I know Petco is known for improper husbandry, but keeping sick/starving animals on the sales floor is disgusting and abuse. Not only does this location have 5-6 chameleons in a single horizontal tank, but had an emaciated one on the sales floor. At least act like you care.

Do not ever get your dog microchipped here. We decided to take our dog here because we were told by the cashier they offered the service after explaining that our dog was lost. We took her Saturday and not even a few hours later my boyfriend found the chip in his bed, luckily it was found right away otherwise it would’ve done no good. Very unprofessional and the person who helped told my boyfriend we needed to get our dog’s teeth pulled as well which made no sense. Go to a professional veterinary clinic and save your time and money. I called customer service they seemed unconcerned and I have still not been called back and assisted. Very disappointed.

Has a pretty decent selection of pets such as mice, hamsters, guinea pigs, ferrets, fish, lizards, snakes, turtles and more. Prices were a bit steep for the bigger pets. It's a smaller store so it is more limited on pet supplies. Pretty clean although some aisles were blocked and cramped.

Great place. Service is also great. Before taking my money , the cashier went online to see if the product was cheaper on their website. It was and she price matched it . Saved me 5$. Awesome. 😊

My daughter and i just stopped here to get a crab and ended up buying a beta fish and tank and all the accessories. The lady in the aquatic section was super helpful and able to answer any of our thousands of questions! The hermit crab was however twice as expensive as other stores but they're hard to find in the area as everyone is running out so we went ahead and got it.

The store is in very good condition. My only concern was that when I was there they had only one person to attend the cashier but when she arrived she answered all our questions. She was very nice and explained everything with details.

Just left here. 7 people waiting in line. Manager sees it then walks to the back. The poor cashier starts jumping from one register to another to get people through. Handling in line customers and online orders. Whole older worker assumed as the manager has her coffee

I moved to Texas from Florida. I've been going to petco for grooming for near a year in FL. I went online here in TX to set an appointment, it quoted me $65 per dog, which was correct. I get to the store and they change the price to $98 per dog.I won't fall for this bait and switch tactic. There are many groomers in this area whom charge significantly less than this. Stop falsely advertising lower prices online. I will NEVER go back to Petco for grooming.Also the people in the grooming area were rude! No thanks, I'll take my business elsewhere.

We had such an awesome experience from the manager to the floor assistant they were so nice and helpful we bought 2 geckos and a whole aquarium set up awesome staff

I don't always love how expensive PetCo is but tonight I had a really good employee experience I have to say something about :)Nobody likes the customer who comes in 5 minutes before the store closes but tonight I had a minor emergency and it was unavoidable. Mo was SO friendly and helpful! She helped me get the exact product I needed and even helped me get a great deal on a carrier!!You're a rockstar, Mo! Thanks so much for making my night that extra bit less stressful

12/27/23 I went in to buy 20 or more fish. The GLOFish which usually sell for $10 each were on sale. You buy 3 and you get 1 free. I go to pay and they jacked up the price to $13 each. So you really dont get one free. They are scamming their customers. I thought they were better than that. Inhad 23-26 fish I was going to buy. After catching them in the scam, I left all the fish there.

Such a disorganized store. Grabbed one item from a middle shelf and had several fall on me.Later went to check out and was given birthday coupons for my pup so I tried to use them. I asked the cashier if I was able to use both at once and her response was “I don’t know” and despite me trying to work with her to test it, she gave short responses and clearly didn’t care about her job. I get it. She probably makes minimum wage and dislikes her job, but she was also rude to the person behind me in line. Looked like she was a teenager, ticket said her name was Angie but no name tag in sight.I usually don’t like leaving negative reviews but sometimes something as little as a short interaction at a cash register is enough to leave a bad taste in someone’s mouth for a business.

Had a great experience today at Petco was holding a lot of my pet stuff and a gentleman by the name of Charlie helped me with all the deals and I got matching pajama sets for me and my dog and $30 off my entire order. Staff here is very helpful five stars all the way around!

I enjoy the products that are available to our pets. The only thing we noticed was the lack of customer service that is not provided. The PETCO here in Corpus Christi, Texas needs help with just that. My daughter and I were just at PETCO on 30Jan24, and was treated like we were not even there. We actually had to go find people to help us and when we did, it was like we were inconvenience to them.

Adopted a dog, set up a grooming appointment online. And because terrier mix wasn't a breed option. They canceled my appointment when I arrived for the appointment because the breed wasn't correct. Even though I selected terrier and marked that he had long hair.

Bought a couple guppies that looked very healthy and happy, the girl that helped us was very nice. However, within a week the Ich revealed itself. We won't be returning them because I suspect they'd just die in store and I'd rather treat them myself. I knew better than to buy fish from Petco but they looked so healthy 🤦🏻. Let that be a warning I guess.

There's never an associate on the floor to answer any questions that me or the wife may have. The pet stuff here is a little pricey, but Snowball does love the cat toy that we bought her. She's been playing with it for a month and a half and doesn't seem to get bored of it. However, because there's not many associates on the floor, and the fact that they're a tad bit pricey here, I'm giving it 3 stars. Hiring a little more staff to be on the floor and perhaps more competitive pricing on their pet supplies, may bring my review up two more stars. You're doing OK, Petco. Please just make a couple of improvements and then color me impressed.As promised: Since it would seem that more associates are on the floor helping, I am raising my review up one star. The manager is very helpful and the people up front are helpful, too. Thank you for taking my feedback, Petco! Product is still a tad bit on the pricey side, but I am sure this cannot be helped. Still, good job, Petco!

Check your receipts before leaving the store, I am a Vital Care Premier member and the lady at the register said she applied my discounts. After getting home and reviewing the receipt she did not apply the discounts. Will do all my shopping online from now on.

Every time I go in this store to buy a fish, I am never disappointed. They are so we’ll taken care of, I love to hear that they have people employed to take care of the animals. Other pet stores I have gone to, the fish look dead or dying. I will only give Petco my business for all my fish needs. Go here if you want a well taken care animal, fish, or reptile.

I didn't get the name of the young lady that helped me buy my guinea pig - but she was so sweet and helpful and even though she was staying very busy, she gave excellent customer care! The small animals were all in great looking condition and their enclosures were clean and tidy. The guinea pigs had ample hay. Those things are unfortunately a rarity amongst pet stores. I got a female to pair with a blind adult female that I rescued over a year ago. They absolutely LOVE each other and I am over the moon! Leslie did an awesome job grooming my 4 1/2 month old puppy. He looked so cute when I picked him up. The salon was nice and clean and every employee that I spoke with was friendly and helpful. I will definitely go back there for my pup's grooming!

Petco is very nice to go to. I love how you can see the people grooming animals as soon as you walk in. The reptile section and bird section is always very nice to walk through. Even the fishes looked great. The only thing is I wish they had a larger cat section even though at this petco this is the largest I've seen it at most pet stores tho the cat section Is usually small. Either way they had what I needed at a decent price.
