We moved to Brenham this past spring, and being new to the area, we had no idea who to use for boarding services. After researching several places, we chose Chappell Hill Pet Resort, and we couldn't ask for a better place to take care of our "kids" while we're out of town. They get excited when we turn down the road because they know where they're going, and they're always happy to go inside.I know they get excellent care while they're there, and special requests, such as medicine, are followed exactly.I highly recommend Chappell Hill Pet Resort for boarding services. Your fur babies will be loved extremely well-cared for.

I absolutely love this place. It’s a family run business on a large ranch property right off the highway. Megan is so personable! They seem to take care of the dogs as if each one of them was their own. They send fun photo updates while you are gone. My pup comes back exhausted from all the fun and playtime she gets when she is there. The prices are so reasonable especially for all they do to ensure a great stay for your pet. Highly recommend to all, especially dogs who love the outdoors.

Best Place to leave our fur babies! Second time that my Oliver stays with these amazing people who only love on my baby! I don't enjoy writing negative reviews; however, I feel that all need to beware of this facility. I brought my 4 dogs here to board after very short notice. I needed to leave town unexpectedly for the night. I have never used Chappell Hill Pet Resort before, but it was recommended to me. My dogs had received all vaccinations prior to boarding in anticipation of boarding them for several nights at the end of the month. They were also scheduled for grooming at the end of the month. I spoke with one of the owners, Megan, who first told me she was really busy that weekend, but then said she would get them groomed for me. I brought my dogs in on a Saturday and picked them up the following day. Not only were my dogs terrified and hiding under the cot in the suite (they were boarded together) when I picked them up, they hadn't been groomed. They had also not been taken out to use the bathroom because they were too scared. No one called to tell me.When I picked them up Sunday morning I was furious. Megan even had the audacity to still charge me for boarding even though the additional playtime had not happened, my dogs were terrified, they weren't groomed, and to add insult to injury two of my dogs got kennel cough. By the way, I specifically asked Megan about kennel cough before boarding my dogs because my vet told me Chappell Hill had a very high number of dogs getting this. Megan told me they haven't had a case since August 2022.I tried to talk to Megan about this and instead of apologizing for any misunderstanding, she became very defensive, nasty, and told me that all of her conversations on the phone are recorded and she'll pull up the conversation she had with me. I told her I'd like to get a copy of that which she said she would gladly provide. To date I've received nothing. Not her "recorded" conversation with me, not an apology from Megan or her husband (the owners), and certainly not a refund.I recommend you run from Chappell Hill Pet Resort. It's not worth putting your beloved dogs at health risks or emotional turmoil. We are all still recovering.

Thank you so much for taking such good care of Riley! I saw a picture of her at the pond looking very content 😍. With working out of town so much it is such a peaceful feeling to know that I have a safe place for a Riley to go to! This place takes wonderful care of your dog! I now have no worries while Riley is boarded here They take care of Riley. I have a used them few times and two of my children board there dogs here at Chappell Hill Pet Resort also. My son and daughter will travel a few hours to board their dog here. It is worth the peace of mind mind your unable to have them with you!

Will not be returning. Your reply says you do not show us as a client. We were there Monday, 2.6.23. Our dogs are Milo and Rocco. We submitted all the paperwork and the young man even made copies at your house and gave me my forms back to me. I called the Sunday before to confirm you opened at 7:30. We arrived at 7:41 and the front door had a closed sign. I started calling for 6 mins over and over and kept getting a message. My husband had a 9:00 chemo treatment that morning and that is why I confirmed twice you opened at 7:30. Finally, at 7:50 a man sauntered out of the home very carefree. I was furious there was no one there. The man asked me if I expected someone to stay there with the dogs. Yes, I do expect someone to be there during your posted hours. I had the same experience when we came to tour, no one was in the building with the dogs. I was so excited to give my business to a family owned business but after seeing how unprofessional things are, we will not be returning. I am more than happy to send you my receipt to refresh your memory of us being a client.

Pet boarding with secure kennels and lots of space to roam. It helped us enjoy our getaway knowing they were safe and had lots of space to roam. Great for our dogs who like to have a run and cover a lot of territory.Super helpful that they allow Sunday drop.off/pick up times.

First time taking our fur babies here and will never bring them back, not sure if they preference certain dogs with all these great reviews but ours didn’t seem well taken care of at all! First thing they did was pee outside for a very long time! Which makes me think how often they take them out to go potty, then as soon as we get home our dog pees for another 5minutes ? Then as soon as we walk in they run straight to the water bowl, these are all red flags for me, never again, I hope others dont have the same experience we did.

1 month ago I boarded my 1 yr old Shih Tzu, Bailey, with Chappell Hill Pet Resort and she fell in love there! I was nervous since she had never boarded or even been away from me for more than 24hrs. Megan and her family were so accommodating and kind, it made leaving her so much easier. I trusted that she was well taken care of and did not have to worry. They offer several activities tailored to your fur babies preference as well as grooming. Bailey and I definitely will be back! We love Chappell Hill Pet Resort!

This was my puppies first stay at Chappell Hill Pet Resort and my pups loved it! They are a little older now and not the friendliest but they were introduced to other dogs appropriately and got to run around and play with them! I was thrilled! Both of my dogs also get scared during thunderstorms, so I was a little hesitant knowing it was going to be a stormy weekend. I got a text after the storm stating that when they went to check on my pups during the storm the building was so well insulated both of my dogs were happily sleeping!We will definitely be using Chappell Hill Pet Resort again!

Nate and Megan took such good care of my dog, took him on walks, and worked with him to find safe play mates to ensure he and other dogs had a great stay here. When I picked him up, Tucker didn't even want to leave. I'm already booking another boarding stay in July!

They treat their guests like family. they also offer all kinds of fun doggie amenities at a very reasonable price. Now I don’t worry when I have to leave my babe behind. :)

We picked up Gus yesterday, after his course in obedience training. He’s a much calmer dog and we just got back from an off leash walk around the property. This would have been impossible before his training. We HIGHLY recommend Nate and the Chappell Hill Pet Resort!

As far as our family is concerned there is not enough good things that we can say about Chapel Hill Pet Resort! It’s more like dropping your dog off with family not like dropping your dog at a kennel. Meagan takes pictures/video of our babygirl Willow and sends them when we’re out of town. It’s always reassuring that we can SEE that our Willow is having a good time. We could not be happier and cannot recommend this place enough!C. Whitehorn

Great service. They left my poodle looking and smelling amazing. I also used their boarding services for over a week and my dog seemed to have not missed me at all. They are very responsive and they messaged me photos of my dog the entire stay. Beautiful facility!

Love bringing my dogs to CHPR! They are always so sweet and loving towards my dogs. So much room for them to run and play, a pond for my water loving dog to play in. They get so much attention and cuddles and they are kind enough to send pictures while your pet stays! Hands down my new go to for pet boarding!
