Transparency and trust go a long way and this establishment could do a much better job with both. My mini poodle has been going here for 2.5 years. I understand that mistakes happen, people have bad days and so do animals. I gave grace when no one bothered to explain prices increases shortly after being a customer there or the fact that my 11lb dog was considered “medium” instead of small. I also gave grace when my dog was nicked a couple of times and eyelashes taken off by the groomer. However yesterday was the final straw. Before taking my dog back I was told that my dog might have to be charged a demat fee. I was confused because I comb & brush him weekly & have never been told that he was matted any previous times. Please keep in mind that my dog gets groomed every other month & we’ve been coming for 2.5 years. Hour & a half later I walk inside to pick up my dog. I’m asked to pay & notice the price is much higher. I inquire & was told that a service/handling fee was applied because my dog was squirmy. Then the groomer walks out with my dog & says that my dog is difficult every time and recommends he sees someone else at the establishment. My dog has had only 2 groomers the entire time he’s been there and they have never said that he was difficult. Every time I was told he was fine with the exception of yesterday. I also did not appreciate that an additional fee was slapped on to my service & I was expected to pay without them mentioning one word to me as to why. As if they were hoping I’d pay and not notice. And by the way, the groomer cut my dog’s pad on his paw and I’m expected to pay an additional fee after that?! I don’t think so. The level of transparency & trust here is poor! For future customers please take this into consideration. Communication, accountability and transparency is key. Putting your inadequacies onto the customer is not acceptable. For this reason I am taking my dog and $$ elsewhere.

I have a Goldendoodle and gave very specific instructions of what I wanted during the groom.We go to PetBar Lover regularly and been to several different locations and never had any issues but the management and the owner here is absolutely awful to deal with.The instructions I give everytime - I want a summer cut with the body shaved - I mentioned we were going to Florida were theres lots of ticks so want to be able to see them. I told the groomer not to cut her lashes but cut around her eyes as I've trimmed around but it's uneven. The snout to be trimmed to be above her lips and shaved under the mouth. She has a poof since we've been tying her hair, she asked if she could trim that and I said yes.I ended up getting a goldendoodle with a poodle haircut back. Typically, the groomers will stop and ask if you like the cut but the groomer just handed her over and left. There was a huge line when I went in and I didn't feel comfortable being confrontational/causing a scene and since I've always had great experiences, I figured I'd just call. When I called, the Manager just apologized and offered to put me with a different groomer next time. I told him I expect some type of compensation and he mentioned how there was labor put in and that the service couldnt be refunded. I brought up how if you get a bad haircut or get the wrong service, it's refunded. He said he would ask the owner which told him that I was given a discount already and that they cant give me a refund due to this. I asked what discount was I given when the manager noted they forgot to change the prcie in their system at checkout and so basically the discount I got was there error.Needless to say, I didn't get a refund and wouldn't recommend coming here. I've already told several friends in the area not to bring their dogs here that I've already referred and warning you, there customer service is poor.I'm attached images so you can see what I asked for versus what I got and how drastic it is. We have fall family photos coming up and how are we supposed to take pictures with a dog who doesnt look like our girl.

Have been happy with them for a year or so. Scheduled an appointment for a bath and de-shedding. Rescheduled it. They did the bath but not de-shed (Unknown to me). This became clear a few days later as my husky became matted and irritated. I called and they were just going to make us pay to do the whole thing over again, even though they had on file that we were scheduled for a de-shed. Losing a customer over an easy fix.

The Petbar totally rocks! They are professional, put the last groomer we had to shame. Arely is amazing, she had our Sheepdog looking show ready!I had to bring our second Sheepdog in to bathe myself, due to a neck injury that occurred at the previous groomer. It was much easier to do in a professional setting and they were helpful in showing me how everything worked.I highly recommend The Petbar!

Fantastic place to get your pups cleaned up for spring! Steve the owner really cares and helped me with the proper way to wash my giant breed Great Pyrenees. Very high tech pet wash, reasonable prices, and my girls loved Steve and his staff. 5 plus stars ⭐️.

I have been taking my dog there for grooming for 2years but today was the last day. Before I brought him in, I checked his body if I saw any matted. I saw a couple spot but it was not bad as before. I was expecting to pay extra for that but I didn’t expect pay double rate. They said it was so bad so they had to take so long. They told me to expect 1h30mins but took 2h. They usually take 1h30mins even without matted. I don’t understand and made me feel bad. And they always don’t get ear and tale length as specifically requested. I was just disgusted and will never go back.

I almost don't want to share how awesome they are...hahaha, finally a place that doesn't keep Tucker in a small cage all day long! One hour max in and out! A monthly fee and I can take him in as many times as I need to.

This location doesn’t cater well to self-serve washes, probably because they don’t make money on them. We bathe our own dog and enjoy other Petbar locations but twice now this location hasn’t had the standard equipment available to self-washers that we appreciate at other Petbars. The first time I considered it might be because they were booked up and couldn’t offer it to us, but today when we walked in, it was empty so I’m not sure why they couldn’t provide what the other locations do. We’ll stick to the other locations from now on.

Highly recommend! If you have a poodle, doodle or any dog that requires constant grooming this is the best investment! Super friendly staff and my girl always looks beautiful after!

They did a wonderful job grooming my pup! It can be such a stressful experience for both owner & pet and I’m so happy to have found this place. Takes the stress out of it! The staff was so friendly and establishment was very well kept!

This was my first time at PetBar. The owner, Steve, and his staff were beyond helpful and made the experience pleasant for both myself and my dog. The facility, equipment, and supplies were excellent and made grooming my dog so easy. I will definitely be returning for all of my future dog bathing needs!

