Beware of the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER from THIS company who bought the previous company at this location, Bohnert, that DID have a great reputation!My husband & I drove for over 45 minutes to Comfort & spent well over $3k from Bohnert a few months ago (Jan. 2022) for our home’s well tank, pump, and other items. After having everything installed, we discovered the shallow well jet pump DID NOT WORK, despite the salesman advising us it would work adequately for what we needed. Upon our attempt to return it, another 45-min drive to Comfort, the new owner of now Ledlow Lumber REFUSED to take it back, telling us there was no active warranty, manufacturer’s (which he said was only for 30 days) or otherwise. We brought the pump back home and called the manufacturer, who advised us we had been lied to, that it has a TWO-YEAR warranty and can be returned to any REPUTABLE company that carries their products. Obviously, this is NOT A REPUTABLE company! The owner was RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, and just NOT CONCERNED about our $350 problem. He actually hung up on my husband when he tried to call him to explain he had given us wrong info about the manufacturer’s warranty. He had actually told us a bold-faced lie!Do NOT do business with these guys! They ARE NOT TRUSTWORTHY, nor do they honor good business practices! If someone buys a business, wouldn’t they do their best to maintain the integrity & reputation of the company they just bought, instead of running it into the ground?Don’t count on being able to return ANYTHING here! We’re at least giving them a 1-star rating since one young man, another employee, was polite and helpful in exchanging a wrong sized cutoff valve for us. That one employee shouldn’t be held responsible for the rude owner’s behavior. He’s the one person who was at least kind & helpful that day.Avoid this place!! Support another business that will treat you right!

I would like to thank Bohnert Lumber & Supply Company for their outstanding customer service, friendliness, and professionalism. Located right on US-87 in Comfort, they have what you need to get the job done. What brought me to them was the big box stores pressure treated lumber was soaking wet. Too wet to do anything with. So I tried Bohnert's, and was so happy I did. I explained my project to them, and they had all I needed to do the job. They helped load my truck. They gave me the choicest pieces. I felt respected and welcomed there. I've shopped with them a few times more and am growing happier with their service and items. Give Bohnert a try. Good service. Good products. Good prices. Great people. Thank you Bohnert's for making my project possible.I'm actually thinking of making these for sale and would be honored to use Bohnert's as the supplier of materials. Curious how many might be interested.
