I just recently discovered the HomeBase and I'm thrilled I did. What a spectacular store! It's like a wonderful blend of Lowe's, TSC, and Academy. I browsed the store for over an hour, discovering all they have to offer.The Garden Center is spectacular! They offer beautiful, healthy plants at a great price, and they even had some plants in stock I have not been able to find elsewhere. It is a great selection! It is a must stop on your next visit. Nothing compares to their Garden Center!The staff offered unsurpassed customer service, they were super friendly, and very helpful. I love places that have terrific customer service, and HomeBase has some of the best.HomeBase is probably one of the best home improvement stores I've visited. They offer a wide and wonderful selection of so many items for your farm, home, and garden, and then some! And I truly cannot say enough about the staff and that amazing Garden Center! I love it! I feel like I found a priceless hidden gem! (And their dragon is fabulous 😊)

First visit and loved it! We stopped by after visiting the grizzly nursery. Surprisingly, quite a few of their plants were in much better shape. I think they even had more of a selection for indoor plants/non-cold hardy plants. I got a monstrous fern for under $14! Unreal. See pics.Customer service was top notch. Super friendly. They enforce face masks/coverings. Grizzly Nursery does not since it's mainly outdoors. Some employees and customers wear them. Not all, just FYI.Pretty great prices. This store reminds me of a mix of a tractor supply store and a home Depot. Highly recommend and will definitely return.Apparently, they send nicely discounted coupons via 📪. That's what brought us there initially. Become a member-it's free! They also offer military discounts. Unfortunately, they forgot to discount mine but I didn't notice until I arrived home. So, there's that. Be better than me and check prior to leaving🤦‍♀️. Besides that, great place. I'm going back💯

The manager at this store is completely useless and either refuses to help customers or gives them the wrong information like he's never even stepped foot in the store. So many family members have had issues with Marcus's laziness. The other employees are great.

This place has appalling customer service. Not only was I belittled and embarrassed by not only management but upper management for an issue that was clearly the companies fault but I was told over and over again I was wrong when clearly I was right. They acted like I was a bother to them after spending hundreds of dollars in the store. You can clearly tell they have no customer service training and no interpersonal communication skills. I would recommend that Tom and Diane and whoever the other lady was who I spoke with all take these courses or be fired you dont treat people who pay your salary like 🤬 and talking down to someone with a B.A isn't advisable because I will take it further than you wanted I know when im being mistreated and will do what is necessary. DONT TREAT PEOPLE LIKE 🤬 I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS STORE EVER AGAIN I WAS TREATED LIKE A CRIMINAL AND TECHNICALLY THEY STOLE FROM ME!!!! If anyone associated with this store sees this please contact me or let me contact you I would like a formal complaint submitted and a formal apology. You lost a great customer sucks for y'all I guess 🤷‍♀️

On 03/09/24 we bought a broken lawn mower at this store. We only owned it about an hour, just long enough to see that it didn't work. We were insulted, screamed at and belittled by a man named Marcus, first when my son tried to exchange the machine; then again by phone when I called to see what could be done about the broken mower. There was no need for the man's belligerent attitude and we did not deserve his abuse.I sent a complaint to HomeBase Corporate Office with a copy to the store, and disputed the payment with my bank. It puzzles me that something this straightforward turned into such an unpleasant experience,

Yesterday, I visited Homebase to purchase a space heater due to my pipes freezing. While I was assisted by a helpful employee, who was a black female with colored hair, her comment during our interaction struck me as unprofessional. After explaining my situation, she remarked, ‘Oh, you didn’t let the water drip? Wow, I would hate to be married to you.’ As someone who is new to dealing with cold weather, being from Southern California, I found this comment to be inappropriate and insensitive. It’s important for customers to feel supported and respected, especially when they are dealing with challenging situations like frozen pipes. While I appreciate the assistance in finding the product I needed, the experience was marred by this unnecessary comment. Professionalism and empathy are key in customer service, and I hope this feedback helps in improving future customer interactions.

It is hard to find someone to help. I had questions and wa there for a long time, I found on person to help me. I was looking for a cart and couldn't fine one. While struggling to carry my items, no one gave me a heads up on finding a cart, basket nothing.

The customer service at this location is so great!!The store is clean, so full of the same good stuff as the other stores however, it feels less crowded and easier to find what you need and an employee if you should need assistance. Special props to an employee named, Brett who is the embodiment of good customer service and an excellent mannered person.

