I used to love shopping at Big Lots. Now even the furniture you assemble yourself is outrageously priced. Except for Christmas the toy section is dismal, AND NOTHING IS EVER RESTOCKED. I bought the last canvas laundry bag and the last quilt size closet storage bag there TWO MONTHS AGO. Been back 3 times, the racks sit empty, neither item restocked and both items replaced with exactly ZERO options. Sad.

I wanted a twin mattress that was on sale in the isle. I grabbed the mattress and brought it to the front. After shopping around for 20 minutes. I go back to the front to find it was put back. The Cashier stated “we don’t sale display models”. Me “Ok did she go look for a salable model?” . Cashier “no” . So I myself located the only other person in the store and asked her if she could look for the mattress. She comes back in less than 10 seconds and says “nope don’t have it”. Why did she not attempt to already look for it in the first place. I'm just trying to put together my son’s bunk bed for Christmas. The effort given today was pretty poor. I’m a manager at another department store and this type of customer service is absolutely not tolerated where I work. Why allow it in your stores Big Lots? I understand people call out ,especially during the holidays, and I do understand you can be short staffed at times. The effort is what I’m kind of stuck on.

Store is clean and well maintained. Well lit, and staff is helpful and friendly. We have made several purchases here of outdoor furniture, kitchen ware, and stuff for our kids apartments. You never know what you might find at a discounted price. I recommend!

The BEST Big Lots in the Corpus area. Great staff...goes the extra mile. Love their inventory. Just a fun place to shop.

Waited almost 10 minutes after the store time to open. Few people gave up and me wanting to return a defective item. I waited once inside one lady was helped right away but me they told me rudley to wait I didn't say nothing just waited patiently. I think this will be the last time I come here, the attitude and atmosphere just didn't feel welcoming. Don't take it out on a customer because your employees don't wanna show up to work, it literally seems like no one wants to work anymore.

Got a great deal on a kitchen table w/ 2 chairs that I desperately needed. $200 regular price, $70 in coupons = $130! Decent quality @ a fantastic price!!! Good customer service! No issues!! Happy customer!!!

Came to big lots at 845 Saturday night and the obese lady working stated they closed early due to a storm coming. Which the storm is in San Antonio not in corpus. Pretty pathetic reason to close early . I would rethink this employee

Took the workers 10 min or more to attend us, Lady Day worker told us what we asked for was not available,which was ..we found out by other workers at night. The night Lady worker(I wish I got her name) was Super helpful. Ladies during day shift at cashier had no idea of what we were asking about, How can u work somewhere and be so lost😐. Prices on huge items were not correct it was more a price to catch your attention they later give you the correct pricing.Which is above and beyond🤔. They do have interesting items on sell, Lots of space to move around. And clean.

Found everything I needed. Mind you somethings had gone up in price but that's everywhere. The thing is the price on their items are the same as the big groceries stores. Not all? Still I like Big Lotscashiers / co- managers the ladies always greet with a smile and are ready to assist you with any questions.

The manager who was therethis morning does not know what she's doing..I return a cellphone holder this morning because it didn't work the way I wanted too .had my recipe and everything and she could not do the transaction. and than she decides to put a young man down who was helping me first and was doing a good job. That made me mad. she just gave me the $10.00 cash instead of transferring to my account since I paid with my credit 💳

I came in for an electric mixer, they had a good variety. I was actually surprised that they carried Black & Decker products.The store is very cluttered! It is conveniently located and it wasn't crowded. They have Great prices. The lady at the checkout was very nice. Overall it is a decent store. Beats going into a Wal-Mart.

The quality and selection of goods has really improved in this store! I used to think Big Lots had the same quality as K-Mart, but now the home organizers and decor have really stepped up! I love walking around the store and getting ideas and having so many options in the same colors. I just took advantage of their friends and family sale and stocked up on some really awesome organizers, like ones you would find in more expensive stores, and the prices were really good, like discount store good. This store is becoming one of my go to stores for home stuff!

It's like a mini Walmart. But without an oil change or tire service. However, they have everything else. I like this location because the staff members are super nice. And it's by my residency. Oh, yes they always have affordable prices on anything you like ☺️

The store is never perfectly clean, but it's usually in better shape than the other location in Corpus. This one doesn't seem to have as quite as unique merchandise as some of the other Big Lots, as it's a little on the small side (or at least the layout makes it feel this way). But still, Big Lots is Big Lots. Good deals on household products and always something interesting or new to try out.

Comfortable place to shop. Usually clean and in order. Staff and store manager do their best to help accommodate customers to the best of their ability. Excellent choice of furniture and accessories. Good prices on furniture and end tables.

I love this store, but I recently asked about the easy leasing and it’s not so easy. The employees didn’t give out much information and when I called the progressive company they said there would be no processing fee. It even says it on the website. Then I go into the store and one employee not gonna say names told me he wouldn’t recommend the leasing because there is a processing fee and you pay way more for the product then it would be to buy out right. I didn’t follow through with it because if they lie about one thing then I’m sure the rest of it is a scam. Love the store though and the items they have.

The manager Norma was very rude. Took merchandise back the next day I bought it. I had receipt but no tags. I told her we were just there the day before. She just was not nice about it at all. Even other co-worker heard her tone of voice and told me she's like that with everyone. Well she should not be that way with customers!

I love shopping at Big Lots! They have some unique item. They have great prices on some merchandise and average prices on other items. If you shop around a little bit before you make your purchases, you will see the items of greater value. I have found the electric fireplaces are a great value. There are even some items that are priced cheaper than at Walmart.

I went for one thing under $20. I came out with $60.Big Lots always have more of what I'm looking for and reasonably priced. The store is clean and well stocked with great items. This store is great!

I hunt down deals with quality & & values. This is a great mini store for some your needs. Needs restocked items in the ads & prices marked on sale items. No ad paper available. Not much selection on furniture as shown on fb.

Great store. Nice selection of various items. I come for the spices. Great selection of spices. And the prices are great. The staff is friendly. And the restrooms are clean. You can even buy furniture here. Also, they have a great toy dept.

2 stars only because all the snacks I bought for my children and I expired in october....OCTOBER that's two months ago. Please check your food items (pretzels chips and cookies) Store has definitely become alot more organized than when I went about a year ago. Nothing wrong with staff and all other non food items are just fine.

I had to return a set of sheets because the bottom sheet tore just from normal use. I had bought the sheets less than two months earlier but beyond the refund date. The manager was very kind and helpful, and she gave me store credit. Also, I enjoy trying some of the "odd" food items that are not available elsewhere in this city.
