Typically I groom Logan myself because I had an awful experience the one time he was professionally groomed but after reading reviews I decided to give this place a shot. 10/10! The staff is always so sweet and understanding. Special thank you to Ashley M, she listened to what I wanted and cut Logan’s hair exactly to my request! He has major anxiety so I know she was extremely patient with him and he looked and smelt excellent when I picked him up. I will continue getting my babies groomed here. Thank you Ashley M!! Perfect perfect perfect.

I’ve only been going to Lucky Dog for about three months I think but in that short time I’ve really grown to love them. Tera takes really good care of my pomeranian Josie and does an amazing job on her cut and color. When I pick her up she’s happy and smells really good. They offer fun bandanas and have a cute lil photo station. I really love going to them and Tera is the best groomer I’ve found for my baby. Thank you so much and I’ll definitely keep coming back.

I brought my labradoodle to this facility a few times, but one time she was cut on the neck so badly that she needed 10 stitches and had to go to the emergency hospital. The gash was much more than any scissors could do. So they were great other than this one instance, but the instance will not let me spend anymore time at this business

Did the DIY dog wash and it was really great! Workers explained how everything worked and they have a great variety of products to use on your dog. My pug has odor issues and their products made her smell really nice. Plus, they have free treats to give to your dog. Will be coming back for sure!

I'm here visiting with my dog and she needed a good bath before being in the hotel room and out in public.Great dog wash. Good air conditioning, shampoo, conditioner, ear cleaner , and towels. Everything you need to give your pooch a good bath. Staff was nice and helpful. 🙂

This review will not disclose the name of the groomer.I had a terrible experience with Lucky Dog Wash and Grooming. My dog came back without her nails trimmed and her legs were never touched. Her body and face were groomed, just not her legs for some reason. When I asked if she could go back and get her legs trimmed up, I was told I had to pay for her to get a bath to have her trimmed. I thought it was ridiculous that they wanted me to pay more money for a mistake they made. They lacked accountability and professionalism in grooming my dog. While not every groomer may be like the one I had, the way they handled the situation was awful. I do not recommend them. There are plenty of other groomers that respect you and your dog in College Station.

Our dog was well cared for and clean when I picked her up. The service is not cheap. The people that work there love dogs and treat them well.I have been back several times since this initial review and I really appreciate the service and attention shared with our big dog. We get her nails cut and dremeled frequently and Lucky Dog is terrific.

We took our pup here for a much needed bath and haircut and nail trim. She was a rescue and hadn’t had a proper grooming. Lucky Dog did wonderfully with her! It didn’t take too long and they were patient with her when she got spooked by the blow dryer.

First kudo’s to happy friendly staff !!The dog bath, took me a minute to notice the towels were off to the side. I am used to them handed to you when you arrive. The did not have face wash or paw conditioner. The dog bath sprayers for good sake you need the hand of a large man to man handle them. Hard to use ridiculously large, car wash handles are smaller and easier ! Not really but they are easier. The dog dryers , just no. The last thing I wanted to do was have to go home and change from the dog hair. The room was full, and I mean full of dog hair. Grouse !! A quick sweep after the last dog would have been appreciated. I do realize yes I get some hair from my own dog. Key words there my own dog. The staff five stars. The way they run the place a two. I have been to several as we travel so I do have many to compare. Side note, the amount of pop in from staff friends was pretty extensive and very distracting for the dogs as well.

This is my GO to dog wash! Since neither of my dogs need special grooming I always do the diy dog wash, because who wants to have to clean up post bath at home right? One of my dogs wears a muzzle, and the staff was so muzzle positive (big plus for those of us with muzzled mutts) I can call ahead and ask how many dogs are there/scheduled to be there too, so I can better plan my reactive boys trip-AND even he absolutely loves it there.

Special thanks to Misty for helping us get set up, Jessica for my itty bitty baby's Spa & Pamper day & Ashley M. for our other baby girls Spa Day! I talked to many other staff as well in person and on the phone and they were all so super sweet. They treat their customers kind which makes me comfortable leaving my babies! First visit to this groomer. I've used two other pet grooming salons during the past two-and-a-half years, experiences which were not impressive. Lucky Dog will hopefully be a lucky choice for both dog and human. I appreciate being able to interact with one person for both drop off and pick up. Apparently, the groomer washes and grooms the same dog. The previous grooming business utilized separate washing and grooming personnel. Because of this arrangement, I think the dog may have been roughly handled during the washing process, and I have some anecdotal evidence to support this notion. (The dog would look very distressed when I entered the salon area and looked frayed after returning home, napping for much of the remaining day. I also heard a few unhappy pooch sounds emanating from the backroom.)Picking up from the same person allows me the opportunity to check results and reward (compliment and tip) the person who did the work. My experience today was with Jessica. She had a pleasant disposition, and I can report the dog looked relaxed when I picked up. He seems to have had an okay experience at Lucky Dog. And I hope future visits will be satisfactory as well.

