I have never been to a worst location. Employees are always in the back on their phones. If not they follow you around the store like you are stealing. They have cameras that do that already. No reason to stalk my daughter. When you ask for assistance they blow their breath and roll their eyes. Drag their feet and make comments while helping you.The self check out register are always out of bags and if not they are put on there crazy and hard to get apart. Receipts are piled up at every register and trash cans full underneath. The manager at this location is completely rude. My daughter went in to ask for a job months ago and she wouldn’t even look my daughter in her eyes. They’ve never had anyone of color there so maybe that’s why we get treated so badly. They can’t keep employees for longer than a month and disappear if registers go down. Take the 3 mins extra to go to the one by flour bluff high school. It’ll be worth your time and peace.

I hesitate to even give a one star. The manager or whatever she is, should consider a different line of work. Screaming and yelling across the store at another employee that was Working, that she needs lunch. A couple of times I have been in there when Dorothy was blaring inappropriate music from her phone so loud you can't hear anything else. I have also been in there while Dorothy has been on the phone and can't be bothered by customers,even while checking out. I am not going to be going back to this store again. I will be going to the one by high school.

There was this one employee, I'm not sure the name, but they were so rude when I asked for help because the check-out needed age verification for our alcohol purchase. They had a look on their face of pure annoyance and they did a frustrated sigh/breath and let's not forget about the 5 year old pouting fast-paced walk they did. I honestly wanted to just go back to my boyfriend and tell him to leave all our stuff there at the self-check out, and just leave after they went up to my boyfriend and said in annoyance, "ID" with their measly little hand waiting for my boyfriend to give them his ID. Let's also keep in mind that I had to keep saying "hello?" about 5-6 times because no one was up front! I then had to go on a scavenger hut to find an employee, and the employee I found, was the one i'm referring to. They are always rude!!! How are they still working here because I know for sure they get other people complaining??? They must be doing "SOMETHIN" right........

Oh yes, I had a listen to three items gonna be a quick and easy trip in the dark general it out. I get to Dollar General at 8:52 and the stores close doors are locked. I didn’t think the store closed until 9 PM Wednesday night.

Kaia was clearly in a very bad mood. I experienced just about 0% customer service. Had to search around the store just for them to march up the the checkout like I was a burden. This store seems way to new for such disenfranchised employees.As of Mar 16 2024, Kaia still doesn't give a damn about their job. No greeting , couldn't be bothered to look up from their phone.

The only pleasant thing about the store on Waldron and Yorktown was the cashier Steven. The Mgr and a female employee ignored me , I had to but in and interrupt their conversation to get some help, and then the Mgr called upon Steven to help me. Apparently, the two women didn't have time to help anyone. I can only hope that they will learn a thing or two from Steven. Do better Dollar General when hiring!

Visit this store 3 times a week, it's an awesome store. Lots of products, self serve, awesome staff. Very relaxed. My go to for a quick snack or beverage.
