I have used a few vet hospitals in my lifetime and this one tops the cake. The doctors bed side manner with your pet here is phenomenal. The staff is so friendly and they make you feel welcome. The staff shows you they have been trained right by their professionalism and treatment of your pet.

I don’t trust this placeMy appointment was at 515 I got there at 5 they let me in the back and waited till about 545 to be seenMy dog has been itching like crazy I was worried it was mange. The worker came in and without even looking at my dog wrote out this almost 400$ invoice for my dog. She had 2 topical creams, a 70$ exam fee, a cone, rabbis vaccine and some other stuff. I asked if she was sure it was mange and she told me well they really wouldn’t know unless they diagnosed him and diagnosing him would cost more. I asked what the 70$ exam fee was for if they weren’t going to diagnose him. She went to get the vet for a 2nd look. The vet came (was very helpful) told me that she really didn’t think it was mange and they have had a lot of flea situations come in recently and she was 99% sure that’s all it was and mange on grown dogs was pretty rare. She told me I could just do flea prevention pills and an antibiotic and he would be fine. I asked her I thought the flea prevention pills were better than the cream and she agreed absolutely. (So why did the First Lady prescribe 2 creams and a cone?)So pretty much the First Lady had to of known that it was just fleas if they have had this come through a ton recently and I feel tried to rip me off selling me all this stuff I didn’t need.I can’t help but to wonder if I would’ve just gone along with it how much would I have walked out of there payingWill say the vet was helpful though and the receptionist was nice as well

The two best, smartest vets in town + a knowledgeable and dedicated staff. The whole team goes above and beyond for us and our animals. Plus, booking appointments is easy and they work on the weekends, which makes it so much easier for us.

Dr. Fisher and Kayla made a very stressful visit much easier, work to get our pet in and stayed late to make sure he was ok. They both were very good with us and our dog. Dr. Fisher gave us all the information in terms we could understand and keep us informed with how things were goin through out the procedure.

I was skeptical to come to this clinic after reading some of the reviews, but this may be my permanent vet clinic to use. I did not have an appointment and they worked around their schedules to get my pup care. Additionally, I knew costs through every process. These ladies are the friendliest staff I feel like I have encountered. Y’all keep up the amazing work!!Revision:The manager(Casey) of this clinic is about as unprofessional as it gets. She contacted me after I made a phone call to request a partial refund of the almost $1000 that I spent for infection care with no results. Casey reached out to me and stated that she would give a partial refund, and then went on to justify the care offered at the clinic. I told her that I was not interested in any explanation and that I just wanted my refund so that I could cut ties with the company. She stated that because of my refusal to listen to her that she was to longer going to offer a refund and that she was escalating the situation. Well wouldn’t you know I still haven’t heard from her boss. I stand corrected in my initial review.. pet owner beware. If you get a request from the owner to email them do not bother. My email was rejected stating that the inbox was full.

Absolutely wonderful! My little Picklemonster is very nervous around people she doesn't know. They were so good with her. By the time she came out, she had new friends. I'll definitely bring her back!

I take all of my cats to them and have had great experiences with them. The doctors are very knowledgeable and the technicians always make sure my pets and I are comfortable and informed throughout the visit. I have a cat that doesn't like strangers and even he loves the staff here (crazy!). Highly recommend!

Ever since Vetco took over the old clinic, I've had nothing but a great experience. The staff and vet were very informative, and didn't try to upsell me on anything they thought wasn't completely necessary. Instead, they informed me on what I could do for the future if I decide. I came in for my cat's mild ear infection and the staff were able to clean and medicate her ears, despite the last clinic that wasn't able to do that successfully. I have a very happy kitty. For rabies shot, full body examination, ear test, and medicine application it was $180. So more or less you can decide if that's pricey or not, but the service was great.

As stated by Ronny B. We took our cat to get his rabies vaccine here. They were aware that he was unvaccinated and still decided to not wear any protection. Our cat got scared and bit the vet (who was pregnant. I do not understand why she would not want to take any precautions in her current state). They then said “this happens all the time” and ran out of the room. The front desk person came in and said they were calling animal control to ask if they could still give the shots he required. What they did not tell us was that an officer was coming to take our cat away for 10 days. The officer told us she has to come to this location a lot and she has never heard of a vet not wearing leather gloves. We got to talk to the tech Julia again and she was very defensive and didn’t want to take any blame in the situation. She said they had no reason to believe that he is aggressive since he has no history of aggression in his chart because the last time he came he was a baby. Exactly…. How were we supposed to know how he would act they should take better precautions. He is never aggressive at home. Long story short, we were being responsible pet owners trying to get our cat vaccinated and now he is spending 10 nights in the humane society.

Brought my fur babies in that are like my children and let me say I can not say enough about how amazing the staff there was. Both Dr. Shaak and Dr. Fisher go above and beyond. They treated my girls like their own. All of the techs were so good with my babies and it just shows they love what they do. The clinic is nice and clean! This is my permanent vet clinic!! Highly recommend.