I really like this place. I love that the staff remember my dogs name and when we walk in they greet him, even though we don't go very often and only use the walk in bath stations. The drying area could use some updates/repairs but overall the facility is exactly what we need. I can't speak much towards their other services but the DIY dog wash is fantastic!

Lucky Duck Wash is a nice place for DIY washing....except that they don't keep the place clean. I was there today to wash and dry two dogs. Washing went fine. Drying not so much. There was dog fur everywhere, and an employee in the drying room with me, drying another dog, could not possibly have missed all the flying hair when I turned on the blow drying device. When questioned at checkout, this same employee acknowledged the flying fur and told me that 'they had a husky in earlier'. Not understanding if this was intended to answer my question, I asked if that meant the employees do not clean up after husky visits. She said no, that is not what it meant. So I guess she just didn't want to clean that room. When I got home, covered in dog fur, I had to wash all my clothes and shower just to get rid of the fur.

Today I went for the first time. I really liked it and will probably be going back. The prices are reasonable. They tub and shower faucet are easy to use and really get your pet clean. My only issue so far is space for drying and combing. There are only 2 blowers and the brushes were all kept in the front. I should've taken the brush with me when I went to dry my dogs but since it was my first time I didn't really think about it till I was combing them in their entrance area. There was hardly anyone there when I went so there was no wait for the blowers but I still don't think it's adequate to only have 2 blowers and more tubs than that. Anyway, my dogs are super clean and smell awesome and I didn't have all the mess to clean up in my bathroom. It's a win!

Tried to set up an appointment and the female employee was setting me up then just got off phone put me on hold w no warning then took off hold and back on literally 7 times without a word then just hung up after I said hello each time. Love the new arrangement and equipment. I wash my own dog and very much like the facilities. Towels and choice of shampoos are great. Nice having the treats handy. Would like warmer dryers but the current ones will do. Glad I found this place. We have a large breed dog.

Very cool place to self wash your favorite doggos or schedule them for a staff wash or grooming service. So far I have only used the self wash, but I plan to start using their grooming service for my German Shepherd and the staff wash/nail clip for my Lab. I also originally felt like the price was a bit steep for the self wash. But after going I was impressed with what they give you (including treats) for the wash so I think their pricing is fair.

I have had 2 somewhat positive experiences with this establishment, but overall, I am completely unsatisfied. This last haircut, they cut the ears when I specifically said to leave them long. The exact opposite of what I said was done.This last go around has been the most frustrating. It seems like I can never get a hold of someone on the phone, and when I do, they’re rude. I’ve been calling for weeks trying to book an appointment and to my avail, was placed on hold 3x. The first time I was hung up on, the second time I was forgotten about (27 minute hold), and the third I outright heard someone punching in buttons trying to make another phone call on top of mine.I’m frustrated as I have been trying to book an EASY low-maintenance grooming appointment and they can’t spare a few minutes of their time. This has been an ongoing 3 week ordeal. I will be taking my business elsewhere.I am patient and understanding, but nobody was willing to work with me.I would not recommend this place for simple needs. My experience here was amazing!!!!!!! You can rent Clippers to clip your dog's wash them dry them to the dogs get treats it is the very best that I have been to the staff is extra friendly and very welcoming words can't describe how great this place is you have to go and try it to believe me they have washing areas for all types of animals for the chihuahuas and the Great Danes most places are very dirty but this place by far is the cleanest I have seen they don't only help you spoil your pet they spoil you as well and all of the shampoos and perfumes that they have for the pets smell wonderful there's not one of them that doesn't smell amazing and the pricing is awesome as well they go by weight of your pet and even that isn't too bad great price great people great owner

I am editing my review since the new management has changed the features that I actually enjoyed, such as reducing the space for walk-in washes/dryer's space, and pushing towards booking groomer appointments.Also the new shampoo/conditioner containers are not the best. Less flexibility and I actually had an allergic reaction to the new shampoo so, not sure what have you guys changed in the formula but itches and irritates human skin.+++++++++++++++++I loved the place since I've found it. Good place, facilities, price, etc. I just gave them 4 starts because i would like them to have hand driers and option of warm air. Overall is really good.
