They have stuff you need when you need it. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful.....sometimes a little too helpful, but helpful. Prices are steep but hey the closest BIG STUFF STORE is 50 miles in any direction so ACE gets the coinage.

They have a nice new location which is super clean, super helpful and super friendly. Their only downfall is they are also expensive. Still, thru normally have what you need and you do not have to go to Waco or anywhere else to get what you need. Saving gas and the headache helps make up for the expense.

So, I used to never shop at Ace. Simply because their prices can't compete with the big box stores. However, after I've bought things like 2 Stihl chainsaws and a variety of other things there, and I have fallen in love with the Ace experience! The staff is typically very, very knowledgeable, and super friendly. See, you can't get friendly service of this caliber very many places!

My husband and I shop at Keith's ACE Hardware and we're impressed and so pleased at the New Store in Clifton. Well marked aisles. Easy to find what we need and enjoy shop-looking so we can see everything! Although we were always greeted at the "old" store, the representatives great people with smiles in their voices. Beautifully laid out store with more aisle room to shop.

Used to be our favorite Ace location, before Valley Mills opened. Sadly, neither my husband or I have had a good experience shopping the Clifton Ace for the past year. No help from the employees - in fact, on several occasions the manager and employees actually stand right in your way in the aisles talking to each other. Never looking up, never acknowledging the customer and never offering help. Over the years we would look forward to shopping their garden dept... the two ladies who worked primarily with the plants were knowledgeable & always so friendly & helpful. Neither are there anymore and the garden center has zero to offer. There was also a friendly & helpful crew inside - none seem to work there anymore. So sad to see this happen to this location. Thankfully the Valley Mills Ace is top notch!!!

Love this place. This is my go to to get all my supplies. The staff is friendly and helpful. They recognize if you need help when they pass you and are ready to serve you. Great place.

Always a great experience. Went in after bbq seasoning left with flowers and shrubs for the yard. Great selection of seasonings only one in my area carrying b&b as well as meat church.

The new place doesn't have the large gardening / nursery area that the old place did. Most employees seem clueless. Carry every type of sand except what I want - no offer to get it for me. How is that different from a big box store?

UPDATE: I s can count on what I need at ACEWithout a doubt, I can count on getting a answer to a fixit question at ACE. There's someone (most times) to help with a problem you might have around the house and/or mechanical, plumbing, electrical. Their workers are well connected to each other with internal intercom system that helps when one worker is more experience than another in a particular area.

I have had to get plumbing parts twice in the past couple of weeks. Each time the 2 or 3 people who helped me were extremely helpful and very friendly.
