We enjoyed our RV stay on the island facing the lake! The customer service was very friendly. Be aware that it was very windy on the point and there were plenty of bugs. But the view and location made it all worth it! If the wind might bother you, try booking a site on the island that is across from the boat launch.Walkability: It is a small campground, so it's easy to take a stroll around. We also walked the neighborhood that leads into the campground.

When i was living there about 7 months ago, theee was no quiet time enforcement. Dogs where allowed to run around with no supervision. There were veted residents who had porches and storage units, but the newer residents where not allowed to.I had such noisy neighbers i could not sleep and when i asked if i could m9ve my trailer to a more quiet spot inwas told no because is complained to much.Theee where pin needles which continually fell from the unkept trees making it impossible to maintain upkeep on my trailer roof.I would not recomment staying there for any length of time.I am now in a much better park. Where owners are actuall on site.

It's a very nice place and the people are nice. The only issue we had was they gave someone else our spots when we had already made reservations,and they were paid for. That was not right. That's a good way for people to not come back and not give them good reviews. Luckily, they had 2 spots side by side for us. We drove almost 2 hours to get here. We would not have been happy if there were not 2 spots available. On a side note: they have really nice bathrooms and showers.

Beautiful RV park and a great day fishing spot as well! The store is stocked well and a fun spot to browse. One might think it would contain fishing items only but there is truly something for everyone. The owners are a joy. You can tell they truly care about their patrons by the calm serene environment that they and their staff maintain. A true hidden gem on the lake!

My family recently got our first RV and decided to go to Flat Creek Marina for our first overnight, since we live in Tyler. My husband ended up stuck in the mud the next morning trying to pull our trailer out and luckily (and graciously) the owners were able to pull us out and give us first timers some much needed advice and pointers. We are so grateful for their kindness as well as their great hospitality. Park was clean, our spot was perfect, with a great view of the lake. We will definitely be returning soon!

I love it there. Hoping when I go back I can stay for the rest of my life. Everyone seems like we are all family. The owners are wonderful people. Great place for swimming and fishing and going out in my daughter & her hubbys boat for the day. If your looking for a safe and fun place, look no further ITS HERE. 💯❤️

Flat Creek Marina and RV park is a hidden gem on Lake Palestine. The park offers full 30/50 amp hookups and has amazing views of the lake from the little “island”. The sites are not overly close to each other, which was nice. We had plenty of space to setup camp. The restrooms/ shower/ laundry area is new and is kept super clean, it is a little bit of a walk from the island, but we were able to rent a golf cart which was very convenient. They do have a little store at the Marina which offers many items from drinks to snacks, bait, fishing licenses etc, this was also great for our daily routine of getting ice. The staff though, All were amazing and so very friendly and helpful with everything that we needed and wanted.. The park is very peaceful and is very well maintained, sure the marina gets busy on the weekends, but this should be expected and did not find it a disruption to our camping. It is also gated and is closed each night. They have and are continuing to make upgrades to this park. I can’t wait to see the end result. This is the perfect place to get a way from it all. But If you’re looking to get away from camp, make the drive into Chandler and visit Nettie’s Kitchen for an amazing breakfast (I’m a huge fan of their buttery hash browns and chicken fried steak) which they serve only Thursday-Sunday but are open the rest of the days for lunch and dinner or visit Wade’s that is by the country store.. they have some amazing seafood but serve burgers too. We love the park and the area, can’t wait to come back!

We absolutely love Flat Creek!! The atmosphere is extremely relaxing & peaceful with excellent waterfront spots. The fish are always biting & ducks roaming everywhere. We'll definitely continue to keep coming bk for more memories. Thank you Jennifer & the crew for always welcoming us with open arms.

Very nice marina under new management. Looks to be significantly upgraded. Staff and owners are extremely nice. Great location on Lake Palestine to get a day pass or spend a weekend or week (and shaded!) on their RV lots. Minnows and bait are reasonably priced.

