These ladies were amazing with king kong. First time to go to vet and they were amazing at giving him time to get familiar with his surroundings. He only growled twice and didn't bark once. Highly recommend taking your pet there..3/13/24 UPDATE just had King Kong neutered and once again this place has been great. Thank you guys

Writing this review 2 years after our dog had surgery here, and I cannot recommend this place enough! Our 6 month old puppy broke his elbow and we were quoted extremely high for surgery at multiple vets in Dallas. Through word of mouth, I was referred here! We emailed the X-rays, and were quoted significantly less for the same surgery! We did the far drive and he spent the night after surgery (which was great for peace of mind) and everything went well! He is now 3 and thriving and we haven’t had any issues with his little arm!

We have always had good experiences at Lazy 3! This visit was no different. The staff are friendly and helpful. They always treat the animals like they would treat their own pets, with love and care. Our pets don’t mind going there.

Great vet that took care of our fur babies. 3 dogs and 2 cats all put on flea and tick medication. One benign tumor from a grumpy cat removed. One doggo started her Heartworm treatment. Prices are much more affordable than other vets towards the metroplex.

I had my 20+ year old horse's teeth floated and on another visit had him treated for arthritis. The entire team did a great job answering my questions and made sure I didn't have anymore questions. They were gentle with my horse and I will be back!

I have a baby goat 3 months old that was very sick. I called Lazy 3 and they could get me in within the next 45 minutes. The office staff was GREAT!! He is doing so much better now and I have Lazy 3 to thank for it.

Started going to L3 5yrs ago. It was very comfortable and affordable. Since it has been purchased by a national chain the environment is hectic, appointments are difficult to get and prices have sky rocketed. There are also charges for everything, such as getting worked into the schedule for emergencies and sending a script to outside pharmacy.

They are so good with my dog Thor, he’s usually timid around people and they are great with him, they remember who he is when we bring him in ( I usually Dress him 🙂) They are very thorough and patient. We are comfortable coming here and plan to continue bringing our boy here!

This place has the best interest of the animal. I've never had a bad experience and been going here 3 years now. They've made sure that my animals have been well taken care of including my jerk cats who don't like people. My so called "dangerous" dog don't even give them a hard time either. They sit and let them do their job and they're awesome about it. Probably best vet place I've been to in years and highly recommend them.

My story goes way back, all they way to 2004. It starts with my dog who was attacked by a pitbull and had surgery with Dr. Bailey. My dog ended up with fluid under his jaw after the surgery. I was told it would heal on it's own, and they drained it multiple times. Not one time did they tell me it was a salivary gland! Not one word. He died because the fluid built up and he couldn't breathe. I never knew what why he passed, i thought it was infection, which they gave me antibiotics for and said it would make him better. Then in 2016 I had another dog, Anne. She was sick and threw up red slimy stuff. I took her in and got Bailey again. He gave her some lasix and bp meds and said she could live for years with CHF. A month later she suffocated before we could reach the vets office, she died in my arms. When I got there Dr Bailey said "I was expecting this" as he took her to go check that she had passed. I'll never forget my Anney begging for help and being helpless or watching her suffocating, and I'll never forget his words. The only vet there that has any care is Dr. Browning but he too is limited on his knowledge of dogs. Between 2017 and 2022 he misdiagnosed my dog "Bubby" who had pancreatitis, and dilated cardiomyopathy. When I moved I found a veterinarian and I found with a simple blood test my dog had pancreatitis that it wasn't just "constipation". Now my dog is being treated with the right meds and if I had continued to take him here I'm sure he would have died. Be aware that there are other vets in Abilene, brownwood and stephenville, it's a bit of a drive but it might save your pets life. Dr. Bailey also did the surgery to fix my dog and we found out through our new vet that his bladder had been punctured, our new vet believes it was during that surgery since my dog had never had previous surgeries in that general area. All the times I've been lied to by these men. Maybe they forgot why they became a veterinarian, or maybe it was just for the money. I give them ZERO stars!!!!

Our visit on 9-26-23 with Dr. Haile proved to be exceptional. Thanks to all providers and staff for friendly, professional, yet personable care for my baby dog. There is a certainty when I take both of my dogs for care that their best interests are primary. Also, the way you all prioritize conservative practices above financial gain is appreciated.

Dr. Baumgartner was awesome. Our dog was bitten by a copperhead. Called after hours for an emergency call. After hearing everything about it, he suggested waiting until we could bring him to the office during regular hours. Because of his size and location of the bite, he said he would be fine. The office visit, with shots, was less than 200 instead of 800+. A week later, the dog is doing great. It's nice to find a great vet who is very knowledgeable, caring, and is not just trying to make every penny he can. Recently moved to town, and we now have a vet for our dogs.

The staff at Lazy 3 were wonderful! Even with my Tati going nuts wanting to smell everything and and everyone, they were patient with us and worked around her chaos. The vet tech was loving, happy and braved getting bit as she put treats on her hand while she shots. (No humans or animals were hurt in the making of this review.) The dr. listened to my concerns and checked her out completely. I am very excited to make Lazy 3 our veterinarian.

My husband and I were visiting family and went fishing when my mini dachshund ATE a fishing hook. We called the emergency line for the vet and the vet met with us at 10 o’clock at night, gave our pup X-rays, and got him prepped for emergency surgery all while keeping me and our little buddy calm. Dr. Caleb Baumgardner was absolutely wonderful and completely honest about everything. If we didn’t live three hours away this would be our primary vet, but since we do I highly encourage everyone in the area to use them for their fury companions.

The staff and doctors care and are there after hours for emergencies my Yorkie had to have emergency surgery from eating chicken bones and dr Baumgartner and his team were very compassionate and kept me informed the whole time they were able to help save my yorkie.
