I checked no but, Yes..this store does have multiple businesses (3)! It's the only grocery store in town. So I'm not complaining. But I did make use of their banana pudding at the deli..I guess! I love the banana pudding and added twice the amount of the ingredients of my own

Over priced on most everything.Freezing cold in there.Produce sux and is so wet and cold that as soon as you get it home it spoils. Most of the staff are friendly, there are quite a few checkers and management that could stand to learn customer service skills

Could be a lil cheaper considering it's a small town would get more customers if lower prices then people wouldn't hafto drive to Brownwood to do the big grocery shopping.

It was a good store. Some good selections of products for a little store. Nice deli crew. They have a hot and ready pizza area but make them only on request. But they did have chicken and sides. I like little stores alot. It's amazing how they have some items that big places overlook.

Good place but it's an only store in small town. Monopoly on area. No other grocery stores until you get to Bangs Texas. Then Brownwood.Good people work here and I think prices should be cheaper. To help local family's get more for their money.

Everything about Shopping basket is great. The employs are very nice, the young men and lady help with the groceries. The fresh food;meat,veggies, and the bakery is good quality food. The store Owner Dennis is very kind Man including the Store Manager's. They are all great. Shopping Basket has been around for as long as I can remember, (I just turned 57). Why 4 star's? My only complaint are the prices. With my low income I can afford very little. "Inflation" is horrible isn't it.

Prices were high with exception of the eggs, they were cheaper than most places. Told the clerk about numerous things being outdated. Hopefully they take care of it. Friendly people and a clean store though.

I’ve never visited this town before, but my Great-Grandmother went to high school in Coleman and I have family here. Forgot a few things on the trip, so I came to Shoppin’ Baskit. I looked around for some of the items before I made my way to the front where at least 4 employees (1 checkout line open) were standing. I asked if they had the item I couldn’t find in the store after explaining I had looked & saw related items. The group exchanged looks, chuckled, and Rachel, the only ACTUAL checker, said they didn’t carry what I was looking for. Fine, no biggie! It’s a smaller grocery store, it was a fat chance of finding the item anyway. I was walking back to the isle and hear snickering from the group. They are speaking loudly enough to hear every word from 10 yards away, saying, “girl, what did you expect” “we don’t have that here” “go to Sally’s if you want that item” etc etc so I turn around and say “I can hear y’all, I’m literally right here” and was ignored. Alisha and 2 male employees were just hanging out by the register.. watching customers wait in a 3 person + line, just chatting as if they had all the time in the world. I was caught off guard by the interaction, so I told my grandpa who came in with me as we waited in the single checkout line. He asked the group if it was really that funny that they didn’t have what I was looking for, and they looked stunned. They denied that they made any rude comments to me and were incredibly.. unprofessional. Rude. Not courteous or hospitable. Alisha, namely, with a terribly defensive attitude. From what else I could hear from the 4’s conversation, it sounded like it was her last day working there. Good riddance! I feel sorry for your future employer.

Great prices on Food Club dairy items. Good hot deli items, specifically the chicken. Regular prices on most food items slightly higher than big chain stores, but when they put items on sale, they mark down prices significantly.

Wonderful front desk customer service! Every Wednesday is a new sale and 8 times out of 10 it's a good one. And every holiday from Christmas to just school being out for the summer are the best sales! They also have an awesome deli with delicious hand fried chicken to name one of many!

This place takes you back in time, and it was pretty much how grocery stores looked back in the 1970s and 1980s. Very well stocked and clean.

In Coleman TX they are the only store in town and they know it. Prices are high for everything. Meat quality is poor. They sell expired products especially dairy. If you can manage it you are better off driving the 50 miles to either Abilene or Brownwood. Even with the cost of gas the final price you pay will be less.Updating a couple of year later. With the price of gas down so are of the prices at Shoppin' Baskit. You still have to watch for expired items still on the shelf. The employees are all friendly except for the "teens" they hire to work the late afternoon and evening...they are more interested in visiting and not working. If you like "chewy" beef they have it in their meat dept. Still the only store in town and they still know it.

The Shoppin Baskit is a great little grocery store where you can not only get all of your groceries, drinks, etc but they also have a great supply of things for hunters coming into town as well. You can buy your hunting licenses here, deer corn, ammo, etc. They even host a big buck contest every year for locally killed, low fence deer; just bring your buck by the store (before skinning it or removing the antlers from the carcass) and let their team measure it for you by their scoring system. Photos will be displayed on the board as new "biggest" so far bucks come in, and then the winner is determined at the end. The prizes are pretty stinkinh good too and it's free to enter!

The last 3 months the store has started looking so much better produce looks really nice. The varieties of meat is gotten much better. Clean the deli up, where you can see it.

For being the only grocery store in town, it's great! Good prices, a few good managers and checkers and a few not-so-good. The owner (Dennis) makes you feel like a friend, not a customer.

It's a nice small grocery store with everything you may need. The produce is always fresh. The only downfall is the price. I feel that they over price all their items to where you might actually save money by making the drive all the way to the Brownwood Walmart.

The store really needs to move to a larger building. The employees and management are super nice and helpful. The store is very outdated. We don't really have any choice in grocery shopping in Coleman.

What can I really say? If your in coleman texas and can't go out of town to shop then shopping basket is the place (only place) to shop....prices tend to be high but they do have most if not everything you could ever want or need ...I give it 5 stars
