Was in the store today to pick up a few items. Part of the staff was helpful in helping me locate the items I was looking for, however the cashier and what I assume was the manager were not. I picked up a 12"x24" piece of aluminum and some mounting bolts from their shelves. There were many of the aluminum sheets stocked in the same spot with a tag below it that showed 42.99. When I went to the front to pay the item rang up 64.99. I showed a staff member where I found the item, and he confirmed the price in which I saw earlier. The cashier then said the item numbers don't match, and then asked the manager come to the front. The manager said the same thing along with they must have been stocked in the wrong spot. Now the shelf item tag and the tag on the item did have the same description and size. So in this whole transaction I didn't receive an apology for the confusion or anything. Also the fact the item was stock in the "wrong" spot was a mistake made by the store. So in short due to the poor customer service is why I will take my business to another location for the time being. I hope this isn't the norm for this facility of business, and perhaps in the future they can change my view point of the customer service in .

Staff are not helpful except to back each other up when one is having to listen to an issue customer.I went in with my boss and a rather large young fellow offered help. He was present maybe 30 seconds then disappeared. We found him sitting down and my boss, being annoyed, decided to attempt to vent his frustration in a decent way until a female employee decided to cut into the discussion with an untrue excuse for the fellows departure. Not a good place and they are too expensive as well

My husband went to Ace today to return an unused chain for a chainsaw he just purchased less than an hour earlier. Because the package was opened ( even though the chain was clean and never used ), an employee named Terry was very rude and disrespectful telling him. My husband found the right chain but was not able to return the new ones one. He was very upset and told me he never wants to go back there after the way he was treated today.

I shop there frequently. The folks there are very knowledgeable and helpful. In most cases they have exactly what I’m looking for. Nice place to shop.I recommend ace hardware to my family and friends.

I called about a paint I needed. They price checked several items, and David was super friendly and helpful. He had the can shaken for me bt the time I got there. I called back and spoke with another person Dave I think and asked if they could shake a can that I already had and he said sure. When I arrived at the store the product was ready and they shook the other can while I waited. All staff that I spoke with were very polite. The store is organized, clean, and well stocked. Since I'm not from this city, it was great to have a hometown hardware store so convenient. My parent lives here so I'm sure that I will shop here again.

A great place to get what you need without having to drive into Tyler. They have a great selection of many products for home repairs and maintenance. Such as electrical, plumbing, paint, yard tools, hand tools, power tools, cleaning supplies, dirt and mulch, etc. They even service all the Stihl products they sell!!!

The Ace Hardware store in Chandler is amazing, I've grown so used to the shoddy service and surly staff at the big box hardware chains, that I was almost suspicious when a friendly clerk smiled, offered to help me and then actually did help me. It is very refreshing to go into a business that treats customers as if they wanted to earn theirbusiness. I know it is old-fashioned to appreciate good service, but I guess I'm just old-school.

This place is needed when people get off work at 5pm but they close right at 5pm. People at small town store should consider the hors better of operating. No one wants to work at that store to open it so might as well close it down. Sorry

Walked into the store with no customers. There were at least 4 or 5 employees that saw me walk in. They glanced at me and continued to talk to their co-workers. I walked around the store three times and no employees asked if they could help me. I put up the items I was wanting to purchase back on the shelf and walked out of the store. Will be going elsewhere from now on which is a pain to have to drive to Tyler but at least they are friendly and helpful. Shame.

Alright I know this is a small town hardware store but the people here are very friendly, knowledgable and were able to help me finish a big job I was on. They had most of what I needed so I did not have to run into town to one of the big 2. In fact I would rather shop here because of the employees to be honest. Don't feel like just a number. Good job everyone.

I'm impressed! I live in Tyler and don't get to Chandler often. I made an online purchase in February, planning to pick it up shortly thereafter. But I didn't. Fast forward to today and I still haven't made it out there. So, I requested a refund via email. I was concerned that they would decline because the purchase made so long ago, but I got a reply within minutes from a guy named David. He was super-friendly and processed my refund on the spot. Great experience!

The staff is always helpful and friendly. They are also very knowledgeable about what they carry. They make keys and have the normal stuff you would find at a small hardware/home improvement store. They may not be able to compete on price with the big warehouse stores, but if you only need a couple items, it beats driving to Tyler!

So I drove all the way from Tyler to get some supplies because ACE was the only place they had them in stock around the area. They say they close at 6 online, but when I got here at 5:40 “yes I know close to close” but in that time 4 people pulled up. Very disappointed!!

Rude, inconsiderate employees. When I was already walking toward the door in frustration after not getting even any help at all, some scooter nasty old dude, dirty hair tied up under a dirty hat, wearing dirty clothes, and smelling like nicotine did actually ask if I needed anything, I said, "Yes, I do", to which he responded "OK, good." and promptly walked off, cigs in hand. Didn't even look like an employee. Especially since he spent the first 10 minutes of my fruitless search standing outside the front door smoking and joking with another scooter nasty for quite awhile instead of doing his job. Not even going to waste time commenting about the clueless chick at the register. I didn't expect to get any help from her, not many 15 year olds know anything worth telling anyway, but the 3 other employees were much too interested in locking up. It was about 15 minutes til closing, but I was the ONLY PERSON IN THE STORE and not one person assisted me!! SO glad I don't live out there. Never should have stopped. Wasted time and effort. Forwarding these concerns to corporate.

A couple of things regarding this store and it's staff. 1) they are more than happy to allow service dogs-in training in, as we've been occasionally doing with out German Shepard, in fact one of the staff was the first people she let pet her! So having a place like that close by is a benefit. 2) the staff is kind and knowledgeable, especially when talking to someone who has no idea about anything electrical. Didn't try to sell something expensive, just what we needed for the assigned task. And a surprisingly good selection of light bulbs. They even had the vanity lights, which are for some reason a rarity these days, or at least when I went into Tyler. So save yourself a trip, this place has the staff and inventory to get any project finished right.

We just bought a new house in Chandler and are in the process of doing some repairs and upgrades before we move in. We've been very pleasantly surprised to find this local hardware store. They are always very helpful and informative. Prices are very good and we've been able to find everything we needed without the drive to Tyler.

They're like family and will assist you with whatever project you are working on. Whether it's Plumbing, ( I'm known as the Plumbing Guru with long hair and very knowledgeable in all things construction and general fix-it stuff).Electrical, (Justin) or Paint (Pat, Bob, ( Bob is the engineer every body should have on hand at a hardware store.) Landon, Terry or David {manager}. The cashier's Tracy and Glenda are polite and efficient.All of us strive to assist you.

I mistakenly purchased the wrong size staples for my staple gun. when I returned to exchange the salesman was very helpful but when I went to the register I was asked if I had opened the package and I said of course, how I knew they didn't fit. I was then given a lecture about how other customers don't like buying an already opened package and he became angry that I had not read the package instead of opening and caused them the great inconveniance of having to retape . The return policy should not have to include getting an angry lecture. I would not have tried to return if I had known I would be treated this way. Ace lost my business, as I know Home Depot, down the road, treats customers with respect.

They are always very helpful. They didn't have the exact size washer that I needed but they tried hard to help me. They have a surprising large selection. You will not wonder around lost in this store.

Great store. Well stocked and items you can't find at the big box stores and service that you definitely don't find at a big box store.
