Always watch the registers to make sure items are ringing up for their sale price... they ring up wrong a lot

Haven't been to food town since I lived is El dorado in clear lake, but this one is HUGE so so so many options and the pricing is very organized nothing blocking aisles like boxes being stocked or waiting to be stocked. Super super impressed by the entire fruit and produce sections. Everything looked so fresh so organized almost ended up buying fruit just because how fresh looking it was, but big sticky mango during my hour drive ahead of me didn't seem like a great idea. Aaaaaaand now I'm thinking about that mango 😭

The place was run down had a 1970 feel to it. Prices for me seemed kinda high but it was the closest store near me. saw a few people in the parking lot that looked " suspect" average Houston grocery store. 😂 You'll really enjoy shopping here...

Awesome experience to shop food town I shop there alot my whole family shops there management is very good there all the employees are always with smile and work hard I appreciate them for taking there time when I looking for something that I need if I am in a hurry... I recommend anyone to come shop here .

Great prices on basics. No deli, no bakery, no frills. Just an old school style grocery store, except the meat dept. Not old school there- no custom cuts there or old school customer service, but prices are great, but don't expect to be able to order a steak cut to the thickness you want, I have never seen the butcher and shopped there 20 years.

Been shopping here for almost 50 years. Be care of the homeless and vagrants in the area This place does lot of business with the local Marina's so produce and food always fresh.Best meat in town and good prices. Stock up on Oct. Prices I'll go up in November for Thanksgiving. Great store and courteous help. Good managers.

For the most part, the staff is friendly. However, a couple of the managers can be rude sometimes. There's one in particular (a white man) who always acts like we're trying to steal. I literally get really bad anxiety when I come to the store.The only reason I shop here is because it's the closest thing I have around me, but they make me feel very uncomfortable. 😒

The place is a little run down. But the selection is decent, the staff is very friendly, and they have some pretty good deals. Not my first choice in grocery stores, but it gets the job done in a pinch and it's not bad if you like shopping around for deals

Always a good experience at this Food Town location. They stay open super late and are very convenient. They have the best deals when buying meat and they make dinner time for my family of 6 super affordable! Midday week shopping is the least crowded obviously...but its a grocery store so hey...

My son tried to sell his school fundraiser candy while i went in to buy something. The manager of the store asked him not to. My son respectfully said" yes sir" and went to put his candy back in the car. The manager then acted like my son was trying yo steal the cart and told him to " go ruin someone elses business". It was very inapropriate for him to speak to a child like that. They are ok with drug users hanging out in the parking lot and drinking, but then will get angry at a child for trying to do a fundraiser.
