Nice place and great prices, very helpful staff. I'm kicking myself for not buying the boots I tried on. I'm traveling and haven't found selection or pricing as good all the way to south Dakota with stops in every state... check them out!**********************************************So a month after I stopped in, I still hadn't found the right boots...I called and ordered them and they showed up quick as a bunny... lovely town, great store and wonderful service...

Great little store with lots of clothing, novelty items, etc. Rather pricey, but genuine clothing. Also has inexpensive souvenirs. Stopped in on our way home from volunteering with Mennonite Disaster Service (cleaning up after Hurricane Harvey).

I just left this store and had such an amazing experience! The people there are so kind, genuine, and look forward to helping you find whatever you may need. I was visiting Texas on vacation and wanted a cowboy hat before I left. The gentleman there helped me find my size and style and it fits perfectly. Will definitely recommend! Easily 5/5 experience!

Such a great place! A good mix of western wear, boots, and hats. They will custom shape hats for your as well. The owner collects barbed wire, which surprisingly is really interesting. Ask Mr Potter about it, you will be fascinated! Everyone who works here is so friendly, especially Mr & Mrs Potter. We found a few shirts and walked out with some great memories, local recommendations, & some great new gear!

I love this store! Visiting is like stepping back in time to simpler days. They have western clothes to outfit the whole family! Purses, jewelry and perfume, hand poured candles, stickers, and a cute selection of kids and Texas gifts!!Make sure to take a picture with the iconic horse and get yourself an ice cold Coca Cola from the vintage machine inside!!!

Been shopping here since I was a toddler in the early 197os. Got my first wranglers, boots, and later my first Justin Ropers here. My son came home from college over spring break and wanted to get his first felt Stetson. I called on a Saturday to ask about fitting him with a hat. Mr. Henry Potter answered and when asked how late he was open he told me but then added but if he needs to come late then that is ok. Wow! I forgot how awesome great customer service was as it is a rarity these days. My son went got a black Stetson and carried on the family tradition of firsts at Potter’s Western Store! You want to be treated well and take home a great quality item home for your hard earned money? Go to see the Potter’s! They will treat you right! Thank you Henry and Pam Potter.

Amazing store! The owners are wonderful people. Mrs. Potter is such a sweet lady and is more than willing to help you find exactly what you are looking for, if they don’t have it they will try to get it! I won’t shop anywhere else from now on! If you are near by, it is definitely worth a stop!

Family run and operated! Mrs. Potter helped me pick out my cowboy hat and Mr. Potter steamed and shaped it exactly how I wanted it. It’s also worth dropping in just to talk to them. Mr. Potter is former Aggie Band member and has some awesome Texas A&M knowledge as well local historical stories.

Mr & Mrs Potter are great. They always go out of their way to help there customers ...such as ordering clothes if they do not have your size in stock.Their employees also are very knowledgeable about what they carry. I would highly recommend this Western Store for your every day needs!
