Prices always ring up much higher at the register than the price tags / sale tags on the shelves. Inventory is good, but I often find products too close to the “best by / expiration date” sitting on the shelves as well. You are much better off just making the trip to H-E-B or Walmart than shopping at Dollar General.Hopefully they improve their business practices. Until then, the best I can rate this location is a two star store.

I love coming here because everything has a good price and the staff get you in and out quickly. I didn't spend more than 6 or 7 minutes to buy my kitten some treats and food. Staff was cheerful even though the line was really long and even joked with me. Only thing that got me is the prices. Walmart has cheaper prices for the stuff I bought and I'd have expected this place to be cheaper. Nevertheless, it was a good visit. Great job, guys!!

Poor Customer service. I asked if the store if they had any starch to iron clothes. The tellers said to we usually over stocked in that item. But we don't. We probably have it in the back shelf. I haven't made time to unpack stocked items.

Had a bad experience at 2 other dollar generals. The manger from this location was very nice & professional. Asked to help me at this location what the other location didn’t want to do. Will definitely shop at this one even though it’s a little far from where I live.

I like shopping at this Dollar General..Ms Sarah is an awesome manager with great customer service skills. With that being said she leads a great customer service crew which includes Ms Velma..Ms Annabelle n a couple others as well. Thank u ladies for making my shopping here a great experience! Great for a quick stop. I like to shop here when I am in a hurry and don't want to get in a long line at a full size, discount department store. The prices are not as good as the big stores. But, it's more about the convenience. The only things I don't like about the store is, I feel cramped, inside the store and when I go into the store about a sale item, none of the employees know what it is, that's on sale.

They've been closing early, think at 8, cause "it was too hot for them" wasn't that bad. Also been calling and calling no answer. I'd rather go to Family Dollar. It's sad cause I like right down the street an I will not go there

Luv Luv this place. Has loads of items with a quick check out. If you're in rush..it's the same price as the local grocery store. Less people..quicker check out! And they are everywhere in the city. So why not shop at these great little places?

This store has to be the most NASTIEST, UN SANITIZED, UN PROFESSIONAL, MOST DISGUSTING, DOLLER GENERAL IN CORPUS CHRISTi!!!!!! THESE SO CALLED WORKERS LET STRAY DOGS EAT AND SLEEP IN THE STORE WHERE EVER THEY LIKE, AND THESE DOGS GOT HUMONGOUS TICKS & FLEAS ALLLLLL OVER THERE BODIES, SPREADING THERE SPECIES ALL OVER THE STORE. No one seems to do anything about it so I guess its not a crime To kick one In the face. Oh and then I had bought a bag of chips and they were alll bitten on the bottom. SMHHHH🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮😷😷😷😷😷😷😷😷😷😷

This store usually have most of the items I use. But their seasonal items and the area around them can get a little messy. I can always find candy from my childhood years in the 60's.

Come here if you want to be locked out 20 minutes before they close. I only needed one thing but the lady with the blonde/orange hair locked the door and told me it was “policy” they close early even tho none of the other dollar generals do it.

Always get my greeting as I come through the door cheerful and helpful employees even though it usually is one or two in the storm which I think needs a little more in my opinion but other than that everything in the order found what I needed

This store has the worst customer service ever, very stereo typed. They hound us every time we walk in the store accusing of crimes and all we do is spend big. We asked the manager for proof of her accusations and she said she didn't have to..RUDE don't shop here if you have tattoos or look good......

I bought $81 worth of things,yet grabbing 2 bags of chips for $5 got them looking at me as if i was going to run out with them😒. I was looking out for my ride!(lyft) the cashier seriously called out the other workers name and she was like i got it smh ...yall looking at me yet someone probably had stole right under yalls nose,cause yall to busy looking at someone who just spent $85+ there smh terrible terrible..

This place has gotten a lot better. There used to be blocked isles and displays were all a mess. They must have changed managers. Great work ladies.

Employee named Nina was being rude i told my wife she was being rude and Nina said, " i know im rude and i dont care or maybe ur just sensitive today." My wife told her "stop talking to her like that." Nina then said, " whatever i can say what i want and shes being sensitive today i dont care if im rude." Cashier named Nina then shoved everything we bought into one bag and it was ripping i had to grab another bag to keep my items from falling on the floor! She was very rude and disrespectful!!!!!

This place is messy! Gardening tools on display sticking out at eye level! Sure it has wheelchair parking and entrance but when you get inside there is no room to maneuver! Carts with merchandise blocking isles and a fire hazard due to rear exits blocked also!!!

It's got good prices on cheap item's. Just a dollar buys you one item like a small box of instant coffee singles, or a small bag of a candy.
