Always appreciate the coffee and service at this shop. Definitely one of the best in town. The service is great too and usually fast. Parking can be difficult during peak times but nothing major. I highly recommend.Vegetarian options: Some vegetarian options are provided.Parking: There's parking in front and around the shop but can be hard to find during peak times.Kid-friendliness: This place is good for kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair access provided.

Needed some coffee and a place to get some work done so I stopped by on a whim.Because of the name I was anticipating the place to be beach themed but instead it had what almost felt like a medieval theme, with a cheap looking, fake, large brick backsplash. Overall the place looked somewhat cozy, it was just not what I expected from the outside.I ordered an iced lavender latte and the coffee itself was pretty good.All in all I got some work done and got the caffeine I came for. They had some interesting looking menu items that I would consider returning to try if I was in the mood for a sweet treat type coffee.

I was recommended by a friend about this coffee place and let me tell you, thank god I found this place. The building itself if really pretty! My go to drink is “Christmas in a cup”, like it’s soooo good! It taste exactly like it sounds it’s just simply amazing. I highly recommend that drink!! Drive thru goes by fast! Friendly staff as well!

Friendly staff, prompt efficient service; tasty beverages! Indoor and outdoor seating. Spacious yet cozy ambiance. Clean facilities. Family friendly. We spent a couple hours chatting with family and friends. Only distraction was the chairs screech on the tile floor when moved, which happened multiple times - to be expected but horribly jarring in an otherwise delightful atmosphere.

Walked into the bathroom and the smell of mildew was strong enough to make my stomach queasy. Sure enough it was from a leak in the ceiling that they elected to expose and embrace instead of repairing.Pricey with a limited breakfast selection, but coffee is better than Starbucks and the staff is much friendlier. Got a great atmosphere with a variety of seating options both inside and outside.

This place has such a nice atmosphere. The dining area felt very relaxed/cozy. The gelato was delicious along with the sausage egg & cheese croissant. They didn’t have much options for gelato but I’m sure it’s because I went in the evening. Only negative comment I have is when I first walked in. I felt extremely awkward. When I ordered no one really said anything until I asked questions.

I’ve been coming here for awhile and although I never have this problem at drive thru the workers inside are SO unfriendly like they absolutely hate their job. I once asked what was in one of their drinks and they looked at me like I was an alien not knowing (I’m not from the US). It’s awkward sometimes at how much they don’t seem to care about customer service.The only best think is the solitary area in the back with the brick wall. But the workers aren’t well-trained in friendliness.

The coffee is great, but the last few times I’ve been there, there has been one petite, brunette girl that works there that is incredibly rude and unhelpful.Just condescending and impolite. And it’s enough to have me stop going there and start driving just a bit further to stingers where they are always polite, nice, and helpful. I’d rather spend my money there.

After writing a bad review of cross contamination. I came back because I know people can do better. The work in which did not take accountability then decide to put lactose in my coffee after I paid for it. Then it caused my IBS to act up. These workers such as jazmine are petty and mean. I have had half a sandwich stolen from me which i didn't say anything. later they messed up and made affogato with lavender lemonade Galleto. I never had any of these issues at the location in port a. I used to be a big fan of coffee waves until I came to this location.

The coffee frozen blended drinks were made very well, the scoop of coffee gelato tasted amazing, and the service was just as good. They had some nice looking pastries and sammys on the menu....we'll try some of those on our next trip.This visit had mixed results. My one scoop of cookies and cream gelato was good but they've dialed the assortment back to six flavors and coffee wasn't one of them. My wife had a frozen blended drink that turned out well. Our friend got an iced americano......they forgot her order at first, then what they brought her was weak and bitter, she mentioned it and they brought her another stronger but bitterer version....she thought it tasted like it was made from instant. We did a lot of bragging about this place....her order wasn't up to their usual high bar.

I was told to try this place out in-between classes. The drinks are good! It helps to know what to order, because the menu is basic and it seems like they have more options than what's displayed, and the people taking the orders seem rushed and as if they don't have the motivation or patience to help. I think if they tried being welcoming and friendly, they'd have more business.I came in for coffee and food and to do homework. They do not have wifi (or at least don't advertise it or give you the password) and they gave me a COLD muffin that was pretty dry and bland. The coffee was tasty but wasn't very hot. It was hard to study as well because it is super loud inside. 6/10. The place has tons of potential though!

Very pretty location, the patio was really nice. I’ve had a few issues with orders at coffee waves that I haven’t had at other coffee shops but everyone is always really polite and the atmosphere is welcoming.

On my wife's suggestion, we stopped here on our way back to Houston. I didn't go in because it was storming out but from what I could tell business is definitely good. The walk in and Drive through clientele was non-stop the entire time I was outside waiting for my wife to return.We ended up getting a Mocha Frap which is my go-to pretty much everywhere...lol. it was fairly priced at $5. The taste was good but my wife said it was a bit too sweet for her. She actually liked it better after it got watered down a bit.This was our first visit here but not our last. Hopefully next time I can go inside though. That's the reason I gave 4☆'s btw, because I couldn't go inside to get the full experience.

I have to agree with another reviewer about the lack of smiles and service. I have visited twice and not really felt welcomed. Stood in front of the counter waiting for someone to attend me (it wasn't busy mind you) and was ignored when I said hello and tried to ask a question about the menu while two baristas talked behind the counter. Coffee was OK, but was served warm not hot. Overly priced as well. I have visited the other coffee waves shop and also didn't feel like the service was that great. As a former barista, please work on your counter service. It makes a lasting impression. Will not be returning and don't recommend.

Calm, relaxing atmosphere with delicious coffee... What a combination! Definitely worth a visit. Students it's got a lot of outlets so if you want to crunch out that assignment just pop in and put on your finishing touches with a side of their seasonal coffee.

Great coffee shop ☕ and gelato place. Great caramel macchiato coffee. The gelato was very creamy and tasty, doesn't that mean that's not good for me? I have been back for the gelato and coffee.

Our daughter is visiting and wanted to try a new place for coffee , so we went here for the first time today. She was very impressed and wants to return next time she is in town. We like the ambiance of the place, the many areas to sit and all the plug ins for your devices. The Gelato was good and the coffee tasted like real coffee she said. The prices are about the same as the other well known coffee shop. It is a bit of a drive for us as we live about 35-40 minutes away, but we enjoyed our first time there. The staff was very nice to us also! Go and decide if this place fits your needs. Our daughter would say that it did hers. Have a good day!

This place is great! Prices are low, staff is very friendly, & overall great vibe. The coffee tastes *much* better than Starbucks. This is a mom & pop place, which is perfect because I don't support large corporations. They have places where you can sit, charge your phone or laptop, and hang out with friends. Perfect place where college kids can come to study. The ambience is that of a small traditional coffee shop with more modern options. Great location near the ocean. 10/10 recommend!