We just stayed 3 days at Flat Creek Marina. Good stuff. It's only 7 miles from my house, but seems like a lot more because your secluded in a beautiful spot for a camper. Beautiful sunrise and sunset, lots of fish. This morning when we left, there was a flock of pelicans on the lake.... absolutely beautiful. I'm sorry I didn't get any pictures, but come take some for yourself. The Kellogg family as well as the Mayor, Jim Cox, make sure you feel welcome and have everything you need. A well stocked country store, bait, fish cleaning station, and restroom/shower facilities are all very clean and inviting. For a couple of days or a month at a time, this is great camping.

Utilized their boat launch for high school tournament. Great place to launch without the worry of your vehicle being broke into. Super nice people run the marina store. I spoke with Jennifer the day before getting the specifics on the ramp and she was the nicest person ever! Boat launch is concrete with dual boat launch.

Super friendly staff. Boat ramp on site. Avoid spot I-19. It's too small for almost 1 van and no room around it. I-65 is a great spot. Great view over the lake. There is no shared shower and bathroom building so you need everything on your RV. Full hookups are great. 50,30,110 electric and water.

Very nice people. Nice boat docks and they rent golf carts which made it so much easier to transport our son and wheelchair. Very nice bathroom and clean. Nice store and you cannot beat their hospitality. Very patriotic and everyone were nice to everyone. Beautiful place. We would visit again.

Quiet and peaceful place. We magnet fished the docks and I must say the water has absolutely no debris or snags. This is awful for magnet fishing but great for regular fishing and boating. The marina had a little store with necessities. They also had an extremely nice boat house and a solid concrete boat launch.

Jim and Jennie are amazing! Great place to bring the family and awesome place to go crappie fishing. Fishing, cleaning station, Camping, Rv and all the extras. Said they will be getting either kayaks or paddle boats soon! Excited for that and cant wait! Thanks guys!

We stay at Lake Tyler nearly every weekend, but went to Flat Creek for the first time for July 4th wkend (stayed 4 days). The spot we had was wonderful! It was PACKED but was so much fun. Our spot was on the canal side, so we were able to float where it was calm,, but we also caught catfish & bass, too. We loved the on-site store, and the fact that it is a gated park, so you have to have a code to get into the park. This was the biggest thing for us. It is 5 minutes from dollar general & gas stations too, plus a ton of restaurants if you don't feel like cooking. The only downfall was we had one of the very few spots that didn't have sewage hookups, but don't fret! There are also on-site showers & bathrooms. I took advantage of our camper toiletries since I was the only lady (lol) but my husband and all the boys used the community ones which were very clean. We appreciate the workers, and their allowing everyone to pop fireworks, too! We had a blast and will definitely be back.

We used their boat launch. It has been totally redone and is one of the nicest ones I've ever been to. They also. Have slips to pull up into and tie up while you are parking your vehicle. Also, check out their store. The have waygu and Buffalo burger for extremely low prices

Took a trip out of Flat Creek Marina with Sam Parker with Freshwater Fishing Adventures. Stopped at the marina to get minnows and snacks. I was very impressed with their bait selection. Very helpful and nice people, I will definitely stop again!

We rented a pontoon boat & it was wonderful! Staff was extremely friendly & helpful. The boat was clean & it ran great. The rental process was easy b/c it was all online. We had a fun day of tubing!! Will definitely rent from here again.

Stayed a month with my husband and two kids. We loved it! Wish we could’ve stayed longer, it’s quiet ,spacious slots, clean, it’s really a nice place to getaway. Plus we caught a lot crappie!!

A mess, road inti park rough, trashy, very crowded, vehickes parked every which way, dusty dirt roads that should be marked ONE-WAY, lots not level, not worth the cost of $45/full hookups, but some lots are on the waterfront. Boat launch was jammed, would be hard to do safely. Will not go there again. But office was nice anf helpful. Did not stay.
