This has to be the best Petco store in Texas/US. Jonathan is literally the best associate I have ever met. I stopped by today to pick up more ferret food, and he literally remembered me purchasing my ferret baby from two months ago. He remembered everything I told him and even asked about my other ones. He is so caring and amazing. I hate shopping in the store and do my best to avoid it, but I stopped in today, and he treated me like he saw me yesterday. I can not even write good enough things. He makes this store, and he is an absolute asset to the company.

Ever since covid there has been a huge issue with dumb people working in the real world. Petco in Cibolo has Exceeded my expectations. Every time we go in this place. The staff is very knowledgeable and very helpful which you don't get very often anymore. I want to thank you all that work there for helping me and my wife for the last few Times have we been in there. It's much appreciated and you deserve a 5 star rating.

I came in without any knowledge of a dog in heat and almost in tears. I had an appointment for my granddaughters dog 2 days after receiving her and not knowing they would not be able to take her because she is in heat. Kay did not stop at that!! She helped me find the right food , something more suitable than disposable dog diapers and she was very kind and considerate of my almost mental breakdown. She also offered some great advice did a price match and offered to help me to my car!! I know that this was not her assigned job task and she was quite busy , but she acted like I was the only customer in the store!! Kiddos to Kay for going way beyond her necessary tasks to help me feel more comfortable about taking too much of her time. Thank you Kat! You will never know what that moment in that day meant.

We love going here just for fun! They always have a ton of cats for adoption and loads of other pets from birds to ferrets. They have a get selection of food and the staff is always super friendly and helpful.

It was a nice shopping experience! Store was quite, not a lot of people and staff was very helpfull! Had a goos selection of what i waslooking for which was bath stuff and lotions/ creams for sensitive skin and inflammation on the skin. And shirts to cover while healing for allergies to buggs and grass. I ended up getting a potty pad that looks like grass kinda to keep her away from the Grass and fleas and CBD cream , and 3 shirts.

Very humble and helping staff i was sold a bearded dragon with a broken tail but i was unfamiliar with the issue as im inexperienced i then took it to the vet paid the bill jus for them to tell me that the baby beardie was injured and had lost sensation half way up its tail and had developed tail rot as i could not afford the amputation i returned it for another one the feeling jus wasn’t the same as id grown attached to the previous beardie the next day the vet called me and told me the bill was significantly lowered so i went back to try and get my old beardie they told me as long as i wasn’t the leading cause i could get it back when it was up to health so i gave them my number and waited a week and a half i then called back today jus for im assuming the lead manager to blame me for the injury even though i only had the beardie for 3 days and the injury was weeks old told to me by a vet and that i was have to be put on standby while they consider it amongst eachother and that when she gave it to me it was perfectly fine end of the story i get it right it’s a business and yall have to cover yourselves but if i wasn’t passionate about the beardie i wouldn’t have taken it to the vet i wouldn’t have paid the bill and i wouldn’t have dropped a grand setting his new home up and i wouldn’t be going to this length to try and get it back some feedback would be great.

I had my dog’s nails clipped and buffed and the technician was outstanding. I had an appointment and when I arrived they took my dog right in with no waiting. This is the first time I’ve been here and I have already made another appointment for next month.

Took my baby girl mamas to get heart worm tested before they could prescribe her new heart worm meds. We also did some girl shopping for a cute outfit. We need to make sure we stay fit, because Mamas mom is an INDEPENDENT VIVRI LEADER, who promotes nutrition.Anyone interested in an essential nutrition system that is delicious, easy and practical.If you don’t have time to eat, a VIVRI meal replacement is the way to go.

We purchased our bearded dragon fromPetco. While the staff was friendly we were given misinformation regarding the proper care of her as well as she had tail rot. Other than that, I’ve been pleased with the selection of pet care items and feeder insects! We most recently purchased a parakeet from this location who is a very beautiful, healthy, and happy young bird.

We recently had our first purchase at a Petco. At first, we were disappointed with circumstances of an online order. But customer service, out of the blue, reached out and fixed it. We were just going to let it go. Very impressed they took the time. The store is great. Our purchase was black aquarium sand. Very high quality!!!! We wanted to leave a review here because our Petco review link expired and they deserve the 5 rating.

The employees at this store were dismissive and were not helpful at all. I only wanted to buy some fish for my kids but after my husband asked for assistance twice, being ignored, and waiting for 20+ mins (in an almost empty store) we just decided to leave and console our kids in the car. I guess our money was no good to them there.My husband went to speak to one gentleman (who never came over to assist) and all he did was follow female customers and flirt with them. He even went back behind the register with no customers, and while his coworker was ringing up the young ladies (that he was following around the store), he stood there and continued to flirt.They have piss-poor business practices and customer service. I would not recommend anyone going to this store, I would’ve given 0 stars but that wasn’t an option.I visited the store on 13 Sept 23 between 5:15-5:45.

We went in yesterday to pick up some toys and treats for our dog that wer'e fostering and I wound up getting a new fish tank, and the works for a betta that the kiddos wanted. Lol. The employees were very nice and informative, definitely will be coming back here for any future pet needs !

Can't tell you how many times I come here and just stand at the register for 3-4 minutes with no cashier in sight. Never deal with this at ANY other location. Might want to invest in a bell. IN RESPONSE TO YOUR REPLY... There was NO line. Just me standing there by myself waiting for a cashier to appear.

The groomers are amazing here. My dog always fight me when I try to bathe him, but they always shower him with complements about how well he did when I come to pick him him. Valen does great work, my dog looks and smells amazing, thanks!

This was Rocko’s first nail grooming, we were nervous because he’s an aggressive dog.Paige put us all at ease, she was so kind and gentle with our Rccko. Went in twice in a row and had to be rescheduled the day of because the person who confirmed 24 hours prior “wasn’t available” that day , went in a 3rd time dropped off my dog and got called 30 minutes later to be told that something was wrong with her and they couldn’t cut her hair so they cut her nails instead and sent her away. Poor customer service, poor staff, why even confirm a date if the person cutting her hair “wasn’t there” coincidentally every single time her appointment time came.

On June 16th I went into the Petco in cibolo & I noticed there was a vailed chameleon in with the Jackson & being an experienced chameleon owner I knew this was bad. I wanted to add another into my home ; this made me sad & upset. I wanted to mention it to one of the employees & that’s when I over heard the general manager informing an employee that he is the one who did it because the other Jackson’s were picking on him. If you take a animal out of a stressful situation just to put into another stressful situation?! It’s sad to think this person is training people & it shows how Petco’s trains there managers.

We went to the Cibolo Tx location yesterday and it was NOT a pleasant experience. The store was a mess with new product in the isles. We finally found the products and went to check out but nobody was at either register. We stood there 5-10 minutes and nobody showed. My wife went and found an employee and he acted like he was put off that someone bothered him. He was not friendly at all and no thank you or anything. Enough with Petco and we will continue to shop at Petsmart.
