The store was clean and easy to navigate.i don't like Petco or PetSmart. Their stuff is usually over priced and the people aren't very polite. I needed allergy chews for my old man. Some work and some don't. Decided to try a new one this time. He is a Cali dog living in Texas and his allergies are insane. Got him a knuckle buster as wellEnded up getting guinea pig forage mix and a few shaped toys for my step dad's new pet as well. The girl behind the counter was super sweet

Great store! The staff was so helpful helping me find something for my dogs shedding. Unfortunately I forgot her name but big shout out regardless! I will be back thanks to her! Boxers rule!!

My first time visiting this location and, as always, I was greeted and taken care of from the moment I stepped in. James is lovely and showed me to some discounted cat treats (which I bought so many of!) and overall was very helpful. Their prices are competitive with those of HEB. Come check them out and considering adopting a cat, bird, or reptile! 😁 I'll be back soon, I'm sure of it.

Manager & other female employee talking about customers in the dog wash area.. dog made a mess, female employee says “wow, I wonder what his house looks like” & “if his dog can’t act right, I don’t understand why he can’t come back when we’re not busy” Right next to me as I’m washing my dog. You shouldn’t talk about other customers NEXT to customers. Then I had to stop blow drying my dog cause someone came to use the washing area. $15 to half way use the wash area & for them to talk about you when you leave.. no thanks. I won’t be going back.

Happy, friendly employees to greet you upon entering. Jordan was very helpful and knowledgeable while I was looking at the fish. Kay is so sweet! Made checking out easy. WIDE variety of pet foods, Accessories, parakeets, adorable kitten for adoption, & a very impressive dog washing station for three. Brazoria County SPCA had an adoption event here today. Highly recommend!

Went in last night and the employees were so helpful! Went back in again this morning 12/15/23 11:30am and there were different employees that did not want to help us. We came back in to look at the ferret that has been there for weeks and the girl lied and said it just came in so we couldn’t hold it. She wouldn’t come out from behind the counter to help us. Do you not want the pets to find a home? Do you not want to do your job by helping customers? Get employees that want to do their job and make money for the store they work for. Will find somewhere else to get a ferret and will not bother the day time employees again. Thank you to the woman and young man working on 12/15/23 for being so helpful.

First of I have to say that the employee named Jordan is awesome! He is very knowledgeable and you can tell he loves animals of all kinds. He is always super friendly and kind. Keep him at all costs! He helped us find the perfect home for our new bunny. He is also really good with the reptiles in the store and he knows a lot about hamsters. Thanks Jordan and Pet Supermarket!

Love this store! So clean and neat. Our dog loved the gourmet treats, they were only 2/$1! Our cashier derrek was so nice and came and helped with what we needed. Overall great store for pet needs!

The best self wash station!!!They have all the soaps imaginable that could be needed included in the basic selfwash price! The blow dryer is really awesome and easily used. Highly recommend!

We like this store better than Pets Mart or Petco. They have a good inventory..good prices..the big difference here is there staff! They are a very friendly helpful staff! They were not hesitant to interact with our dogs and helping us get them fitted up in the harnesses and collars they needled. Also the self serve dog wash is a very cool amenity.

They have a great selection of pet food and different kinds of toys for cats, dogs, other pets as well. They even have a pet washing area you can use for a small fee. I found a nice little harness for my 2 month old chihuahua and the staff is friendly and very helpful.

Lots of dog toys and items. Loved when this place opened and was excited to find something local that had a large bird breed toy selection, however that selection has slowly fallen off to the same average bird toys for smaller breeds everyone else offers. Sure there are some larger toys but not well made to hold up for a macaw.

Nice store with friendly, helpful employees. The atmosphere is more like a grocery store than the "big box" feel of PetSmart. They have pet wash "stalls" that seem very nice. We'll be trying them out sometime in the future.

The staff is friendly and the animals seem well cared for. Clean and well stocked store. My dog was adopted and she hasn't been well socialized. The staff was really good with her, they gave her treats and stopped to pet her several times.

First time they had a cat brought in for a bath. They had fresh towels put out and cleaned up really well after the previous owner and his human were done. I brought my own soap, however, if I hadn't they provide it just not brushes but they are for sell near by bathing area. Also have a drying station that was very useful. 5 stars and two enthusiastic thumbs up, Great Job Pretty Supermarket! 💚🐈🐕🐆🐩💚

I absolutely love shopping at the Pet Supermarket. They always have the dog food I need in stock and with the amount I purchase their rewards program allows me to get $5 off every visit. Being unable to lift much weight, I'm also very greatful for how willing the staff is to help get the food from the shelves, to the register, then to my car.

This place is neat and could be really neat but the past two times I have come to use the dog wash station the customer service has been very poor. I came in once and was told I could only use the station on the right which had not been cleaned and was full of dog hair so I cleaned what I could and bathed my dog while more people came in and used different stations that were clean. I went to use the dog wash again a couple months later and they only had whitening shampoo and told me that was my only option even though I have a black dog. They were not polite about the situation or helpful. I have never left a negative review on a place but unfortunate this place has lost my business.

June 2021 update- I will never go here again. I have 4 dogs, ferrets, and do fostering so as you can imagine I spend a ton there. This location NEVER carries my sized dog food and half the time not the ferret food. It isn’t possible to change flavors or brands each time they decide to not have it in stock. They no longer give the free bag after 9 purchases. Their computers go down constantly or they only except cash. I have stopped counting how many managers they’ve gotten after 6 in 3 years. What a disappointment this store has become.The staff was really nice and took the time to show me where things were located. They are brand new so of course everything is clean. I went without my dogs the 1st time to see any areas to avoid like treat displays so I would know where to avoid walking him. I am my pets advocate so I dont allow people to feed them. What sets this pet store apart from others in our area is the pet bathing station! It is high enough so I don't have to bend over to bath my dogs but still has a spot for dogs who won't climb up. Everything you need is included. They carry dog foods that most pet stores don't like Taste of the Wild and you can get a bag free after buying 9 or 10. That is almost $50 worth of dog food free for me for just buying what I already need.

I’ve been here about 3 times because of how close it is. That said, I’ll just drive to lake Jackson. Every single time I’ve been here, it’s all ways a group of kids and one old lady who huddle around the desk. You come in they all turn look at at you and go back to laughing. When you check out it’s awkward because you just feel like your bothering the hangout, does anybody ever work here? Or is it just a weird high school hang out? Granted I don’t care, sick of feeling uncomfortable everytime I’m here. The people at petco & petsmart in lake Jackson are nice enough and will actually help you.

I came here in order to wash my dog in the pet washing stations. This service was amazing! Groomers hugely stress my dog out, but washing him in the tub at home is difficult and annoying. The dog washing stations at Pet Supermarket were clean, easy to use, stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner, and blow drying stations. The atmosphere in the store is fairly quiet and peaceful, so my dog was able to relax and not stress out at all about the bath. Using these stations was completely worth the $10, and probably quite a bit more!

Wonderful place to shop for all your pets needs. They even help out local shelters to adopt cats and kittens. Service is always very courteous and knowledgeable.
