Prices aren't the best compared with other well known places but there are a few items I find here that I cant seem to aquire at other places, or I just don't have my eyes open. Overall if there was a little wider selection of brands then I would be fine

The biggest store in town, some things are pricey, some aren't, one big downside is that the deli seemed to be closed indefinitely now. It started with the permanent removal of some items like Onion rings last year (To the point that Deli workers don't even realize that there WERE onion rings), to removing the deli in it's entirety.The deli was one big reason we would got to Lowes so often, as it was a cheaper alternative for feeding a family than the three Fast Food places in our town, plus the only options for onion rings in the entire town is now terrible fast food alternatives in Dairy Queen and Sonic's, and ridiculously overpriced fried chicken in Golden Chick that was far cheaper at Lowes.Now for big shopping trips, we just take a bus to Walmart instead as buying something fresh for dinner too isn't an option anymore.

Bought their smoked brisket sliced at 1 today. So so dry i had to toss it. Cant recommend ! Yuck

The prices are above average. They have a huge selection of products. I have yet to find any item not in stock. The employees are numerous and friendly. I did not give 5 stars because the prices are too high on some items. God bless!

Very nice grocery store. Good selection of fresh vegetables and meat. We watched a lady making fresh tortillas. Good selection of staple products. Very reasonable prices. Good selection of beer and wine. Unlike the other reviewer, we were from out of state and had no problem purchasing alcohol. Everyone was friendly and helpful. They had mesquite wood for sale which we used to make a great BBQ. They also had a great deli counter with an awesome selection of prepared food. If we lived here, this would be our go to place.

GAVE OUR HOME A WEEVIL INFESTATION NOT ONCE, BUT TWICE!!! Nearly a third time, but we inspected EVERY item before putting it in the pantry and discovered them before putting our groceries away. After this we discovered them dead in a head of cabbage! Their milk almost always goes bad prematurely due to improper handling! Avoid this "grocery store"! We do! And we live in this town.. sometimes were forced to go to this store out of necessity, but well only buy certain items. If you're forced to shop here PLEASE inspect the food! You'll likely find something out of date on the shelf and a slim selection of mostly fatty foods. There are few healthy options here and even those are the bottom of the barrel when it comes to health food. Current owners have run this store in the ground AND they don't give back to the community! They have the audacity to charge high prices on top of it all... Worst place to buy your food for miles hands down. Certainly the worst store I've been in!!!

Butcher made promises about saving beef fat so I could make deer hambuger and for 3 days I drove 20 miles only to be told each time they forgot and three away. Even store manager did not seem to care that he was losing a long time customer over these lies

Many of the fresh produce items for sale were already spoiled. Zucchini and corn on the cob, just to start. The only poultry was only chicken breasts or chicken legs. No whole chicken. The milk went sour four days early, indicating improper refrigeration. The rest of the store was fine. Just check expiration dates when you buy.

4 stars means I like it. My main gripe, though, is they are sliding down that slippery slope that is Wal-mart --- the one in which there are too many people standing in line to check out and not enough checkers. Maybe they can and will correct this.

Awesome, friendly, easy in and out grocery store. Everything you need. Good place to stop by. Then get gas, post office, beautiful picnic I Riddick Park, before you continue your journey. 😁

Let's face it. Lowe's is a monopoly here in Colorado City. Nothing comes close to it. Therefore the prices are set to high. No matter what you either pay more for the same exact thing or go to the closest place that's close to this which is Walmart in Snyder. (30 minutes away) Either way the people of a Colorado City end up spending more money for the same product. Meat is great and vegetables are too.

I don't see how anyone could give an option of the Lowes here in Colorado city Texas ? A year ago or 5 yrs ago ?? It just became Lowes back in July 1966. From what I have experienced at Lowes . They have fresh fruit ,vegetables and reasonable prices . There other items are reasonable. Just wish they had better prices on there meat . It is very fresh but just to expensive. The cashiers could use some greeting lessons . And have a smile on there face . It's not that hard . While yr walking in the store to greet customer's and ask how they are or if they are finding everything they need . Sence Lowes has took over . It's not only the cashier's it's the new ones that walk around big dogs or even new stalkers. I probably misspelled that lol . Customer service is a neglected area in this store ., and alot of other places . To my knolage.there is one or 2 places that literally acknowledge the customers it is Town and Country -Trips and dollar general People like to be recognized and helped and made fill welcome . So there it is my opinion 1st and for most Customer's aknolagement and 2nd is meat prices . Not everyone is well off of rich . J.S

BEWARE OF THE PREMADE FAJITAS!!!!! The premade meat here is so dang salty that it’s almost impossible to eat! The prices are good and other than that It’s a decent store considering the remote area and small town

I was in the store to buy beer. I was told that i had to s show id. Ok. Sore policy, I'm sixty six years old and don't look a day over ninety. But store policy, show id. So i was digging through my wallet and the first id i came across was my military id. Now i served thirty years in the navy. That id was good enough to serve three years in Viet nam, and many other places, but not good enough to buy a can of beer in a small town grocery store? How insulting! What if i had been a visiting traveler from another state? Pretty dum policy. Pretty rude policy. Highly insulting policy.

This is a horrible store, it's dirty, stale out of date food and poor selection but most of all they won't sell beer or wine to someone from out of state. (why? it's a store policy)I come to this little town at least 2 times a year I spend hundreds of dollars in the week i'm there with my family BBQing, fishing, hunting etc etc and they shun me because I am an outsider.

Our grocery store is under construction right now, its terrible! They are finished remodeling and added a chicken place. It also has a drive thru for the busy people.

Slow service not friendly people and there new chicken place is ran by nasty people I went threw the drive threw and got a coke well the lady making the coke had flour all over her gloves and was all over all the coke and last time I walked by the inside there was flys all over the food back there
