Nice store, but staff are a little snooty. After the owner replied to my previous review...I am willing to give this store a better review. (I recognize that we all have off days, and perhaps this staff was having an off day as well). Very nice store with huge selections of yarn, craft items etc.

I ordered a cross stitch pattern online from this shop because it wasn't available at my local shop. Customer service was amazing! I had some issues with shipping on my end, but they were very helpful. This is the best service experience I have ever had! 10/10 would recommend to fellow cross stitchers.

Adorable shop with a great selection of all types of needle crafts. Left behind some yarn kits and skeins, but picked up a Minnie and Purl purl strings. If you needlepoint or cross-stitch, you will be in heaven.Pet the cat and gab with the owners; you won't regret stopping here!

Jaw dropping store. If you’re a fan of needlepoint, this is THE place to go! I’ve never seen so many canvases in one store, as well as every type of thread you can think of. Super friendly and helpful staff as well.

I have never seen so many cross stitch patterns in one store as well as the fabrics and threads to create your masterpiece. Staff was friendly and helpful. You could spend the entire day in this store and still not see everything. Well worth a stop or a "road trip" to Comfort.

The four pieces of needlepoint they sent away to be finished are beautiful. Very happy with them.She spent a lot of time helping me pick out threads for my next project. Many, many different threads and many color choices available. Great help with stitch choice. Great needlepoint shop.I will not even go into the knitting ideas and yarn choices. I could spend all day there.Beth

Hands-down one of the most delightful shops I've ever been to. My sweet partner took me on a mini yarn crawl during my visit to the area, and I was in heaven with all the variety of yarn and color. Please never change, y'all. I am very much looking forward to visiting again in January!

Wonderful shop for all of your needle work passions. A wide variety of knitting yarns and patterns, wonderful cross stitch patterns and fibers and books and books of needlepoint designs and a room full of fibers! They are very knowledgeable about all needle work and sooo helpful. If they do not have it in stock, they will gladly order it for you!!

I love this yarn store! I live in south Texas and have visited this store several times. Every time either Wendy or her Dad, Bill have been very helpful. I have been to other yarn stores in San Antonio and thus store is my favorite! I will definitely be back.

I visited this shop for the 1st time. I will most definitely be going back! I love the cross stitch patterns,kits,and threads plus everything you can think of. I did not have time to look at everything. It was so peaceful in there as well! Everyone is the store was so friendly! A+++++

Everyone at Tinsmith’s Wife are helpful and very pleasant. Visiting to sit and stitch or making a purchase I always feel like I’m visiting friends. They are always happy to look for and order special pieces. There are always groups knitting and/or stitching; good lunch cafe around the corner so you can make a day of it!

READ ALL! I ran out of beads to finish a project. Having purchased the yarn and beads 11 months ago, I returned to the Tinsmith's Wife today in hope they would still have the same beads. Their computer inventory showed they had 5 tubes of my color beads but they were unable to locate them. In spite of being busy, Wendy and Bill ran 3 separate searches of their inventory trying to find them. The beads were found and I am a very happy knitter. THEY HAVE THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE OF ANY COMPANY IN ANY INDUSTRY. I LOVE THE TINSMITH'S WIFE and HIGHLY recommend them.
