All the Doctors here are so sweet, understanding and helpful! Dr. Norris and Dr Hibbits helped manage my sweet old lady poodle with Cushing’s. They both helped talk through all my worries and keep her comfortable until we said goodbye. Dr. Hodge and Dr. McKnight have seen my doodle many times keeping him up to date on annual vaccines and staying on top of his allergy skin. I always recommend Wellborn Road to anyone needing a vet in town! They provide incredible medical care, are reasonably priced and available for anything you need.

This vet clinic is fantastic. Our cat ate something poisonous while we were on vacation and it nearly killed him, but this clinic took him in after hours, hospitalized him, and saved his life. For more than a week of intensive care, a feeding tube, and multiple procedures, the bill was way less than we were expecting. Dr McKnight was in constant contact with us, and really helped us through a very tough time.If it weren't for this clinic, our buddy wouldn't be with us today, and we are eternally grateful. I would recommend this clinic to everyone.

Dr. Norris helped my dog and I through an intestinal blockage and was one of the most kind hearted vets I have ever met. If your like me, your dog is basically your kid, so I was a wreck while trying to figure out what to do. Dr. Norris walked me through everything and was very compassionate the entire time. The staff at wellborn was extremely nice as well and you could really tell everyone there truly loved animals.

Dr. Norris is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. She sat and helped me figure out what was wrong with my cat even though we were both very confused about his condition at first. She talked me through everything once we determined it was most likely a food allergy. I love this Vet clinic.

Great visit. It lasted two hours when we were scheduled for half an hour, but only because there were about 4-5 emergency cases that came in while we were there. Friendly tech, friendly vet, efficient lobby staff. They trimmed my dog's nails just because, and sent us home with a customized paper bag of meds, which was just a nice touch. It was a nice visit, and they were very thorough and receptive while communicating everything clearly.

I brought in two rescue pups for an emergency appointment, and the service was quick and individualized. They were more than willing to work with me on pricing, and I ended up not needing to do a payment plan because of how accommodating they were. One of the puppies spent a few days in the ER, and Dr. Hubble was always prompt with updates on her condition and care. When I came to pick her up, every vet tech I met was super friendly and went above and beyond to help me out. They gave me a (free) slip leash for each dog, and when they noticed my hands were full carrying two pups and their supplies a girl behind the counter offered to help me out to my car. I can tell the staff really cares for your animals, when I returned for a follow up appointment everyone remembered the pups and were happy to see they are healthy.I love that they call your pets 'kiddos,' and even weeks later, without mentioning my name, the receptionist recognized my voice and immediately remembered both pups. Juniper would not have survived without the care they provided for her, and I'm so thankful I found this clinic. The puppy plan is carefully laid out and affordable as well. It can get busy at times, but that's because the staff is committed to giving your pet the attention it needs. I didn't mind waiting a few extra minutes for a vet to get out of an emergency surgery- if it was my dog on the operating table I'd be upset if they rushed to nonemergency customers. This is also the only clinic I've been to that allows cats on leashes, outside of a crate. I went to another animal hospital in town with my cat in his harness, and they had me pay $20.00 for a cardboard crate, despite there being no indication that cats specifically had to be kenneled.I can't recommend them enough, thank you to everyone working there for being so kind and dedicated!

We had to come in last minute because our doggie passed away at home. The staff waited past closing time to help us and were so kind on the phone and in person. We are so grateful for their willingness to assist us during such a tough time, and at the close of business. If I could give 6 stars, I would!

I would like to say that Dr. Rachel and the multiple techs who helped us during our visit are by far the most caring group of people I have encountered. I was able to get my dog in on a Saturday with no problems. The whole office was very professional and friendly. Unfortunately my dog had a terminal illness and they walked me through the entire process of what to expect. Dr. Rachel laid out all of my options for me and let me move forward at my own pace. She did not push for extra test to confirm what the X-ray showed but did give the option if we really wanted to know. I appreciate her being honest and not just trying to run up a bill on a one time patient. Ultimately we chose to put my dog to sleep and have her cremated. When it came time for the payment their prices have average from the multiple vets I have used both here in College Station and across the state. They are very honest with the pricing and aren’t looking to run up a big bill. I wish I had found them sooner and I will continue to use them for the other pets that I have. Thank you again for bringing comfort and compassion to my family in our time of need.

Extremely attentive and kind staff!! Doctors take their time with every appointment to help answer your questions and make sure you understand your pets ailment/course of treatment/etc. You can typically get an appointment within the next day or so of calling; and if you need emergency they are able to get you in immediately during business hours. Also, their prices are very reasonable - I would highly recommend their services!!

This place is awesome. I am so grateful to the team here for taking care of my animals when we need it, and for being so willing to educate and help us learn how to handle certain situations in order to prevent a recurring issue, or be able to manage it until we need to come in. We've had Dr. Hodge and Dr. Norris, adore them both!!Very friendly staff and extremely affordable, especially for emergencies, compared to A&M.

