Was told by an employee ALL yellow tag items were half off, and these signs seemed to imply as much too, but I was refused my discount on one of my bigger priced items. Manager just hid away in the break room and was very unhelpful.

Found what I need. I have 5 stars bc it wasn't very dirty or busy. But I wish the company would allow their employees to work the truck in a manner that makes the store clean.

Usually shop at Dollar General with no issue and had purchased 2 Smart Water 6-packs for $1 each a few days previously. This time the clerk informed me they were priced at $5.15 and when I retrieved the price from the shelf I was informed by the manager that the price was incorrect and she would not honor it because she would "lose money". Admittedly, I was amazed by the deal and thought it too good to be true but still you would think they would honor the posted price. Shop somewhere else, I know I will.

Apparently they don’t close at 10pm they close at 9:30pm wish they would’ve said that on the website.

I am a regular at the store, anything we need at my job I go buy there. But yesterday I went in to get a pack of cigarettes and the manager with long black hair Id me.. which I did not have my id with me so I said ok, mind u she has seen my id before because I always buy my cigarettes there... Than she goes off saying no matter what she will Id me to buy beer n cigarettes all the time.... I am twice the legal age all I told her was I was gonna leave a picture of my id there since I'm always in tht store..... But guess what because off tht manager Dollar General just lost mybusiness.... That manager never has a smile on her face she's always very rude. How sad she has to be like that. The store is always ..dirty and she treats her employees very bad

Great deals! Most things organized on shelves. Only negative would be stock can be low on some items bc Corpus picks thru so much. There are other locations thankfully if there missing something, I normally end up hitting another store after tho.Overall Pretty good place 👌

The staff is what makes this store great. Clothes are a mess, but worth looking through. Great grocery selection. Frozen foods too. Paper products are decent selection. Need to expand make up and skin care. At least bring in LA Colors, Wet and Wild or even Elf. Do carry Maybelline, some Cover Girl but rest is poor quality.

Generally I have nothing against dollar general. They are normally nice little convince stores. This one was a complete mess. Stuff was everywhere isles were half blocked off. There was an entire row of shelves that you couldn't reach anything on the shelves through the mess in front of it.

I guess I like the chaos and clutter that is Dollar Gen... I can't really think of any reason else why I go there. Convenience, I guess. Prices, maybe on a few things, but really the people who work there are usually really friendly and they help with whatever they can to get it in your bag if they've got it to sell and that's probably my favorite part of the place

Dollar General is a convenient way to pick up various grocery store items instead of going to a big store. Even though the store is smaller, they carry many of the major brands of food, drinks, snacks and various household items. Checking out was quick and easy.

Your usual Dollar General. Items laying every where a little cluttered. Service not the best. Had to wait awhile for cashier to show up to check out. But they have about everything you want at a more than reasonable price.

staff was great there was someone from another store that was there helping out. As always the the Isles were extremely messy and crowded there always boxes whatever day you go on and it's hard to get through even one person and I'll and everything's mixed up so the prices are even the sales items are all mixed up and in the dollar I owe you never know which is going to be the the dollar

Yes, great place and staff very friendly.. one particular person was so helpful her name was I think Clarissa will be back.. due to her services. Helper me out the door when I couldn't make it. Very lovely child

Been in there twice so far and the employees were very nice and helpful. Will go back again. The young man that was there my first trip went out of his way to help me. The other gentleman was very kind and extremely friendly. Thank ya'll

Cashiers greet you as you walk in. There is lots of stocking bins and palettes in aisles which makes shopping awkward when practicing social distancing. Another shopper or yourself have to come into direct contact because of navigating around within aisles. Dark and Grimy was the theme inside which looks bad to the DG brand unfortunately. I have to count my stuff after every visit to Dollar General because of a previous visit I was loading my bags into my car and someone stole my just purchased bags from inside store cashier station. I even told the cashier I was going to come back inside for my items. How does that happen? $32 dollars of goods and they never returned my follow up calls. I think I am no longer going to Dark&Grimy out of convienence. I'll drive another block to a competitor.

This place is like any other Dollar General or Family Dollar. This one is one of the most popular in Corpus Christi. It has pretty long lines and is always restocking. Overall, I think this is a good place to go for a quick shopping spree.

This store is always clean and well organized. They have a great selection of merchandise. Employees are always very friendly and actually have a conversation with the customer.

Good place to grab stuff you need without having to go to the big crowded stores. Really like the recent remodel of the isles as It feels roomier now. The staff is usually friendly.

Line is always long with another employee present but for unknown reasons, unable to assist. Also, aisles and shelves always blocked with merchandise in totes or empty boxes.

This store was a mess, couldn't find what we were looking for. They had a lot of the aisles blocked with merchandise to be set out, and items not in the correct area.

I wish they had more workers theres always a line when i go there. The workers are usually pretty nice, but there needs to be more support for the cashier.

I like Dollar General because of digital coupons. One complaint is that when the have items on clearance they are rarely priced marked. It's frustrating to have to find someone and ask.

It's great. Prices are good also in and out service. You don't have a lot of lines like other grocery stores.
