First time to shop there. Looks like they have a good inventory. I ordered online for self pickup. Product was ready very quickly, however only one person of four knew where it was located. Probably need a little more training, this is a new store.

I'd never been to the Cleveland location and had no idea where to find toggle bolts. Thankfully Blake was there and showed me where they were and made sure all 10 were the same size, bagged the, priced them and I was on my way in no time. Was looking for a light bulb that stays lit for 24 hours if the power goes out.I shopped at 3 different ACE HARDWAREKATY, SPRING, AND CLEVELAND.Just to get stocking stuffersAfter paying $16.99 +tax for a single bulb. I found the similar bulb packed in 2 for $24.+ Tax at Cleveland Walmart

I called ahead this morning to explain that I needed a propane tank filled. I explained that it was on a trailer, not an RV! They said they could fill it and even asked the manager who affirmed they could. I brought it to the store then they say that cannot. No explanation, no sorry we made a mistake, just an attitude like oh well, too bad! Great customer service, NOT!

Just got turned down buy protech hardware 5 minutes before they're supposed to close at 5:00 meaning to purchase plumber's putty the door was locked early but came to Ace hardware when it was after 5:00 the door was locked but I probably knocked on the door and was allowed in to make my purchase that's how business is done

Came to exchange 2- 1 1/2 female thread x1 1/2 male insert gray MPT fittings for 2- 1 1/2x1 1/4. The same thing but I needed a. 1/4 smaller. They charged me more for the smaller fitting. I was charged .87c more. Someone help understand this? Ace is starting to use the same practice as McCoy’s?I have never been charged more money for a smaller fitting made out of the same material.THIS IS CRAZY!!!!!!Now for the young lady that took care of me, was very friendly and nice.But from now on, I am going to think twice about doing business with ace.
