could have been her touching her eye. I’ve shampoo my puppy many times and i know shampoo would not have done this, i understand accidents happen but tell me don’t just give me my shihtzu back and expect me not to noticed, if i could give a zero i would

So took my dog Mia in to get her a bathe and her nail’s clipped and her hair trimmed and ear cleaned..They did a terrible job they did not trim her nails and cleaned her ears like I asked them to.They left her bald.I don’t know what they did to her but she looked very sedated not herself.Please be careful they don’t do what they are ask too.They are just taking your money…Mind you this is not the first time she comes home like this.I called around 12 noon to see if she was ready and Charlie said no she still not ready but we will call when she is ready so I waited so it’s was already 3pm and I just decided to drive over there she already had been there 6.5 hours mind you I drop her off at 8:30am..So I get there and Charlie sit at the front desk playing on his phone so I asked him is Mia ready his like let me check.Then he comes back oh ya she ready I’m like thanks for the call.Never again will I take my poor puppy there.I don’t not recommend this place.Terrible Business

We call a day or two ahead and make an appointment, even though we used to do walk-ins. All great businesses just get busier, suggest everyone call first and everyone use the dog house. Nice folks, quality grooming, at a fair price.

We love The Dog House,they do a great job on our Persian Cat. It's hard to find groomers that do cats . They're always very friendly and accommodating. We also have taken our terrier mix and he always looks and smells great when we pick him up,have used them for years.

Always seemed to hate my dog, groomer was longed faced,greedy, angry looking, her boy kid worker, voiced out here comes that loud crying barker to her in back for her to hear. Do not take your pet here, I'm still apologizing to my dog. Close this place down, the man in the front was pretty nice but who knows he wasn't.

4/13/23 The Dog House on Alameda does pet grooming. My boy came out looking like a million bucks! He is a Blue Healer and with a "summer cut" he looks totally awesome. Thank you "Dog House" for doing such a pleasing cut. He will last till end of summer now and not be so effected by the heat. Thanks!👍

My Great Dane has never looked or smelled better! They did an incredible job in getting him clean and smelling good. Highly recommend.I did have to pick him up as soon as they were done because he was so big to hold in a kennel but that wasn’t an inconvenience for us, so we were there as soon as they called. The staff was super friendly and everything smelled nice and clean when walking in.
