This place was such a great spot to stop at. THE INSIDE WAS SOOOOO CUTE. The girls inside were also so nice and sweet. You can choose your soda and ice cream for the floats and their shakes are so amazing. The candy and sweets part of the store is also so good. Prices are very reasonable my Dr. pepper Float with one scoop of ice was $5. They have a very clean restroom that you do have to ask to open. ABSOLUTELY MUST STOP and at least look around.

Frio Float must of been originally located in some far away fairyland once upon a time. The atmosphere/location is wonderfully surprising. The hill country is primitive in nature which is why people enjoy visiting…then you walk into Frio Float (which by the way is a great play on words). One feels you’ve walked into someone’s private dream. Menu selection was vast. Hub and I visited during off-season and service was a bit slow. Hub ordered one scoop sundae which was delish and simple. (Suggestion: offer another nut topping other than peanuts. ) I order a rootbeer float which was great (especially impressed that choice of rootbeer brands were offered; A&W or Dad’s). Overall Frio Float was a wonderful experience. Only advice I’d give to parents/grandparents/etc is if you’re planning to take your family expect your child’s’ mind to explode upon entering this fairyland in the middle of nowhere. Bravo to the owners.🏆

This place is amazing!! They had the store so cute and awesome! Super clean. Very good selections. They even have a candy store! Witch the kids loved! It’s now a must stop! They even have treats and donuts for dogs!!! How cool is that!

It’s very cute with a selection of ice cream, sweets, and candy. They were out of mint chocolate chip, so I couldn’t quite give it a full five star review since I only like that flavor. The service was friendly and the place is darling with a small area to sit outside.

Its a cute little spot to enjoy some cream. my preference ice cream in a waffle cone. Every time I go everyone in my family gets ice cream or other cool snacks they have to offer. The price for the ice cream is very reasonable! It can get packed during the summer months so Be ready to be in a line but it'll be all your worthwhile!

This is their second year of being open and I have been there both years. It is amazing there you feel like a child. There's so much candy, knick knacks, sweet treats, and ICE CREAM!! There is a lot of combination when it comes to ordering ice cream what I got was two scoops rocky road and mint chocolate chip in a cup. Then after you are done ordering ice cream you can put the candy you bought on top and enjoy it outside the shop in the evening.P.S: There us waffle cones also

A sweet lover's dream!! This store is decorated so nicely and they have a nice selection of the cutest sweet inspired items. Chocolate and many other kinds of candy and ice cream are sold here. Several places to sit outside and enjoy your sweet treats!

Great ice cream but probably the worst service i’ve ever received in my life. Three teen girls giving serious attitude then going to the woods to smoke and coming back with red eyes to probably give even worse service. Absolutely unacceptable and I would only recommend with different, more mature, servers.

One of my favorite places here on the Frio. They have so many different candy choices, the interior is adorable. You can choose from so many different flavors of ice cream + toppings. My only complaint is the exterior is a little bland and could use some decor to make it look nice from the highway, but don’t let that deter you from going inside.

Cutest little ice cream shop! We actually spent $70 cause we left with shakes, candy, dog treats, etc. Serious lack of organization though. Waited 25 minutes for 3 shakes. Ridiculous. Might be a good suggestion to write names on the cups to easily identify. One of ours was given to another guest and we had to wait even longer. Staff wasn’t rude, but they definitely weren’t happy to be there either.

The ice cream was NOT over priced, despite what other reviews may say. The most expensive ice cream on the menu was $5.99. The staff was extremely friendly, and even offered to help me to my car, since I had a baby in my arms. It’s very cute inside, and they had tons of candy, and pastries for sell as-well, but I just got ice cream. I’ll definitely return next time I’m in concan.

Stoped by at 8:30pm to get some ice cream immediately you can tell the two employees couldn’t wait to leave! The one with the short black hair had an attitude everytime someone walked through the door loudly asking her co-worker what time was it as off to imply they close in 30mins. They didn’t have masks on and weren’t enforce mask! Also when my husband asked for and Oreo milkshake the girl with the short black hair was rude and was like there not enough when she some how made enough for another customer! My husband then asked for a cookies and cream cone you could tell she was annoyed for having to make it but did it and magically there was plenty for that and there was still some left in the tub! When we left to get in car we noticed her rolling her eyes everytime someone walked in. I can understand working a long day and being happy to go home but there is no excuse for that kind of attitude especially working in a family friendly business!

BEST ICE CREAM PLACE EVER!!!!!!I have visited multiple local businesses and never have I been treated with so much love, kindness, respect and true sense of wanting to serve you. Rebecca's and her daughter Grace treated my family like if we were their own. They didn't rush us nor did they feel like my kids were bothering when they asked for multiple flavor test.They have a great variety of options for your sweet cravings. And one thing that they have that was special for me was lactose free icecream. One of my daughters is lactose intolerant and she was restricting herself from getting ice cream and when Rebecca noticed it she asked why. When we said it was due to her health she immediately told us not to worry because they offered lactose free icecream.I will definitely take the almost 2 hour drive back from San Antonio just to visit this place again!!!!THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

Horrible service all 4 times I've been. Clearly over priced ice cream. Workers act annoyed when doing their job. Waited 5 minutes in the front of the line just for someone to come take my order. 3 girls came out complaining about how their phones aren't working. Second time I went I was just looking at the menu and one of the girls told me to find the end of the line like I was stupid. If you want horrible service and basic, overpriced Bluebell, this is definitely the place for you

I’ve come here before COVID and loved it so I came back! Well the two lady’s there were not wearing masks. They wore gloves while serving your ice cream at least. I’m glad I got the ice cream before the lady started sneezing a lot... got out of there really quick.
