Stepping into this Dollar General is like diving headfirst into a pit of abysmal customer service. I would willingly face the chaos of the DMV without an appointment rather than subject myself to the sour attitudes of the employees here. Each encounter with these disgruntled individuals only solidifies my belief that they are harboring some deep-seated resentment towards the world. Witnessing them shamelessly overcharge customers, raise their voices in anger, and belittle others is a regular occurrence. Consider this a cautionary tale - you have been duly warned.

So many times being in that store is always homeless and drug atticks around not safe around this place, the cashier register see me and my son by register and walk away didn't even say nothing to pick up shoping card in parking lot ,Very rude ladys work there , store very dirtyNever again

The employees are very nice and helpful. Only bad thing i can say about this store is that it is always messy. You can't walk in the isles without moving something out of way. The front to get in line to check out, barely has any space to walk with your basket. Place needs to be cleaned up and especially organized.

Dollar General is one of my favorite stores to purchase all my paper goods as well as essentials for the house. Prices are very reasonable and everyone is friendly and helpful when you need assistance. I look forward to my next visit. Thanks.

I really like the people who work at Dollar General they are willing to help me in different situations like finding something or if something isn't working when checking out they will get the same thing and do it again so that I leave with what I came for sure they have set rules as I find them to be reasonable the best part is when you enter they say Hello or Hi welcome to Dollar General most other stores don't that's what keeps me going back to the store on Staples st. close to park they are the best!

Friendly staff, great customer service and had what we needed. Sunscreen, swim stuff and activity books as well as my favorite Monster flavors. Stocked up on a bag of ice and went on our adventure.

A little unable to go through the isles, especially with truck day. Isles small. Only one person one way at a time. Some staff courteous. Others extremely rude and combative. Overall I enjoy my visit and shopping experience with them!!

When one goes to a Dollar General, one knows exactly what they will find and where it will be. For instance I purchased a red set of towels in Tyler, TX several years ago and I needed a few more face towels and there they were, to the right in the back of the store. Nice parking lot here as well.

Not bad for being in the Bluff. It has all the things you would need on a tight budget. Plus, they take food stamps so if you don't have a vehicle, it's within walking distance.

Place is very unorganized. The isles have merchandise on the ground. Many of the shelves are either empty or just messy. It looks like a child's messy room with clothes all over the floor. You have to move things around because it will be hard to push your basket and walk around. Empty boxes are every where. The place is in a very much need of cleaning and organization.

Store is so crammed full of stuff difficult to find anything. Small isles. Decent prices.. Looking for a fast way to get just one or two items, if you know they have these items they're cheaper than a convience store and just as fast in and out of the store.

Store was very clean however did not have correct sale prices posted. There were 2 store clerks working one was very sweet and tried to be as helpful as she could the other was very rude and had me go back to get 4 different items that were not the correct sale.

Dollar General is conveniently located on S. Staples between Park and Coleman Ave. The store is open from 8 AM until 9 PM Monday thru Saturday and Sunday from 9 AM until 9 PM. They have a vast selection of foods, seasonals, home cleaning supplies and more, all reasonably priced. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly.

I have never seen so many disrespectful employees and the manager not doing nothing about it? It's like everybody just just what they want talk to people how they want they never help you get what you need or try to accommodate you in any kind of way but getting your money

The Dollar General in Ingleside is great well organized, good selection of items, employees really knowledgeable and very helpful, now as for the Portland Dollar General?!! well the store, the 'manager,' the employees, it selection, all needs to be "tweaked a lot" a good Makeover, it's the only one in that area of Portland, now there is a *DOLLAR TREE* that's right on, I'm just saying "it is what it is".

Been going to this a few times the older cashier always seems to be mad I told her someone was Stealing she was bothered, every time I go she gives me a ugly look with her fake love comment. Won't be going anymore plenty of other places to and my shopping

This store sucks. Their is never anyone at the register. The people who work here are so rude! The store is dirty and gross and they are way way over priced. The only reason I ever go their is because it's close to my house. Hate this store

Went in for 40$ cash back the cashier said did you want cash back I said yes she said she couldn’t do it not even knowing how much I wanted cash back I left and went back in and said you don’t even know how much I want cash back what if I wanted 10$ then she said she could do it worst customer service ever

I don't know how much you can say about a dollar store, but the store was cleaner than other Dollar Generals I've been in, and our cashier was quick and friendly.

Pretty good prices and always quick if you need to run in and run out they have everything from food to clothes to ahouse decor. There's things for the whole family at pretty good prices.

There are items that I cannot find at the big box grocery store. I love the store brand items especially salad dressing, steel wool pads, and toilet paper.

Went to buy products advertised on clearance & have tried several stores to find nothing on the shelf & manager states that products not available at that store but I could not tell me which store had them. Not good advertising strategy for people who have limited means! If i had the money i would buy at target or walmart.

I love Dollar General because I always find good bargains. But I couldn't find Lysol spray, not enough generic. Sad!
