This is a really cool spot in Concan, Texas. Pizzas are delicious. They’re ready in less than 10 minutes. Drinks are really good and ambience is just great. Live music and many little details around that makes this place magic. Clean restrooms, pet friendly and games for kids! The only thing is I think is a little bit over priced (just a little bit), specially drinks: drafts beer that was $10 each and Bloody Mary around $15 each.Parking: The parking lot is small but they have an additional parking spots just around the corner so that’s great!

Love, ❤️ love this place. Such a cute little place by the river where you can gather with friends, family, (including kids and fur people). They have live music drinks and such a "hippie", cool vibe. They have hamburgers and fries and make pizza on a large pizza oven behind a vw van.*item of note this is an outdoor location. Sydney Lynn has been a very nice bar tender each time I’ve visited. They have a great beer selection and make some good drinks. I like their margarita a lot. They also have a good pina colada type drink. I haven’t eaten the pizzas here but they look tasty and cook them in a brick oven

My husband and I came to Hippie Chic’s on a Saturday around 11:30 for an early lunch, and had a great experience! We loved the relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant. There is lots of shade, as well as lots of seating, so finding a comfortable place to stay out of the sun was easy to do. We ordered off the simple menu at the bar, and had a great interaction with the bartender. We weren’t sure what we wanted to drink, but she was very helpful and personable. We split the “Hippie” pizza, and were so impressed! The pizza came out very quickly (within 15 minutes), and was hot and delicious!We also really appreciated that they had taken the time to set up a table in honor of the 13 recently fallen soldiers in Afghanistan. Any restaurant who takes extra effort to pay homage to the men and women who serve our company is a restaurant that I am happy to support.If we’re ever back in Concan, we’ll definitely be making another trip to Hippie Chic’s River Shack!

Great place to eat when you need a break from the Frio River! We all had different brick oven pizzas and they were all great! Would definitely come here again and highly recommend. Outside seating only but very quaint with fans running so it was pleasant. Friendly, helpful staff to us who have never been here before.

Came to Andy's Cabins up the road for a wedding and stopped here for a few drinks and a snack to kill some time before we had to get ready. We had ordered the Hummus and it was slightly too salty, it was still a good hummus to nibble on when we drink though. We had two rounds each - two beers and two shots of tequila to "prepare"! Suffice it to say, two rounds each, the Hummus, and with tip and tax cost us about $105. If you're fine with that have at it, but if you want to save some money I would suggest just getting an appetizer and buying your alcohol at the liquor store right behind the outdoor restaurant. Because we were only in the cabin for one night for the wedding, we kind of wished we did just that because we felt a bit overcharged. Keep that in mind if you're looking for food and some drinks!

Great little spot! Great draft beer selection as well as yummy mixed drinks. I love how the menu is really easy. About a half dozen or so pizzas to choose from and they are delicious! They had a girl on stage singing and playing guitar and she sounded great. This place is all outdoor and there is plenty of space to hangout with friends and enjoy life in the beautiful Texas Hill country.

My kids and there cousins love this place. Can't believe they ate literally everything. My wife loved the burger my son 11 had the taco witch he devoured. The fries were excellent. Friendly staff and always making sure we had everything we needed.

We’ve been going to the frio for years and can’t believe we hadn’t been to hippie chicks yet! My husband and I both had sandwiches that were DELICIOUS! Unfortunately my son is gluten free and they had GF pizza made with cauliflower crust- which he usually won’t touch because he hates cauliflower. They assured us it didn’t taste like cauliflower and they were so right! My kids said it was the best pizza they’ve ever had. I tasted it and the crust was crispy and delicious! We loved the atmosphere too!

Really miss the OG hippie chicks. There was far more of a food selection. But I guess they won’t be reopening due to lack of staff. The bar side is decent. They have good pizza. But everything is quite pricey. Also frustrating that they won’t let toddlers have a sippy cup of water brought from home, make you pour it out and buy theirs. I think my biggest complaint all around is the lack of love for kids. For such a seemingly kid friendly environment they sure make kids and parents feel unwelcome. This place would be a true gem with kinder customer service from the owner.

Do not recommend. They were not busy and it took 45 min to make 3 pizzas.Staff was rude to us, and our kids that wanted to play football in the grass area. Would not let kids play games because "we are getting ready to close" at 7:50. (Close at 8:30)So, we sat and fought flies and mosquitoes off us for 45 min for 3 pizzas that weren't anything special. Will not go back here.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly. Signs posted saying no horseplay, no playing in grass, and kids were told they couldn't play outdoor connect 4 game because staff was getting ready to close.

We had spent 2 days eating pb&j and cheesy tourist food from around Concan. Our bus driver from our float suggested we try the nachos as we drove by. OMG! HANDS DOWN THE BEST GRUB IN CONCAN! We had nachos and a chicken quesadilla with fresh made guacamole. I don't even like guacamole but I ate every bit of mine! You can even grab a breakfast burrito and get picked up for a float from there in the morning!!! We are going back ASAP!Be sure the pet the weiner dog and play a game of washers!

We’re visiting from out of town and RV’ing at Garner State Park. Giving a 1 Star only because we drove out here to just to find the place is closed. . Place came recommended from friends. Says it’s open until 7 pm. It’s 5:06 pm now.

The burgers here are so amazing. I got the Mac attack and the Mac and cheese is made with queso 🤗 it's byob which is wonderful. The people are so nice and friendly. Highly recommend!