Our cat Jasmine aka Hey Pretty was very ill and needed surgery asap. We were referred to Wellborn Road by another Vet. Dr McKnight and the supporting staff reacted quickly in a caring, , professional manner and upfront about all things. They treated Jasmine as if she was their own. Surgery went well and post care etc reassured me we had taken her to the best place for her. She's at home on the road to recovery and doing well. I have nothing but respect and high praise for everyone involved. I recommend them to anyone in need of a vet

I absolutely can’t say enough good things about the vets and staff. My son’s cat became ill last Saturday. Not knowing where else we could go, we took him to TAMU. His bladder was obstructed and we were told it would cost three to four thousand dollars. Just two days later we were told he needed surgery for an additional three thousand. Wellborn Rd accepted him as a transfer patient and did the surgery for a fraction of the TAMU price. Thank you for taking care of our precious pet! We are so thankful for the wonderful care he received at your facility.

I've been using Wellborn Road Vet Med since my dog was 8 weeks old. They have a very fairly priced and comprehensive puppy plan to get your dog all the shots and care they need as babies. They've always been lovely to work with, they get me in on short notice and the vets are always very knowledgeable and kind to the animals. My dog has been sick twice and they always get him the right treatment the first time. We also brought a malnourished rescue dog in and they were great to her. Just today, I had a vet appointment set for 12:20 but I ended up having to work so I cancelled it yesterday. I went into work today and found out my shift got covered last minute so I immediately called them again and they scheduled me for a 1:00 appointment. They were very understanding about it and worked with me to get him back in. Again, very fairly priced compared to other vets in the area and you get great care for your animals.

This vet is very busy, almost too busy. Mia at the front desk does a fantastic job but there is another girl at the front with 0 personality, she's like a robot. I have been taking my dog here for several years. I've never had the same Dr. twice. It is clean and most of the staff are friendly and compassionate.

Everyone here is amazing & treats your animal like their own. Dr. Norris & her staff were always great with following up when they said they would, and were quick to determine why my baby wasn’t feeling good. I have experienced amazing service every time I visit Wellborn Road Veterinary Center. The staff is excellent and always does a great job with my girls. The doctors are understanding and patient with my skittish dog and have helped her gain some courage! I also rarely have issues making appointments as they always have some room to get you in in a timely manner. The only drawback is that their services can be very pricey for a college student like myself and there are definitely cheaper vets in the area. Also, every time I have ever called I've been placed on a brief hold. I know they are just a busy clinic, but it does get a little annoying. Overall a great place to bring your pet if you can afford it.

We took our new puppy for his 8wk puppy shots & checkup. After calling and emailing multiple Vets and asking friends for referrals, I loved that they are close to our, have weekend hours and an emergency vet on call after hours till 11pm.Honestly, I wasn't completely comfortable with the No Contact Appt but Safety for All.The Vet called us and told us all about how well he did. Answered all our questions and brought him out to us. We are confident in the decision to take him to Wellborn Vet.

I don't usually write negative reviews but I could not be more frustrated with this clinic. Every single time I call to book an appointment I never get to talk with a person right away...the line is "Is this an emergency or can I place you on a brief hold"...every single time!! And it's not brief...on average it's 5-7 minutes. And then when they finally get back with you...there is no apology for the hold. And when you check out you always have to wait for them to finish their phone calls...so I don't know if there are not enough people working there but this is very frustrating to have to continually wait on either end of of your visit. I also had an appointment at 2:30 and was still waiting in a very dirty and dog hair filled exam room at 3:00. There was also dog hair crusted in the window sill of the exam room and stuck to the blinds. The equipment and the exam rooms look old and tired. I ended up just walking out. Veterinary visit are very traumatizing to small dogs and also very expensive. I will spend my money somewhere else that is customer service oriented, on time and clean.

I was so grateful for their staff. Dr. Smith and another person rushed to my dogs aid and acted quickly to his needs. I showed up at 5:30 pm for an emergency with my puppy max. They took him in right away and made it the most affordable that they could. The could obviously see how important our furry little family member was because they expressed great care for him and comforted him the whole duration of his visit. Best vet in college station hands down. My cat Franklin has genetic issues and has become a frequent flyer here and we’ve gotten nothing but great care and support from the entire staff. The prices are beyond fair and the peace of mind knowing I can call my animals primary vet at any time for a emergency is so comforting. I love every vet and technician here and am so thankful I found them

My cat had an emergency and had to spend a few days here. The staff was very friendly, caring, and responsive. They provided me with multiple daily updates and made time to checkup on him whenever I was concerned about his recovery. Overall, I'm glad I brought him here, he was in good hands!