Was passing through the area and stopped by to look at plants. Very organized and quite a bit varieties of plants and was very pleased with my purchases. Will definitely stop by again if I'm ever in the area. Very helpful and friendly staff in the Garden Area. They have my Green Thumb 👍

I use to think that maybe everybody working there was just having a bad day repeatedly every time I come back lol..Like do yall just hire people with no personality no drive no awareness of a customer like how can I just sit there for 15 min while every person behind the counter just stares at me..Then I get a Lil irritated so I finally walk over to them and I'm like You got anybody running the Stihl area and they was like no he won't be in for another 30 min and I'm like ok cool but all yall saw me sitting there for 15 min none of yall was like hey lets go let this guy know he won't be in for a bit but nooooo all 4 just stared and kept their conversation going. I came to check comments to see if there might be some similar comments and of course there are so basically yall suck and the owner is trash for not teaching employees to help everybody and not just stand around and talk... yall do that on ya own time. I'm sure this will just get looked over maybe even some of them lazy employees will laugh at it but in the end I'm sure this place will go under....maybe not today heck maybe not next year but when I do hear about it's final demise I'm sure it will be From the helpful people at Ace Hardware I rudely turned my back on but no worries I'm coming home To Place with the helpful hardware Folks believe that 😉

I was looking for specific metric hardware and while other stores stocked it, they had small quantities and were out of stock. Home Base had what I was looking for and had it in large quantities.

Since when is there a rain check (reservation) for $1.99 mums!? It was not advertised in your flyers of this. We came out of our way to get them, only to be told this. Their other plants are in dire need of water. We won't be back

Customer service is awful and never willing to help you find what you are looking for. They are not as friendly as Ace Hardware, Home Depot or Lowe’s. I wish I could spend the money in the community but anytime I go to Homebase they refer me to Home Depot. Never taking any suggestions to their Store Manager to see if we can request for certain items that are not in their store. I wish this store can do better but at this point I doubt they care.

This store is convenient when you're coming from the Lampasas area, instead of driving all the way out to Killeen or farther. It's like a smaller Lowes or Home Depot combined. And they offer the military discount too. Great Memorial day display.

31 March, I shopped at Homebase spent about $380 that day. I’m a casual shopper and LOYALTY member for dog food and garden supplies. On the 31 Mar. I purchased 200 pavers and asked for delivery, which the manager act as if she didn’t want to help, let’s get to the delivery. A lady came to delivering 4 April at about 6:30 pm, I disassembled my fence to the backyard. The lady tells me that she couldn’t come up on the curb, I replied, you can come up the driveway. Her reply was that her tires on the pallet Jack was bald, (it was NOT wet nor slick)and she could get struck. I said, well need them back there (it was 6pm), she replied, we ordered new tires but they need to put them on and that should be in a few days. I said can you come back when you get your tires on? The answer was yes and on 8 April Saturday(rainy day) about 9am, I seen them in my neighborhood delivering a pallet of lumber. Still waiting for my delivery 10 April 2023.

Yesterday was the first time I had been to this store and I am hooked! I was amazed at the wide selection of what this store had. Very clean. Had a wide variety of exotic plants at a reasonable price. The employees at HB are second to none. They went above and beyond helping me find what I needed and was very friendly. I definitely will be making a 40 min trip to HomeBase for all of my gardening needs.Had to do a second review: Went to Home Base again this year to buy some more tropical plants and WOW! The selection was awesome! You will not find another place for miles around that compares to this store. There are so many plants that you won’t find anywhere else and the prices cannot be beat! I LOVE THIS PLACE!

This business has saved us many trips to the next town for the larger stores. Home Base always have what we need or another product of equal value/quality. The store is very clean & organized and the staff are all very nice & helpful. It is a little bit pricey, but thankful we have it close to home. We are very pleased with all the purchases we have made.

They have a great customer service and support. Their military discount is their premium club which is a 10% off of purchases. They employees are always willing to help if you ask and they carry a great assortment of items. I prefer going here then other large stores due to quality and convenience.

Home base is a good local hometown hardware store. They have decent selection and fair prices. Everyone there is friendly and has a good attitude with the exception of one cashier. He doesn't have anything bad or good to say he's just kind of quiet.

Valspar exterior paint was on sale, so we stopped to buy some. Matt was so helpful with the paint quality and selection, taking the time to explain the differences and which one we needed for the job we are doing and color we chose. It was great getting that personal service. Very friendly staff and reasonable prices. They have a great selection of in and around the house items.