They can clean up your dog to look amazing for a way lower price than you would pay groomers. And when your dog NEEDs grooming services they got that available too…we’ve tried all groomers in CV area, both private and corporations grooming, and pet bar is best service for best price

I am absolutely thrilled to find the perfect place for my dog’s grooming! The owner, Steve, was so welcoming and took the time to give me a tour of the facility, which is clean, spacious, and truly the best grooming setup I’ve ever seen. My dog is a Coton de Tulear, and I have the hardest time finding groomers who can get his haircut and shape right. Well Naomi nailed it and my dog’s haircut was perfect. Naomi is a superstar groomer, and she listens to my requests, takes good care of my baby, and is the sweetest groomer we’ve had. I drive all the way from Hudson Oaks/Weatherford because PetBar Colleyville is worth it!

The BEST experience a consumer can have, great service and great value. Spotless facility, staff is professional and personable, I met the owner today and my English Bulldog, Big Juicy is hooked. He was pampered. I highly recommend, 10 for service, 10 for value.

Clean and very friendly and professional staff. They operate like a hair appointment for your dog. This is not the old school pet grooming where your dog has to stay all day. In and out within about an hour give or take. We will definitely continue using Petbar. 👍

First, I'd like to start off by saying that I have used Pet Bar for 3 of my dogs for the better part of the last 8 months and have spent more than $1500 on grooming our pets there. As of late, their customer service has deteriorated massively and they have decided to add erroneous fees.Unfortunately, it feels to me like the owners of this franchise or chain do not have a clear vision of putting customers first, but rather lining their pockets for silly things you won't be charged with at other groomers.Let me add some context.Strike 1:Upon taking in one of our Labradoodles, they did not follow the instructions of the groom. Upon calling management to report this issue and ask if there was anything they could do to make it right, they simply said -- "Well, we just made a mistake and mistakes happen". For me, this is not empathetic nor did they even attempt to be.Strike 2:Recently, I set an appointment that I mistakenly put on the wrong day myself. I ended up calling a day before the appointment and rescheduling it for 12pm on the following Saturday. I show up on Saturday and there is no appointment scheduled. The customer service rep did not offer to get another date or to solve the issue that they created. Additionally, they tried to call me on Friday after I rescheduled my appointment to tell me they were going to charge me a fee for not showing up to my appointment.Strike 3:After giving them another chance, I dropped my pet off for an appointment at 1:30. At that time, I asked how long it would take to groom my dog and they responded with about 40 minutes. I asked if I could return in 2 hours to pick up my dog (I left at 1:40). I return at 3:40 on the dot and was notified by the desk person that I would be charged a mandatory fee of $25 for pet sitting even after the other rep told me differently when I dropped my dog off.

What an amazing experience! Our fur baby is so scared of the groomer. But every aspect of our trip to Pet Bar has been about making her comfortable. And she’s never looked better compared to her other groomers. Steve and his entire staff are exceptional! So thankful we have discovered Pet Bar! Very awesome place and we highly recommend them to our closest friends and family.

They cancel 2 mins before groom. Then tell you they can’t help you for weeks. I gave them another chance I call to cancel hours before grooming they said they have to charge me half because their employees are commission based. How is that fair they can cancel on you anytime reschedule you a week later. But I can’t reschedule free of charge….

This was my second experience at Pet Bar in colleyville, the first I would have given a 4+ star rating, but I will never be returning. I took my 6mth goldendoodle in for a grooming. I was aware he had some matting around his face and would need a close trim. I gave specific instruction and even showed pictures of what I was looking for. I expressed to the groomer that I did NOT want my dog to look like a poodle which was met with "well he is 50% poodle". he is a 50/50 poodle doodle was my response. A few hours later I went to pick him up and I was in complete shock that she shaved his face all the way down and went with a poodle cut. no courtesy call, just artistic freedom she took on. She said you must not be taking care of him as there was so much matting, but I know that to be false and incredibly rude. I called 72hrs after the cut and after talking with the regional manager "there was nothing they could do, it was past the 24hrs" which I can respect if this wasn't a haircut.... Would not recommend this place now - they have POOR customer service and the groomers make their own decisions.

Tried out this place for the first time tonight! What an amazing experience. The owner walked us through everything and even put spa music on for us and our pups!:) they have EVERYTHING you could possibly need. Will definitely be switching to pet at from now on. Just amazed with the costumer service we received tonight

Best in townMy puppy has membership for $50 and now she can bath for 4 times a month and unlimited self wash .Best deal everService is excellent and friendly salon and boutique for fur babies 👶🏻 🐶

This was my first time here and my puppies new experience at getting groomed. it was a Great experience! Thank you April for being so caring and giving such good detail to my puppy’s needs, she looks amazing! The reason why I'm rating this place a one star is not because of the groomer (she did a fantastic job on my dog) but it is because of the horrible manager that runs this store. He's rude and doesn't care about people or dogs. When booking my appointment, he was very smart and made obscene comments. As a customer that has brought my dog here several times, this isn't the way the you treat your customers. When I dropped off my dog, I told them to call ME (I provided them my number) when he was ready. Instead of calling me, the other person was called on the account (they couldn't answer because they were at work). The manager finally calls me 6:36pm threatening to board my dog because I failed to pick him up. Upon arriving, the manager didn't print me a receipt, and wouldn't even allow me to tip the young lady who did the grooming because he charged me a holding fee and thought I wouldn't tip anyways. He literally said, "I'm not even going to ask you for a tip because I know you aren't going to tip." The way he treated me and my dog is absurd. He should not be a manager, he definitely doesn't know how to offer good customer service.

Superb experience! We brought our new rescue cairn there for a haircut, and PetBar did a great job. The owner is a really wonderful guy who shows his appreciation of his customers. Five stars all the way!
