We make the drive between CO and TX several times a year and I was glad to discover this delicious breakfast (and lunch) stop with great coffee and pastries as well as breakfast and lunch sandwiches. We had several breakfast items including the toaster sandwich, kolaches and a danish - all were excellent, especially the sandwich. It’s also a very cute Christian store offering lots of beautiful decor and gifts including Tyler brand candles and detergent. Ample and wide parking cross the road (easy-in for RV rigs) at the town hall with a beautiful grass lawn.

A perfect little enterprising burrow located in Claude, TX a simple left ( If you’re driving from Dallas ) at the light in town and you’re there.Artisan owned and run with so much heart and goodness. The breakfast was just right and there’s a park bench for further convenience that they’ll gladly bring your order to. No pictures of the good food this time as we wolfed it down.Thank you Burrow.

We stopped for breakfast on our way out of Merus Adventure Park (Palo Duro Canyon). This is a great option for coffees, teas, fresh pastries, breakfast, and lunch. They also have a gift shop with warm blankets if needed for the park.

Breakfast was unbelievable. My kids wanted Chicfila, I told them they would like this more, they fought it, and afterwards they said thanks, they loved it this morning and were glad we stopped. Highly recommend this place.

This is a wonderful sandwich shop. They have teas and coffee. There is an old fashioned general store type atmosphere where you immediately feel welcomed. Try it out. You won't be disappointed!

This was a great coffee stop for mid-morning brunch and coffee. It all tasted great, they had many options to choose from. The coffee was delicious. The atmosphere is fun and have great gift options. My kids loved their vinyl sticker options for their water bottles. Definitely worth the stop when you are driving between Amarillo and Dallas!

Stopped in after seeing advert for this place. Walking in the shop you are amazed with how they tried keeping the charm of an old building. They have small selection of sandwiches and personal pizza. We got sandwiches on our stop. Once placing order did not take long for them to come to the table. The biggest problem was that they came cold except bread was warm from grill and had burned bits from other sandwiches. No condiments that we could find for them so that they would not be so dry. Not sure how long they have been open to get the kinks worked out. We over heard they were busy with lunch. But it was only 12:15 on our stop! We will be stopping somewhere else soon to eat again. We were going for more with such a great building.

These are the places that make traveling so much fun! You walk through the door and go back in time to a simpler way of life. Antiques, books, and nostalgic items for sale, delicious handmade sandwiches that definitely didn’t roll off a conveyer belt, espresso based coffees, and a delightful selection of fresh baked pastries. There’s something for everyone at The Burrow. And oh yeah, they will deliver your food to you if you want to have a picnic on the nearby grassy lawn. How’s that for small town hospitality!

First time at the Burrow. My 13 year-old daughter told me next time I was in Claude to buy her a jalepeno popper pizza because she'd previously had one there. I ordered the pizza online with a nice young lady who told me to pick it up in 10 minutes. It was ready 10 minutes later and the sweet tea advertised in the front window was the best sweet tea I've ever had. Thank you very much.

Stopped by during a road trip and it was such a lovely atmosphere. Had an iced coffee and Breakfast Pita and I've honestly thought about that pita every single day. Was absolutely delicious. Staff was super nice, would stop by again!!

The food was really good, but I was REALLY looking forward to my coffee. It was too hot to drink, while I was there. No problem. I'd just let it cool during my drive back to Amarillo and enjoy it when I got home. Well, the cup is paper and had disentegrated, by the time that I got home. My coffee was now all in my drink holders

The Burrow is a cute little restaurant. My wife and I stopped on our way to Colorado. They have a great menu and the staff is very friendly. I had the Italian Job sandwich and it was delicious. I also had a cherry limeade and it was very good.

Wanted a good coffee on our way from Texas to Idaho. This little place was right on our route and a fabulous find! The 'general store' was filled with all kinds of unique items. Wish I had had more time to shop! The coffee was absolutely wonderful and the cups they served it in were great! The staff was friendly and greeted us immediately when we walked in the door. Definitely a 'home town' vibe and we loved it.

We stopped by on our way back home from vacation and I am so glad we did. Everything from the decor to the food is top notch. I love the market inside where you can find some really cute gifts. I got the peppermint sweet tea and I haven't had a sweet tea that smooth and I was born and raised in Texas. If I could have bought it by the gallon I would have been happy. I was craving something sweet and had a cookie and it was one of the best I've had. This will definitely be a stop when I'm in the area.

We were traveling on US 287 and didn't want to stop at a chain restaurant. Felt so lucky to find this place, the sandwich was excellent and service was great! Neat shop to browse also. Definitely worth seeking out for a quick bite and tea or coffee. Easy RV parking across the street.

An absolute GEM! The service was so good that we found ourselves spending a little more time hanging out and shopping around than we would have otherwise. The feeling of a warm welcome is unmatched. As for the food, the breakfast pita was hot, fresh, and what my savory breakfast dreams are made of! The hot latte had a nutty flavor and complimented breakfast well. My husband mentioned it was a real treat to have a tasty cherry turnover, it was flaky and fresh. We added Burrows coffee to our must-stops list when traveling between Texas and Colorado. An absolute GEM 💎

What a blessing to come through Claude early enough to visit the Burrow! Such a cool little place. Found some neat gift items, and had a delicious sandwich and coffee to boot. Want to come back on a warm calm day and take advantage of the picnic blankets. What a cool idea! And absolutely LOVE the scripture over the door. Really touched my heart. Thank you for providing such a wonderful little gathering spot.

We were on a road trip heading towards Wichita Falls and wanted to make a quick stop for coffee. I am so glad we found this place. The host was extremely hospitable, ambience charming, we were planning to grab coffee and go,but decided to sit down and enjoy our drinks to soak in the wonderful vibes this cute little coffee shop has <3. They have some wonderful local products on sale along with Melissa and Doug toy section for kids. **I would like to add, they even customized a sandwich to accommodate my vegetarian dietary needs :-)**
