Tried to return brand new jumper cables that were never used and still in an unopened box, only returning because my husband thought the length was too long. The lady at the Harbor Freight return counter opened the box and told me that the cables had been used even though the box was unopened and cables never used. They stated they need to charge me a restocking fee, which was ridiculous. So ended up keeping the cables and will just not go back to Harbor Freight.

Typical day at Corpus Christi Harbor Freight. I see 3 people browsing the aisles and 9 people In line. I am sure everyone checking out they ask for their phone number and try to enroll them in the stupid savings club wasting everybody’s time. Took me one minute to find my product and will be 5-10 minutes to get out. Management needs to prioritize the check out experience or corporate needs to prioritize new management.

Terrible experience due to the lack of professionalism of the two employees who made us feel as if answering our simple questions regarding a non refundable $400+ purchase somehow was due to our lack of common sense. We were told they had no manager on duty and refused to provide any contact information for this location and went on to explain that info was not available for customers. Nichole and Cheyenne are very poor representatives of a what I consider a very good company. We travel frequently and have visited countless locations and this is the first bad experience we have had. I would gladly discuss more details about this visit with a member of management. Corpus Christi has multiple locations and I don't recommend this one!

My car would not start at store next door to Harbor Freight. I had no tools with me so went in Harbor Freight and bought some adjustable wrenches. Miss Bee ( I think that was very nice lady at checkout). I told her had problem with car starting. She immediately called someone to cover her position and moved her car over couple parking places, took out her (new) jumper cables and helped me connect to my car. Needed to charge for awhile so she left me with her car, keys and jumper cables. This young lady didn’t know this old man from anyone. Eventually started(my cars battery cable was tarnished and not making connections). Harbor Freight is now my go to for anything I need! The courtesy, professionalism and effort of this young lady is fantastic! Thank you

I've bought a lot of tools there and never had any problems with the warranties but here lately they are very resistant to warranty out any tools! The service isn't what it used to be when it comes to warranties. Overall, their products are reasonably priced and their service is pretty good. I still buy their products but read the fine print on their warranties.

Fairly new store in this shopping area. Employees were nice and helpful. Tools are priced competitively. China tools! So don't expect them to last forever. If you want quality tools go down to shienburg tool off agnes and don't forget your pocket book. You pay for what you get I'd say.

This is really a great store. Discount home improvement. You have to keep in mind that you really get what you pay for. So don’t get frustrated when something breaks sooner than you would like or it’s not quite as good as the real thing. This location is never really that busy so shopping here is kinda fun and relaxing.

Will no longer do business! If I could give no stars I would. Came in to purchase a US General Tool Box today and had a 20% Off Coupon. The Disclaimer on the coupon says it can’t be used on any of the following brands and lists them off. No where on the coupon does it say it excludes US General or Tool Boxes. When asked where does it say on the coupon it can’t be used for our tool box the employee representative said “it doesn’t say it on there but it never works on them”! POOR Customer Service, POOR Advertising, POOR Satisfaction, and overall very disappointed they will and are advertising a coupon that doesn’t exclude what we were there to purchase but yet we’re still unable to use it, and the store couldn’t even tell us why other than oh it doesn’t work!!

Store was clean but the manager seemed like he didn't want to be there or bothered. The district manager needs to let the manager know him that customer service is very important. Cashier was very friendly.