Unfortunately, my visit here was to say goodbye to my bestest buddy of 17 years. The staff here were incredible, and honestly I could not have asked for a sweeter experience for such a heartbreaking moment. They were so gentle and caring for my little guy. They allowed me time to say goodbye properly, and stay with him as he slipped away. They were very kind and wonderful people and I appreciate them immensely. They didn't even seem to be uncomfortable with my uncontrollable sobbing. I Would absolutely recommend them, and I hope that you're not visiting for the same reason I was. Thanks so much Vetco staff ❤️

The affordability of the location is always a bonus but as is with this world, the cheaper the work, the worse the labor. My 1yr old cat was due for his scheduled shots and a rabies shot. He is an indoor cat and very well mannered at home. When administering the shots he got scared and bit the doctor, which thus precedented a series of unprofessional observations:-There was no preventative measures such as a cone or bite resistant gloves in case the cat feels the need to defend.-I was left misinformed on any information other than Animal Control arriving.-No compensation for rabies quarantine is offered for their lack of preparation and caution.-The nurses were defensive in their efforts to not be held responsible for anything. Their reasoning was that he was very calm prior but that should not mean you wouldn’t have the correct measures to prevent ANYTHING from happening.Because of their unprofessionalism I will not be going back to their location or support Vetco or Petco until they add new measures to prevent unprofessional occurrences like this happening.EDIT: I was wrong in saying they are affordable. Apparently compared to other locations, they overcharge by around $70-$100 more. Even more reason not to go given the experience.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Shaak at my most recent visit with Charlotte! She was so caring, knowledgeable, and patient when it came to my many questions. I brought Charlotte in for routine vaccinations and skin concerns. I was overall very pleased with her services! I definitely recommend this hospital!

There was a little bit of a wait because they were busy, but typically we do not wait at all so I was not upset. All the staff is always so attentive and nice to us and our dog Cleo. They even texted the next day to check how she was doing. Always a great experience there!

Went here as a first time customer and didn’t get a free pet exam(Not even offered one) by any staff. To neuter my dog (who’s like 57 lbs) it was estimated $400, which is a bit high. I feel like they reel you in by making you pay for a initial exam and hope you cough up whatever estimates they give you. I do not recommend going here. So much for priding yourselves in being affordable vet care.

I brought my 8 month old cat in to get neutered. I went to the consultation and his neuter and paid about $350 for that alone. Two days after his neuter, I woke up to him vomiting blood and in pain. I rushed him back to Vetco because I believed it was serious. They ran $250 tests to come back and tell me nothing was out of normal range and he physically looked alright. They sent me home with him and little did I know that was his last night. He refused to eat and drink and I brought him to an emergency vet the next day. I had tests ran again and turned out he had Parvo and a tongue ulcer. Incubation time is 2-8 days and my cat had been nowhere but Vetco within that time frame and had no mouth or any other issues prior to me taking him to this vet. I had to put my sweet cat down because of the failure to detect early symptoms, test and do a proper physical examination. The ulcer did not appear overnight and according to multiple vets I spoke to, a parvo test should have been ran based on his symptoms. I came back to Vetco to inform them of the incident along with all the details and asked for a refund for all the expenses. I was told to send the documents from the emergency vet to them and that they would get back to me. It has been two weeks and I have not heard a single thing from them. I am angry because I truly believe that my cat would still be alive if I hadn’t taken him here. The failure to diagnose my cat will forever make me upset and the disrespect of ignoring my situation. Do NOT come here or any petco/vetco. I truly believe that they were negligent in many aspects.

Please, bring your pets here!! Every single staff member was incredibly kind and professional. They were very understanding of my situation and of course, did everything to help my dog. Dr. Fisher definitely knows what she’s doing, as she explained everything to me and answered all of my questions. I can’t stress enough how amazing this experience was. It was the best clinic I’ve ever been to.

Dr. Fisher and Megan were absolutely amazing and made Duckie feel comfortable in a rather scary situation. They both also explained everything in great detail to me and helped ease my anxiety as well. 1000/10 reccomend

I came here with my cat Zara. She is not a fan of the vet and gets very stressed out. The technicians are very sweet and did a great job. BUT DO NOT LET YOUR ANIMAL BE SEEN BY KATELYN SHAAK. This was the 2nd time being seen by her… (she was the only option on this day.) She is terrible with customer service and refused to vaccinate my cat because she doesn’t handle stressed out animals. I don’t understand how she is a vet and do not recommend her. She didn’t even want to attempt to vaccinate my cat. The technicians are the only reason why it was possible and it’s because they aren’t afraid to do their job. Again, DO NOT LET YOUR ANIMALS BE SEEN BY KATELYN SHAAK. She should find a new job because she is the WORST veterinarian I’ve ever had to deal with.

This was a great experience. Not sure what to expect, I took my sick cat in. He had not had a rabies vaccine for several years bc he never leaves the house. They were very understanding. They gave him rabies vaccine, physical exam, & antibiotics. The vet & the tech were super nice. I would highly recommend Thrive vet. BTW, total cost? $75. Can't beat that!

No doubt they love animals here. Their services and pricing do not match...but in a good way! I brought my cat in thinking it would be hundreds of dollars, but actually is was WAY cheaper. There was no suggestive selling. They are efficient, high tech, caring staff and the best part? They follow up to check in on your beloved pet. 5 stars without hesitation. Go here!!

I called to schedule an appointment and was able to go in the next day with my kitten who was born with bad ribs and they were so nice and caring as soon as they seen him! I was so worried that they would put my kitty down because of his ribs but instead they wanted to give him a chance at life and told me about some treatments for him. I was so happy because most vets I’ve been to suggest putting my pets down when they have issues. The exam price was so cheap!

Max absolutely loved being here. They provided me with so much information and care for Max. I truly did appreciate the service. The Doctor was very kind and very patient with me since this is my first time owning a pet. I come here as a second option when I can’t make the 2.5hr drive back home to use my vet of 15 years.Today was maybe my 4th time visiting and the service just gets worst every single visit. from attitudes, disgusted tones, to looks i’m not sure what was worst. also not to mention, the pricing went up for everything. the pricing isn’t worth it, especially with the lack of customer service. I don’t mind price increases, but they aren’t worth it for this clinic. especially since they’re chained. do yourself a favor and go visit a small business that’ll remember you- your pet, and give you quality customer care.
